"Intuitive Portfolio Comparison"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Koyfin?

I like the ease of use and the client-friendly reports that Koyfin provides. I also enjoy being able to set price alerts for certain securities that clients have concentrated positions in, which helps in planning for goals like divesting strategies or managing exposure. Koyfin does a great job of comparing a company's strategies or models with a client's current portfolio by allowing you to take client statements in Excel or PDF format and compare them side by side. It's pretty easy to understand and it flows nicely for prospect meetings. I appreciate the better proposal output for prospects or clients and the improved user analysis, which allows for tracking performance over time and adding previous changes to certain strategies. I thought the setup was pretty easy and intuitive, and I was able to use it even before the introductory call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyfin?

I think the integration to Orion and maybe their other integrations as well could be slightly better. It'd be nice if I could integrate my entire book through Orion with Koyfin. And then from there, I can kinda pick and choose certain clients that come on board to propose certain strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One-Click Investment Comparisons That Replace Hours in Excel"
5/5
What do you like best about Koyfin?

Power to easily compare investments across hundreds of variables. For example, we keep watchlists of our key holdings so that we can instantly see up-to-date performance metrics. Before using Koyfin, we wasted an enormous amount time doing manual research and entry into Excel. Now we can see what we need with one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyfin?

I wish it had data on municipal funds or, as a minimum, recently muni yield curves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Market Analysis with Intuitive Design"
5/5
What do you like best about Koyfin?

I use Koyfin for market analysis, news, keeping track of client stock, internal investment model portfolios, and screening investments. Koyfin is a comprehensive, user-friendly platform that is much easier to use and makes me more efficient than other common industry platforms I have used before for investment research and analysis. I like the intuitive user interface. The learning curve is short, which I can't say for competitors like Thomson One and Bloomberg. It makes it easy to find the information I want and to customize charts, screens, etc., for my use or for client communications. The initial setup was very easy, and it didn't take me long to import or set up portfolios, watchlists, and to create the custom graphs I use the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyfin?

It took me a while to figure out how to set price alerts based on percentages off of all-time highs or peaks, but other than that, I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective Bloomberg Alternative with Intuitive UI"
5/5
What do you like best about Koyfin?

I really appreciate Koyfin as a cost-effective replacement for Bloomberg, allowing me access to basic Bloomberg functions like dividend screens, analyst recommendations, and news for much less money. Their portfolio modeling is fantastic, making it very easy to track client portfolios. I find the UI much more visually appealing compared to Bloomberg. It allows me to absorb a lot of information quickly. The portfolio modeling feature is very useful for tracking multiple portfolios with live data day to day. Setting up Koyfin was extremely easy, requiring almost no effort on my end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyfin?

There is very little to dislike about Koyfin Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective Data Powerhouse for Institutional Investors"

What do you like best about Koyfin?

I like that Koyfin is very cost-effective and provides me with the data I normally have to hunt and peck on the internet to put together manually. It's right there at my fingertips. As an adviser to institutional investors, Koyfin gives me a lot of granular data that I can use for my reporting. I've also found the initial setup easy, having used the free platform before upgrading to the paid version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Koyfin?

"Simplify Investment Research with Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Koyfin?

I really appreciate Koyfin's grasp functionality and find it easy to use. Having used YCharts before, I found Koyfin much simpler and less overwhelming. The support team is phenomenal, being very responsive to my needs. I also value Koyfin's commitment to actively making feature updates, which shows their eagerness to develop and improve the platform. This forward-thinking approach, though the company is newer compared to some longstanding competitors, was a significant reason I opted for their service. Furthermore, the initial setup was super easy, and while learning all the tool's capabilities will be an ongoing journey, getting started with Koyfin was straightforward. What do you dislike about Koyfin?

I'm not satisfied with the limitation on the PDF reader function in the Pro subscription. There's a cap of 10 documents per month, which I find too restrictive. I would appreciate having a larger limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
