Overall, if you know what you're doing with api integrations and coding, you can make this baby beautiful. This is a really good program if you are in a larger corporation that needs to review all of your data from multiple platforms at a glance. **What do you dislike about Klipfolio?** I really dislike their training style. It's costly, and you have to pay a lot for a support ninja to help you. If you're a small company, it can run up your bill fast. It is meant for larger organizations, and depending on the level of complexity, a lot of the same integrations could be acquired for free now within the Google Data Studio if you are hoping to utilize this simply for marketing. However, if you need a lot more insights from Salesforce, or Microsoft etc. this can work well. **What problems is Klipfolio solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is excellent to review your key metrics in one reporting place quickly. It can show you all the platform data that you find most important on a dashboard to know where you are headed. I was able to pull customer leads that filled out the form on the website as well with the date and time stamp so a client could easily find out how many customers they were acquiring in real-time. This made key decision-makers very happy. ### 4. Presentation is great. As a business trying to scale, it is hard for us to be convinced that we can have multiple team members across various locations learn to set up and monitor Klipfolio. **What problems is Klipfolio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrating multiple data sources in order to present key information to management. ### 5. It is extremely flexible in terms of its ability to work with and visualize a multitude of data types. Its visualizations are clear and aesthetically pleasing and work well for personal or wall-mounted dashboards. **What do you dislike about Klipfolio?** Klipfolio's actual Klip (the visualizations themselves) building experience is disorienting. The UI itself is cluttered and lacks any options to hide windows, requiring the user to drag the window borders to adjust proportions. It is surprisingly difficult to use on standard 1080p screens as a result. Additionally, the bits of UI and buttons required to complete a task seem to be randomly scattered throughout the various menus of the klip builder without much thought to organization, making work with the Klip builder quite slow until you've gained a sufficient level of facility with its arrangement. **Recommendations to others considering Klipfolio:** Solid BI tool, just hope you're not the one building Klips! **What problems is Klipfolio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Klipfolio is our primary internal BI visualization tool. It does the task of visualizing business intelligence data quite well, bizarrely at odds with the confusing Klip builder experience. ### 6. It provides you an ability to combine lots of different data sources and create an awesome metrics to share with your staff. The interface is pretty straightforward and support guys are pretty responsive. In general, the solution is great, if you don't have to implement any integrations using Klipfolio API. **What do you dislike about Klipfolio?** The REST API provided looks pretty solid at the first sight, but when it comes to development, you suddenly meet a *surprize*. First of all, there are some limitations for requests limit per second (about 5 per second), somebody would say it's pretty enough and I would agree, if the method structure was logical, but it's not. Some of the "create" methods allow you to pass parameters, which will require extra API calls to change. For example, you can set user role on user create, but you can't use only "edit" method to change user role, you have to make another call, so that if you want to change several user parameters on edit - you will have to make a ton of API calls instead of sending one, at least for some of the extra parameters. If you go a bit deeper, you will also find a lack of documentation or even a wrong description of methods usage (in some cases). **What problems is Klipfolio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to build various metrics for internal staff and it fits our needs just perfect. ### 8. The number of data source inputs that they connect to makes it a breeze to show data across multiple software that we utilize. **What do you dislike about Klipfolio?** The visualizations are not the strongest. It's difficult to get buy-in from our more creative staff in the office who like to see 'prettier' charts and graphs. This is important to some people and so it's been a bit of a struggle from time to time. **Recommendations to others considering Klipfolio:** Don't hesitate to give it a go, there is a strong community built around Klipfolio and you'll be able to get the support you need to make the most of it. Connecting Google Sheets or Excel Data is a breeze. **What problems is Klipfolio solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I mentioned it's been quite nice to have multiple data sources come in under one roof and to be able to visualize that data rather than leave it stuck in a spreadsheet. ### 9.
