Great eBook creation software **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Clyde Eugene M. | Departmental Chairperson (Natural Sciences), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2020 **What do you like best about Kotobee Author?** Kotobee Author allows you to configure the layout prior to working on the document and this is great as it gives the user full control over the authoring process. The user interface is also modern and intuitive for beginners that are getting started. The software also allows you to import PDFs and ePub files. The ability to play around in the source mode also allows advanced users the ability to style their content much more fluidly than most other authoring tools on the market. This is very handy for that odd image or two that just need a little extra nudge to be pixel perfect. **What do you dislike about Kotobee Author?** Although the user interface is quite intuitive there's still somewhat of a learning curve. This is to be expected of all new software products though, but it is not much of an issue. It's just something to be aware of. **Recommendations to others considering Kotobee Author:** As with all new software, it is very important to read the documentation and also to watch a few YouTube videos before diving in to creating new documents with Kotobee Author. It is simple enough to learn on your own with practice, but there's no harm in getting initial guidance. I would also suggest starting with small documents just to get a clear understanding of the tool before committing to a full-on project and then struggling to bring out the best of your document when you get stuck. **What problems is Kotobee Author solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an Educator, I have been playing with Kotobee Author to create curated content for my classes. The fluid layouts make it better to digest on various device sizes. ### 2.
