While more capabilities are available, this is the extent of our use. That said, we get a lot out of it. The trainings are pretty good but the real gold is in the API. Through that, we can integrate KPA Flex with our existing system. That allows us to keep our schedule of trainings and track completions in our systems while utilizing their training platform. It's fantastic. Also, the community and KPA employees are great. Both are incredibly helpful and responsive. And the initial setup was so easy. It is possible and realistic to get up and running within a couple of days. I work for a smaller company so we were able to get data imported completely within a day. The API integration took a little longer but even that was easy. **What do you dislike about Novara Flex?** I have trouble thinking of things that I dislike about KPA Flex. I don't have anything but extremely minor gripes that are specific to our situation for the most part. So, I'm going to have to say that I don't have a great answer for this. All safety forms we use are now on the same format across all 18 of our locations. Creating a form that this certain set of individuals can fill out, that notifies this other set of individuals, that can only be accessed later by another set of individuals has been interesting to say the least. Most are quite basic in their offerings and lack any sort of polish. KPA EHS has a great amount of depth and flexibility in how it can be tailored to your organization. It also looks and feels like a modern tool for the current age. Many of the other programs we have used felt trapped in the early days of the web and had various technical issues that were never fixed or required regular contact with their tech support to get around. KPA EHS not only has the fit and finish of a top-tier tool but also has a very responsive and customer-focused team. They have a forum for questions, suggestions, and education resources that is a bit young but headed in a great direction, and their team is quite active and quick to answer. Also, their pricing model is fantastic, especially for companies that have a lot of flux or are in periods of transition, as you purchase a capacity level instead of individual licenses. This is great for being able to just add and remove people as needed without any hoops to jump through. While this program was on the higher end of what we were hoping to spend, every penny has been worth it due to the high quality and advanced capabilities we have gained access to. This is truly the gold standard of safety and asset management! **What do you dislike about Novara Flex?** The only thing I can really say on the dislike side (which is more of a minor inconvenience than anything) is that there are some quirks and a lack of microcopy in the interface that caused some inconveniences early on. My main example of this is that in assigning trainings by a job title, there is a dropdown of the job titles and if you click on one the dropdown will close. I tried holding CTRL to select multiple items (being a Windows guy) and that didn't work. After posting on their forums, I found that I needed to hold Shift to do this. A little note near the dropdown would have gone a long way, but I also might not have posted on their forums and had the great interactions that I did. That's literally the worst thing I have encountered, so, hopefully, that communicates how great a product (and team) they have! **What problems is Novara Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?** KPA EHS has solved one very time-consuming problem for us: managing our training program. As a sub-50 employee company, you wouldn't think that it would be hard to track but we have literally thousands of trainings to account for each year (up to 60+ per employee, depending on their role). Their system and mobile app make it easy to assign trainings and see who is and isn't current on each and every training. We can assign trainings by any number of criteria, which makes it quick and easy to set up training programs. They also have an API so we can access that training data in our company apps and reporting systems. Their built-in reporting is quite sufficient as well, but it is nice to not lose any previous work we have done in building our safety program but instead can integrate KPA EHS into it, again easily and quickly. ### 18. My front line workers dont have company issued devices, so they dont have the KPA app on their mobile devices. One reason why we wanted to use KPA was to track out employees training. Dont get me wrong the training that KPA has is good. On the flip side you cant just have an hourly employee take LOTO or confined space training alone with out an instructor. There is a way to to track employees training completions without them having an account, but it is more of a pain than having it the way KPA wants to charge for the amount of users. There should be a feature that allows users to add peoples names so they can track training. **What problems is Novara Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a clearing house of infomration, and a place to store it. ### 22. Other softwares don't have that option and have to do it manually. Helps me save time and headache. **What do you dislike about Novara Flex?** Not quite having all the chemical that we use at our shop in the system. The wording and Spellilng before or after the product or manufacturer makes some things a little annoying. **What problems is Novara Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think a lot has benefited the company that I work for with all the little booklets for different topics and cenarios that can occur in any field.
