The equipment arrived quickly and was straightforward to install. We also have the tailgating camera package, and it has been a game changer for my fitness facility. It’s easy to use, and I love the video clips it provides. **What do you dislike about Kisi?** I really wish Kisi offered a check-in screen for my gym members. I use the readers at both my front desk and a 24-hour access door. It works great at the 24-hour door, but when I’m staffed and the main doors are open, there’s no screen that gives me a clear red/green indicator to confirm whether a client is good to enter or not. This would be a really helpful feature, but neither Kisi nor the gym software I integrate with currently provides it. The pricing feels a little high to me for the software and the tailgating integration, but it didn’t stop me from moving forward. Lastly, I have a lot of users who have issues with the app for opening the door. It’s almost always a phone-related problem, but most people struggle with the tap option, and some have trouble getting it to work regardless of their location or Bluetooth settings. I often find we have to turn people’s phones off or put them on airplane mode to reset it. That’s an inconvenience when I have members who want to get in 24 hours a day, and not all of them are tech-savvy. **What problems is Kisi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wanted an option that would let people use their cell phones to access the space. It’s solving that issue for me overall, but I still have some members running into problems. The onboarding call was thorough and clear, and the key performance indicators for gym usage are helpful. **What do you dislike about Kisi?** One issue we've experienced with Kisi is the reliability of the proximity unlocking feature. On one occasion, a client was trying to gain access, but the app repeatedly displayed a message saying they were "too far away" from the reader, despite them being stood directly next to the door. For a door access system, reliability is essential, so we'd like to see the proximity feature become more consistent. **What problems is Kisi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kisi has helped us improve the security and management of our building by giving us greater control over who can access the premises and when. It's convenient and easy because most people already have their phones, so they don't have to worry about carrying a key fob to enter the building. I also like that I can access Kisi anywhere as long as I have an Internet connection, which lets me make updates to the account even if I'm away from the facility. If a member needs to get in or if someone is servicing my gym equipment, they can call me, and I can open the door for them. **What do you dislike about Kisi?** I wish there was a customer service line for paying customers to talk with a real person instead of just AI. It feels like there's no human connection since Kisi operates solely online. I don't like the setup process; it was very challenging because I didn't know how to use Zapier, so I had to hire someone to do it for me. Also As the owner it would be nice to have the ability to open the door when I am not there with my phone. Only for the owner and approved accounts. **What problems is Kisi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Kisi to let members access my gym with their phones, eliminating the need for key fobs. Additionally, syncing Kisi with OfficeRnD to manage access based on memberships works really well. **What do you dislike about Kisi?** The intercom system and hardware could be finicky at times. It would also be nice to have multiple admins have access and the ability to respond to door rings instead of it being limited to a single device. **What problems is Kisi solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Kisi to manage coworking space access, allowing 24/7 access and easier remote management. Also, it is convenient to have the ability to unlock doors from my mobile device. **What problems is Kisi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to access the entire building with my phone. Before we had Kisi, someone had to be in the office and hand them a physical key card and then make sure to get that back before they left town. With Kisi, we feel more secure! **What do you dislike about Kisi?** When the WiFi goes out, people have a hard time getting in and out of our building! We also had some issues between the building technology and Kisi technology. For a while Kisi wasn't working and we had a challenging time figuring out the issue. (because it's an older building). We also have a few employees that don't use smart phones, so they still have to use a physical key card. **Recommendations to others considering Kisi:** Great for everyone on the same page and offices that are constantly in flux! Should your space lose access to the internet, Kisi supports two fallback mechanisms for unlocking doors or elevators: Offline cache on the reader: with offline caching for credentials, Kisi allows users to unlock doors even without internet connectivity. Offline cache on the phone: with mobile data enabled on your phone, the Kisi reader will receive a certificate from your phone through Bluetooth or NFC to unlock the door. ### 9.
