Koberger is a professional book formatting platform for independent authors, self-publishing businesses, and small presses. It turns a finished manuscript into retail-ready publishing files, so the people who produce and sell their own books can ship a polished, professional result without hiring a designer or learning page-layout software. Because Koberger runs entirely in the browser, there is nothing to install and it works the same on Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS. It is a modern, cross-platform alternative to desktop-only formatting apps. Authors import a DOCX manuscript, structure the book, apply a professional design preset, and preview the ebook and print layout as they work. When the book is ready, they export a validated EPUB for ebook retailers, an interior print PDF sized correctly for Amazon KDP and other print-on-demand services, and a DOCX if they need one. Koberger is built for people who publish more than once. Reusable presets, series tools, and a shared section library keep a growing catalogue consistent, while built-in front and back matter (title pages, copyright, dedication, and table of contents) draw from publishing details entered a single time. A free account lets an author build and preview a complete project before subscribing. Koberger Pro unlocks unlimited exporting for active publishing work.
