"Knack has streamlined communication in our org"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Knak?

I love how intuitive and easy it is to use. The interface is glossy and pretty - the layouts appeal to the eye. Very user-friendly with a great UX design. In addition, the tech support team is helpful and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knak?

Currently, I am experiencing issues with using Knak on the new version of Outlook. It would be nice if I could either send an email directly from Knak or paste my output directly into Outlook without having to re-edit the format/font. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best solution for creating out of the box emails and landing pages templates for Marketo"
5/5
What do you like best about Knak?

Knak enables Marketo users to create emails and landing pages templates in Knak and then sync it to Marketo. This allows Marketo users to keep valuable assets in Marketo, and not in some other third party systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knak?

I hope they can add the Dynamic Content feature into their platform. This feature will enable Marketo users to create dynamic emails and landing pages templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Email Builder"
5/5
What do you like best about Knak?

It is very refreshing to know that I can build an email inside and out and know that it will literally render properly across all email service providers. In the past Outlook has always been a point of concern but that has been completely eliminated. I also like the fact that we have the ability to create our brands, which templatizes a bunch of different things like colour codes that are applied throughout. The modules are also a great piece, especially for simple things like an email header, or fotter with all unsubscribe information, etc. Being able to instantly add that as well as other possible pieces into a module is key.

The integration with Marketo works really well too. The only gripe with that is when you change the name of the email in Knak, it doesn't carry forward after the fact and you have to change it within Marketo. That said, it syncs pretty quickly and I rarely experience issues when performing that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Knak?

Despite it being a great service, I would say that there needs to be some improvement on the user experience side. For example, it can be a bit clunky to create a campaign and drop a duplicated email into the campaign. If you're not using the service all the time, it can be confusing for some. Initially Knak didn't have the folder structure, but when it was added it was huge and much easier to navigate. That said, it can still be a bit clunky as it kind of opens, pops up, then closes after you select an email. I would keep something like that open all the time. It can be frustrating to deal with for someone who is in Knak all the time.

Deleting a user can be a bit challenging as well. When they are tied to 'review groups' you can't delete until they have been removed. That's a relatively simple fix until you discover that they are tied to a lot of groups or still need to review a lot of emails. It should be a simple delete user and be done with it.

The roles can be a bit confusing as well. The administrator role seems redundant. The licensed users vs the premium users is a bit confusing too as there's no definition of what that is or means unless you speak to a rep. Not the end of the world, but everything should be clear within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
