Integration with Outlook is the best part for us as we primarily deal with O365 with our clients. Though not intuitive from the start, we love the ability to customise a lot of features for our clients, either on a root level, organisation or individual user. Lack of OSX integration with Outlook is a bit of a bummer for some of our clients and also that Microsoft keeps pushing updates that screw with the functionality of Egress, often disabling it, hiding it or blocking it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Egress meets all of our needs, is very secure and easy for our users to understand. The customer Service provided by the company was extremely impressive. Their staff has subject matter experts and product owners who are friendly and who answered all of our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The environment works well, so far we have not had any complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are many times in my line of work when I have to transfer a large file, a large number of files, or a confidential file (or confidential information) to someone within my organization. Traditional email is usually not the best way to transfer such files, either due to an attachment size limit or the non-secure nature of non-encrypted emails. Moreover, transferring such files over the cloud may not always be secure (nor is transferring paper copies of information through the internal mail system). The Egress Switch software allows me to do all of the above tasks within the framework of the Microsoft Outlook email software; I don't even have to open up a new program on my computer. Egress Switch can be finicky and confusing at times. There have been multiple times in which I've attached encrypted files/text to an email message within Microsoft Outlook, only for all the attachments to be removed once I hit the "Send" button to send my email. This is quite annoying, as it means re-attaching the files to the email all over again. A less discerning user may even end up sending an email without any attachments at all by accident. Moreover, when accessing the secure file(s) sent through email (via the "Switch Web Access" tool), it is not clear whether one should "Open Online" or "Download" the file(s). For my organization, "Download"-ing the file is always the easier and preferred option, as the "Open Online" option requires creating an Egress account/profile, which is not only unnecessary but perhaps worrisome for some users. Finally, for the recipient of an Egress email, it is not always clear that the email received is legitimate. In fact, I've had Egress email recipients tell me that they thought my email was a phishing/spam attempt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy it is to set up and train employees. Plus it's easy to get customers on board to use it. And it integrates great with what we use already for email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our clients trust the platform as much as we do and the clients handle their own account provisioning, which eliminates password resets our end :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only dislikes are missing features, like grouping users so that each time we create a Zone we can assign the Ops group admin level permission, rather than individuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the best thing i like about egress is the simplicity and the ease of access for users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
what i dislike about it is the maneuvering inside the software to allow the clients and users to reach the utmost output Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The key thing I like best about egress is simplicity and clarity for our users - in addition they are easy to engage and talk to, and the platform has well thought out features and functions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I initially disliked user management, it was disjointed and unclear - however now that have progressed with SSO this is much more simplified Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple to use for all users even clients can use it with ease. The platform also has great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pop up can be annoying but I do understand why it is there. Other than that I have no complaints and enjoy the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
