The engineers at Egress made it simple to setup the system and work with me on their dashboard to understand how everything works and how to best monitor the traffic flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A renewal price jump of $400+ doesnt make me very happy and there is a 2 month window for service cancellation, this did not make me very happy but I was short on time to review other options and so I was left to renew. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Anyone is able to recieve egress messages and it is usually simple for them to sign up.

Sometimes egress messages go into junk. There are often issues when emailing from my business account to another business with an egress subscription which means that I have to abandon egress entirely. Customer services don't know / don't respond when I raise this issue.

There is very poor intergration for Mac which is a shame as the windows version is really good. I wish that I could intergrate egress into Outlook for mac better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Outlook integration - a simple click can encrypt an email. It also decrypts emails within Outlook, avoiding the need to move to another program. The ability to attach large files using Egress (independent of encryption) is also very helpful as, again, it keeps everything within one application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

On occasion, the integration with Outlook can fail, and it takes a bit of poking around to get it working again. Usually, a restart of the PC, then Outlook, and an update of Egress solves this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It does what it says on the tin, and the local authorty I work with also use Egress so eans there are no issues sharing important information. it has never let me down Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel the downside is I struggle to carry on an email trail. Sometimes this is needed to remind me of what has been said in the past. Also, not having a person's email address makes it hard to find a contact Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really love the fact that it is integrated within Outlook environment so you do not have to log into any external portal in the cloud (well, you can if you want to) and the integration works seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To be honest, I have not found any downsides of the product itself so far. The only downside could be that it does not offer integration with other email clients or products out there and that this might be something to be considered by the development team. It has been part of our toolset for sometime and continues to evolve to meet the ever changing requirements in this technology space. Egress as a partner are attentive, easy to work with and also so happy to help. With encryption services it is always a trade off between what is the best most logically secure method vs. the end user experience. The most common feedback is that users find creating another account with a password they need to remember a burden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
