"Great tool for image design"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Krita?

We have been working together with Krita and Gimp for a long time in our company and we are very happy with the professional results obtained with this great application. Krita is as good as any other payment application, even superior to many of the ones I've tried. Creating sketches with Krita is not an easy task because it has a very high learning curve but thanks to the documentation and to the community you can learn to develop in a few days, then the results are impressive.

The best thing about this application is:

- In the office, everyone chooses their favorite OS, so using Krita is not a problem because it is multiplatform and supports Windows and Linux

- Support for images created in formats of other applications that are not Krita, for example .PSD of photoshop.

- Krita is very stable, with other applications when opening large templates, or it could result in a crash of the application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krita?

Some older graphics tablets can cause problems if you do not use certain drivers under Linux, Windows is totally fine. Also they can improve the icon theme to look more descriptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Krita, an artistic design tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Krita?

It is an application that works easily with digitizing tablets, simply plugging in our device already recognizes it. Personally I use the application under the Windows10 operating system at work and under Linux at home. Both systems work in the same way with Krita so it can be said that both versions are compiled in the same way.

As for artistic creation, Krita, is an application that is at the level of Photoshop, in some cases I would say that it is even superior, personally I prefer to use Krita since the tool is completely free and the results are very similar, plus once you you usually use the application, it is very quick and easy to create the sketches and any type of images. The interface has improved a lot in the latest updates so that by changing the theme for one of the options offered from the options menu we can have an aesthetically attractive application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krita?

It is not something negative since it happens with all the applications but maybe in Krita the learning curve is somewhat high, personally at first it cost me enough to adapt to the application so I lost a lot of time in the designs, after a while and of reading documentation I have improved a lot. "Creating art with Krita"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Krita?

Krita is a fork of gimp created to design sketches, paintings or artistic logos for companies or web design as we use it in the company.

The application of course is completely free and open source in addition to multi platform (Windows, Linux and Mac). Our main use of krita is the creation of logos and funds in the web pages created by our team.

About krita:

- The application is very stable in its latest versions

- The final finishes are incredible once you learn to use the application correctly

- A lot of documentation on how to do all kinds of things with krita available on the internet

- The application supports a large number of formats such as xcf, psd or png

- Large amount of brushes to choose and use in your designs

- The application loads very fast unlike other applications of the same type, Krita is very light and does not consume much CPU or RAM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krita?

The interface of the application is a little outdated, should update a little and add more descriptive icons. They could also add some scripts by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"If you are an artist, Krita is for you."
4/5
What do you like best about Krita?

I work remotely for my company making sketches for web design, I have used krita for a long time and I am very satisfied with the results I have obtained in all this time.

Krita is very powerful once you learn to use it with all your keyboard shortcuts you increase the speed enormously. Technically Krita has improved a lot compared to previous versions and now it is a very stable, fast and reliable application.

We liked Krita which is a free and open source application with a lot of documentation available on the internet, so although the learning curve is high, you can learn to do simple and beautiful things in a short time. It also supports third-party plugins.

What do you dislike about Krita?

The previous versions of krita were a little unstable but this has been solved, the only negative aspect nowadays is that its interface, specifically the icons are not very descriptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Krita: the reference for digital painting"
4/5
What do you like best about Krita?

There are many advantages in Krita, but I mainly love it because:

- It is free, open and quick. This characteristic is essential when you compare it with ArtRage.

- It provides some possibilities that other programs (like Photoshop do not). Yes, I know that Photoshop is designed for digital photography edition. Instead, I like the Krita's ability to create digital artwork using a vast set of brushes with many advanced options (pressure, tilt, pressure, rotation...9 engines in total)

- I like use Krita with a tablet, instead of Photoshop or Gimp which I always use with a mouse.

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krita?

There are few disadvantages I can find in Krita:

- Perhaps, I would like that Krita incorporates deeper digital tablet support.

- Another problem is that does not support support SVG 2 (for example, mesh gradients) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Painting is beautiful with krita!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Krita?

We really like the power of krita, we use it to create big canvas and we printed them to use it in different promotions and publicity. Krita it's also a stability rock you would never will see crashing o hanging.

Another good thing about krita is that it barely consume resources from your computer, i've never saw it above 1 gigabyte of ram.

More positive things about krita:

- Huge collection of brushers

- Support for RAW, PNG, JPEG, BMP and PSD formats

- it is a fork from gimp

- By using it you are supporting a community of people that works just for free

- We can create professional design and images without paying a single dollar!

- Open source

- Multi platform (Linux, Windows and Mac are supported) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krita?

Since it is a fork from gimp the look and feel from krita is clearly outdated. It is a bit weird that the create such a nice program that can product awesome design and the app itself looks so old. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
