What problems is Kubuntu solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Kubuntu on my day to day basis. It is super easy to use and lightweight. I use it a lot for programming, application development, and a bunch of scripting.
It gives me a lot of freedom to customize and gives me complete control over application development as mentioned earlier, it's lightweight and doesn’t consume a lot of CPU for unnecessary bookkeeping. It means a lot more resources available for a lot more computational power.
In web development, I use it to run and test the applications locally. Its super great and easy to do web development on Ubuntu without any additional dependencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
