Underwhelming results - slow movers **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Oliver D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2021 **Describe the project or task KlientBoost helped with:** KlientBoost was hired to take full control of PPC, Paid Social and website optimisation. **What do you like best about KlientBoost?** Bobby, our account manager was very good and clearly very knowledgeable. He also introduced us to Google Optimize and we did see some good wins from this. **What do you dislike about KlientBoost?** The ads put up by KB struggled to perform as well as those set up by our previous agency. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of creative that the team put together to test and trial - and it wasn't until month 5 that new creative was finally implemented by the KB team, up until this point they just recycled old creative from our previous agency. The ad creative which was presented to us in month 1 was shockingly bad, so bad in fact that even their senior team who were brought into the mix to try and turn things around admitted it so. After protestations from myself, we were moved to a different team. One would hope that at this point, with the big guns involved, a new team in place, and a focus on turning our account around that they would dig deep and get the ship sailing again, however it took a further 4 months before we received replacement creative. We were hopeful that this would be groundbreaking but it was quite literally just an old product render on a coloured background (not even our brand colours) with some average copy. During this time our ad creative was fatiguing and ROAS did at times struggle. We experienced a few other issues whereby e.g. wrong ads were shown in wrong markets and our main territory had its Google ads turned off entirely for an entire week, and things generally moved very slow - e.g. we discussed setting up Reddit ads but 6 weeks later our contract ended and we still had not run a single ad on this platform. **Recommendations to others considering KlientBoost:** You need to be prepared that things might take a very long time to get actioned - KB are not fast movers, in our experience. This is evidenced by a number of things that happened at a l sloth like pace, e.g. it taking almost 4 months for replacement ad creative, waited 6 weeks for Pinterest ad account to go live. KB have themselves grown very quickly as an agency and this is something they are very open about, and so we wonder if, in our case, this is why we experienced such bad results. **What problems is KlientBoost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Whilst we did see some wins the biggest issue is that in the duration we were with KB almost no creative was tested; if it had not been for the ads that had been set up by our previous agency we would have likely run into some serious problems. My experience with other agencies has always been that creative is king and there is a huge emphasis on getting new creative out the door and tested.
