I was looking for a replacement for FactSet for my personal accounts and a friend recommended Koyfin. I have just started using it and am very impressed with its range of data and function. I especially like the charting function and layouts. I can keep track of a full range of credit spreads, stocks, bond yields, FX and market indices. Koyfin offers a lot of functionality for the fraction of the price of an institutional-grade platform like Sentieo/AlphaSense or Factset. Charting is easy, screening is probably the most intuitive of any solution I've used, and it's a flexible way to view financials. The watchlist customization is also great. Not being able to download financials to Excel is a real drawback. Downloading financials and filings from the same platform I screen, look at charts and financials, and keep up to date would be ideal.
