Not only do they carry important data, they also project a look and feel through their design, paper type, color, thickness, texture, etc. However, they don't quite fit in our digital world. They can't be shared via LinkedIn, text message or Skype, and you have to store them, type the data to include it in your contacts and then search & find it when you need it. Knowee overcomes all of these issues by creating actual business cards in the digital world while keeping the exact same design and providing all the expected functionality. A Knowee card looks exactly the same as the paper card, but all of the data it holds is immediately usable with a single click or tap. Tap and call, tap and navigate in the map, tap and create a contact in your device. Ultra-compatible. Now you can scan received paper cards to include them in your cards holder and even share them with others. When receiving a Knowee card, it's automatically stored in the user's Card holder for later search. Add notes, interchange location and date - and finding it later will be dead simple. Create as many cards as you want, one for each of your needs and share them without limits. ## Knowee Reviews ### 1. A new way to digitize your business cards **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Andrea V. | Artista Textil, Textiles, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023 **What do you like best about Knowee?** What I like the most is that business cards can be shared through different social networks and other means, practically the card or credential is a web page that contains all the information about my company, my social networks, contact information, etc. It can also be shared as a QR code, which makes sharing the link faster and more agile. It is really very useful. My clients do not have to register to access my credential and they can also download it without any problems. And best of all, I can upload my own business card without any issues. Or if I want, I can choose from the ones they offer. **What do you dislike about Knowee?** There is nothing that I dislike. It would be excellent if there were more card options to choose from, but if you have your own card, you just have to upload it to the website and that's it. **What problems is Knowee solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's great because no matter where you are or where you go, if you have your smartphone, you can share your business card and scan others. Business cards are very important, even though some people think they are not necessary, digitizing them and having a database at hand is great for maintaining your clients, meeting new clients, and also having at hand people who offer services that might interest me later on. ### 2. The cards generate a QR code and a link that can be shared and opens a webpage with your information, which is excellent and I like it a lot. You can have a database of business cards and multimedia files can be added. **What do you dislike about Knowee?** The editing part of the cards is not as easy as it seems. I tried to edit a template and didn't know how to do it, you need to have some knowledge of code, as I understand it. **What problems is Knowee solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was trying it out because I would like to be able to manage my business cards digitally, since, due to my work, I meet a lot of people and we usually exchange these cards, but I'm still not convinced because I would like to customize my card as much as possible and I haven't been able to understand the editing area on the page. ### 3. It's great that it provides you with a QR code and the ability to share it easily. It has an efficient app. Beyond the tools to create your card, what I like the most is the cardholder. Being able to scan other people's cards and have them at hand at any time, digitally and on various devices, is really the importance of this software. It's an excellent idea. The free version is very good. **What do you dislike about Knowee?** The templates are not entirely attractive or to my liking. I would like more editing options, such as adding different elements. **Recommendations to others considering Knowee:** Knowee is great if you want to keep your business cards and those of your potential clients digitized and organized. It's always good to have everything at hand, on various devices, so I highly recommend this software. **What problems is Knowee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Due to the nature of my work, I meet many potential clients and it is a great advantage to be able to scan or take a photo of their cards and have a virtual cardholder. It is not expensive and even its free version is great because it allows me to store a wide range of business or presentation cards. It is an excellent idea because the digital world is what is innovating at the moment. I am just starting to use it, but I think it is very useful. ### 4. QR code reading for more speed and user comfort. **What do you dislike about Knowee?** Server performance issue when logging in with a Gmail account and during automatic registration. **Recommendations to others considering Knowee:** Digitize all your user presentations and store them safely, share. **What problems is Knowee solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pass all virtual user data, store it safely, and search by likes. High-quality business card designs, template layout, and auto-sync. ### 5. I like the idea of having a digitized card holder since it is less likely for the cards to get lost and they are easy to locate, you can take it everywhere. **What do you dislike about Knowee?** As soon as I entered, I tried to register with LinkedIn and it gave an error, then I tried with Gmail and the same thing happened. It seems these options are not working. When I started entering my data, I wanted to modify the card and it sent me to another page that is really hard to understand, although it has several templates, but I didn't understand how to customize it. In fact, I tried to upload the logo and I couldn't modify its size. **Recommendations to others considering Knowee:** It depends on what you're looking for in a business card, this software can serve you. **What problems is Knowee solving and how is that benefiting you?** So far it hasn't worked for me. I like the idea of the virtual cardholder and the way it is shared with clients, but I think the software has a long way to go to become fully functional. I would like to be able to design my own card with design tools like those Canva has, for example, and also be able to add animations, even sound. That would be ideal. I understand that it's a new venture and it's a great start.
