I used Kobalt.io for cybersecurity consulting, review, and SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance support, and their offerings have been incredibly helpful. They maintained weekly check-ins and provided knowledge and advice that forever changed how I view cybersecurity. They monitored our access logs, assisted with incident response and disaster recovery simulations, and advocated for us during audits. Their security team ensured we were aware of any unusual activities, giving us reassurance. I appreciate our vCISO, Fred Boissiere, who really cares about us and helped us navigate difficult problems. Our Customer Success Director, Peter, is great at turning feedback into results. The overall approach of Kobalt.io is unmatched for small to medium businesses, providing far more value than we're paying for. Their assistance with policy creation, audit support, and enforcement has been transformative for our company. What do you dislike about Kobalt.io? When we started with Kobalt.io, we had a difficult time setting up our endpoint management. It was challenging because the system we were using seemed to have plenty of bugs and it was hard to test. We are going through SOC 2 certification, and honestly, the process can feel like torture for a software developer. That said, Kobalt.io has made it much easier than I expected. They’re consistently there to motivate us, keep us moving forward, and make us feel like we’re truly part of the team.
