What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

Its user-friendly interface makes the dashboard very easy to use. We are highly satisfied with the findings from the code scans and the reporting capabilities. One of the reasons we chose Kiuwan is its strong focus on confidentiality. We are also very pleased with customer relations and after-sales support. What do you dislike about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

What problems is Kiuwan Code Security & Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for static application security testing, where it scans the code statically and quickly identifies security vulnerabilities. The reports clearly indicate which vulnerabilities exist and on which specific lines of code, which provides us with significant benefits in the remediation process. What do you like best about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

The simplicity of adding it to our Azure DevOps Build Pipelines (classic and yaml), via their AzDO Pipeline extension. Nothing to manually install or configure on our build agents. Just add the task, and it handles everything. Works great for private or hosted agents.

The scope of what's scanned is also outstanding.

Finally, the level of customization is excellent. Works great with the default settings, but you can tweak it as much as you need to fit your environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kiuwan Code Security & Insights?

I wish its Build Pipeline extension for Azure DevOps would show something like a result summary or link to the results. They DO have a Build Pipeline Task extension, which makes adding it to your pipelines easy, but to see the results, you have to navigate to their web dashboard manually. What problems is Kiuwan Code Security & Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?

BTW, Kiuwan….had a nice win last week. Monday morning, Our CIO drops a high priority, need this now for a RFP, email looking for a pretty “code smell” document on some of our projects. Quickly kicking off new Kiuwan baseline runs and exporting Code Analysis Summary PDF’s… pow, Kiuwan was the hero! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The flexibility of the architecture and integration capabilities into both CI/CD and IDE's. Another great feature is the example of a code vulnerability and how to fix it.
