Klientboost boost strategy led to worse results **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024 **What do you like best about KlientBoost?** They seemed to have pretty robust systems, in terms of tracking and communication. **What do you dislike about KlientBoost?** Klientboost spent 2 weeks developing a strategy, which was essentially wasting away my monthly investment with them. The delivered strategy actually have a negative affect on all of my KPIs, including revenue, ROAS, # of Purchase, Converstion Rate, and Cost Per Acquisition. The deliverables I received for the creative package I paid for was text overlayed photos that I had from a photoshoot. The creatives were incredibly basic and rudimentary, and lacked any creativity. **Recommendations to others considering KlientBoost:** Look elsewhere. Klientboost did a completely bait and switch. They had showed charts of increasing metrics after establishing a 30 day baseline, but failed to mention that they would actually be lowered my metrics during the first 30 days, in order to easily achieve their 20% increase in performance. Very unethical. **What problems is KlientBoost solving and how is that benefiting you?** I engaged with Klientboost with the goal of improving the performance of my ecommerce brand through PPC optomizations on Meta and Google platforms. ### 2. Big Mistakes - Didn't have Conversion Tracking Enabled For First 20 Days of Management Among Others **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Joel J. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022 **Describe the project or task KlientBoost helped with:** We hired Klientboost in January of 2022 to help our company manage google ads. **What do you like best about KlientBoost?** The sales team or growth strategist that is the person who works with you till you sign the contract. Grant was extremely sharp, very data driven and was able to answer some of the basic questions we had on how they manage accounts **What do you dislike about KlientBoost?** The management of google ads. When we came on board as a customer we were excited. We met the team we were assigned and even though the account manager was new (started 3 months prior) we thought the google ads person on our team was credible. We did the onboarding where we explained about our company and gave them our marketing and branding materials and trusted them to set up and manage accounts. We got biweekly updates from our account manager where she always assured us our ads were doing well. Unknown to us KB had not set up conversion tracking for the first 20 days that they ran ads for us. For reference, we spent 10k a on google ads on top of KB's 6k per month management fee. More horrifying was the fact that it took 2.5 months for them to acknowledge that they had set up the account incorrectly. My personal belief is that the people mean well, but the company has grown too fast and there's a lot of inexperience. The company claims to have a culture of underpromising and over delivering - however I found it to be more of a saying as they consistently underdelivered and missed deadlines that they promised. I strongly recommend getting everything said to you in paper or over email as they will renege on promises (again not because they are bad people but I think they are juggling you with too many clients). Another example - they built our landing page for our campaign. The landing pages didn't mention any of the keywords we were advertising for - it looked like a generic website in our industry. This was a big red flag. When we asked why this was the case, we were told to trust them as they were experts. This is all separate from their performance managing the account - because of their irresponsible management our cost per conversion actually increased with KB compared to when we managed it in-house as beginners. I would not trust them with your account. If you are looking for experts to trust with your google ads look else where. **Recommendations to others considering KlientBoost:** Stay away from KB - we chose them because of their amazing reviews. Recent reviews are worse. **What problems is KlientBoost solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking to hire experts in Google ads that we could trust and could supplement our team as we grew our SAAS company. ### 3. These campaigns were focused on Facebook and Google, but KlientBoost also launched campaigns on LinkedIn on our behalf. **What do you like best about KlientBoost?** Our main point of contact was a very nice individual, but that's the only positive I can report. **What do you dislike about KlientBoost?** Where do I start? Our KlientBoost team brought virtually no proactive strategy to the table, and they ended up just being lever pullers that followed the strategy we developed internally and delivered to them. Once we relegated them to project managers, we thought they would excel in basic campaign management but that was not the case. We had to follow up multiple times in order to even the smallest of changes implemented. This resulted in tens of thousands of media dollars wasted. Overall, we came to see that their business model is to sell a lot of promise, underdeliver, and hope their clients are not smart enough to press them for answers. I truly cannot say enough bad things about this company—I would not recommend them to anyone. **What problems is KlientBoost solving and how is that benefiting you?** We attempted to generate qualified marketing-qualified leads using KlientBoost's services, but they were highly ineffective at accomplishing that. ### 4. Little to no communication between team members. I often found myself repeating answers, and they didn't provide a few deliverables from our contract. Including the entire setup of our CRM platform. I followed up many times but was left with nothing. They also pressured me into lying about our performance in the ads in order to try to improve performance. The results from our engagement were worse than any freelancer I've ever worked with, and they went over budget by 17%. **Recommendations to others considering KlientBoost:** Avoid at all cost. My campaign performance did not improve. I also was not able to step away from managing the PPC because KB could not adequate create the right offers and landing pages. We never even got close to being to analyze conversions at the keyword level. **Recommendations to others considering KlientBoost:** Do not recommend. KlientBoost failed to achieve their objectives and failed to provide a positive ROI after 3 months.. **What problems is KlientBoost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to improve PPC performance.
