"Impeccable Security and Code Analysis, with Potential for Improvement in Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

What we value most about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights is its ease of integration within the DevSecOps cycle, allowing for continuous and early SAST analysis of business applications. It particularly stands out for the clarity of the results, the prioritization of vulnerabilities, and the way the tool helps teams understand and remediate findings without friction. Additionally, the coverage of multiple languages, security and quality-oriented reports, and centralized visibility of code status allow us to make better decisions in terms of security and maintainability. Finally, the support from the Kiuwan team and their focus on a robust solution for our business environment is highly appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

Kiuwan Code Security & Insights is a solid tool, however, it could improve in the in-depth customization of certain reports, especially for executive audiences or specific governance and compliance needs. Additionally, when integrating with SSO, it generates connection issues that require users to clear the browser cache or switch browsers to log in again. Native integrations with work management tools and platforms could also be expanded further, and it would be an improvement to implement DAST and not just SAST. Another point that could be improved is the ability to analyze not only source code but also compiled files, such as DLLs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Elevated our software security to the next level. Improved our code quality."

What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

Its user-friendly interface makes the dashboard very easy to use. We are highly satisfied with the findings from the code scans and the reporting capabilities. One of the reasons we chose Kiuwan is its strong focus on confidentiality. We are also very pleased with customer relations and after-sales support. For this reason, we extended our license and will continue working with Kiuwan for another year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kiuwan For The Win"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

The simplicity of adding it to our Azure DevOps Build Pipelines (classic and yaml), via their AzDO Pipeline extension. Nothing to manually install or configure on our build agents. Just add the task, and it handles everything. Works great for private or hosted agents.

The scope of what's scanned is also outstanding.

Finally, the level of customization is excellent. Works great with the default settings, but you can tweak it as much as you need to fit your environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

I wish its Build Pipeline extension for Azure DevOps would show something like a result summary or link to the results. They DO have a Build Pipeline Task extension, which makes adding it to your pipelines easy, but to see the results, you have to navigate to their web dashboard manually. "Kiuwan is very easy to get started and very effective in identifying vulnerabilities."
5/5
What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

The flexibility of the architecture and integration capabilities into both CI/CD and IDE's. Another great feature is the example of a code vulnerability and how to fix it. From a capacity planning perspective, creating an action plan based on developer capacity is really productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
