What do you like best about Kuali Build?

What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kuali has solved the manual task of passing around a paper form or emailing back and forth electronic documents for signatures. This product has saved multiple departments hours. Whether it be IT no longer needing to assist with creating complex fillable PDF's or those included in the approval process no longer having to track down lost documents, Kuali has been a game changer for our campus. What do you like best about Kuali Build?

Kuali is a blend of power and user-friendliness. And user can hop into the platform and build complex forms and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kuali Build?

It is difficult to find things to dislike. I've been using Kuali for almost three years, and the limitations of the past are no longer an issue. Kuali is always evolving and introducing new features (a good thing!), but these occasionally introduce bugs. However, the support is fantastic and resolves bugs within hours. What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?

It reduces our need for custom web app development. The majority of our legacy web apps were simple forms. Kuali Build has completely supplanted those.

Our citizen developers can manage and create forms and apps without IT intervention. Citizen development has significantly reduced IT requests for custom solutions.

We have moved several processes from paper and email workflows to Kuali apps. Doing so modernizes the process and reduces administrator confusion and user frustration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kuali Build?

The flexibility of Build means it can be utilized to fulfil a wide variety of needs. You can recreate a PDF form and have it ready in minutes, but can also build extremely complex workflows. The drag/drop interface used makes it extremely user friendly. The ability to use branching logic enables you to handle almost any scenario. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kuali Build?

What do you like best about Kuali Build?

Kuali Build, and their parent company Kuali, have been easy to work with and the product has been very beneficial to our institution. The apps have streamlined many business processes and ease of use for our end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Build is still a young product; at the time of this review just over 2 years old. There have been small growing pains and limitations to functionality. What do you like best about Kuali Build?

I like that people can fill out forms with Kuali and that the information gets stored in one central place. I appreciate the implied security that Kuali has, especially since, in the past, we would've sent out Google Forms for people to fill out and then received the feedback via email. What do you dislike about Kuali Build?

I'm not too fond of Kuali forms not having a good share button/link. It would be nice if we could create a public link for a document from the form screen. People tend to copy/paste, and that ends up with a nonworking URL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kuali Build solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've been able to request protected health information from people without having the submissions go to someone's inbox. Instead, the data is stored in a secure, centralized database. The benefit is the safety and security of said data, along with the ease of use. We're not having people fill out a PDF and submit it back to us.
