What problems is Kraken solving and how is that benefiting you? Consolidation reduced noise for me. I keep crypto and equities in one workspace, so I’m not bouncing between platforms or duplicating basic steps. Execution also became more predictable: on liquid crypto pairs, tighter spreads and deeper books translated into fewer partial fills when things get busy. Governance is clearer now that the boundary between the brokerage side and digital asset services is explicit, with risk docs I can actually cite in internal policies. On the move, the Pro app fills the gap; it gives me enough data and control to make small adjustments between desk sessions without losing context. It is now nearly two years ever since I implemented Kraken. Prior to this tool, I was using LocalBitcoins which was full of fraudsters. With Kraken, I am able to trade (buy and sell) bitcoins. Kraken provides access to the widest range of tokens and is accessible globally. Many other exchanges either do not have the range of tokens or are limited in access based on geographic scope. I am so sad to see it doesn't support BNB which is one of the most popular crypto these days , I still can't figure out why some apps don't use specific tokens ans crypto but BNB is a must hope they can add it soon . The platform has a variety of crypto tokens to select, giving a client more options. The platform also offers high-level security through a well-organized and systematic verification process with a two-factor authenticator (2FA) security feature. Initially I did not like that there was no app, but now I see there is a new phone app available! There is a sequence and process to setting up an account, but once you complete it, you're set. Kraken has been great when compared to other exchanges I have used. There is plenty of volume to ensure that you will be able to execute orders and unlike others the orders actually go through when submitted. They have been doing upgrades to the platform over the last few years since 2018 that have significantly increased the reliability of the platform. This has increased confidence in high volume order times significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kraken? The only negative I have is last year the platform was down for around 2 weeks while doing maintenance. This was just simply too long. (2018). Looking at 2020 there have not been any issues with the platform so far. The only issue I had was getting approved for a higher level on my account due to a glitch on the site. Recommendations to others considering Kraken: Highly recommend using Kraken over different trading platforms. I like them more than the other well known platforms such as coinbase. The reason for this is they provide all of the tools and higher quality charts without having to move to another version of the site.
