Strong 2FA, granular controls for sensitive actions, and a conservative custody stance create a solid baseline for operating on an exchange. ✅ Market coverage and execution tooling fit active trading. Kraken Pro combines responsive order books, fast data, advanced order types, and a layout that supports quick intervention when markets move. ✅ Competitive spreads and high API throughput. On liquid pairs, price formation is clean and order routing stays stable even as volumes spike, which helps reduce slippage and keep fills consistent. ✅ Clarity around margin, staking, and geographic limits. Product surfaces consistently spell out risks, eligibility, and availability without marketing vagueness. ✅ Commission‑free equities with fractional shares. Bringing U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs into the same ecosystem as crypto simplifies rotation across asset classes, and fractionals make position sizing precise for high-priced names. ✅ One coherent experience across web, Kraken app, and Kraken Pro. Monitoring and execution stay consistent, including on mobile, which reduces context switching. ✅ Risk documentation that is practical. xStocks and staking pages enumerate operational, counterparty, liquidity, and timing risks in plain language that is useful for real decision making. ✅ Product communications that are pragmatic. Launch details, supported states, the regulated brokerage entity, and the phased roadmap were presented clearly and in a way that is easy to verify. **What do you dislike about Kraken?** Equities isn’t available everywhere yet, especially early in the rollout. **What problems is Kraken solving and how is that benefiting you?** Consolidation reduced noise for me. I keep crypto and equities in one workspace, so I’m not bouncing between platforms or duplicating basic steps. Execution also became more predictable: on liquid crypto pairs, tighter spreads and deeper books translated into fewer partial fills when things get busy. Governance is clearer now that the boundary between the brokerage side and digital asset services is explicit, with risk docs I can actually cite in internal policies. On the move, the Pro app fills the gap; it gives me enough data and control to make small adjustments between desk sessions without losing context.
