They’re very responsive and genuinely supportive, which gives me peace of mind. I feel the team consistently strives to deliver the best customer experience and will keep enhancing and improving everything over time. **What do you dislike about Kintsugi?** (1) Right now, I have to navigate to each state individually to download the return and payment report, which is very inefficient. A bulk download option would save a lot of time. (2) Also, beyond the returns, there are various payments Kintsugi made on our behalf, but there is no supporting backup or reporting available. A monthly, state-by-state report showing what was paid for that month in each state—such as prepayments, license fees, interest and penalties, or vendor compensation—would help us update our accounting records more accurately. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched from Avalara to Kintsugi in March, and we received tax notices from various states due to some delayed or overlapping filings during the transition. The team has been helpful in reaching out to the tax departments to get these issues resolved. From the March to June filings, we also found Kintsugi’s filings to be much more accurate than Avalara’s. In addition, there were refund cheques sent to Kintsugi’s address, and the team helped forward them to our registered office for deposit. **Official Response from Carolyn Hoffner:** > Thank you for taking the time to write this, and love hearing that you've found our customer support team to be responsive and genuinely helpful during your migration and our filings to be much more accurate. The customer support is pretty good - things are actioned timely when we reach out. **What do you dislike about Kintsugi?** We launched kintsugi around the same time we launched new invoicing software and we had a lot of issues. It felt like the size of our organization was a learning curve for kintsugi. Things have much improved now that we have gotten over the hurdles from the beginning. I think the issue of loading past years' data into kintsugi when we had no issues in filings was handled poorly, but has now been resolved. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our tax filings are calculated for us and filed for us which is great for our small accounting team. ### 3. I didn't start a business to worry or learn about taxes, having Kintsugi taking care of that for me is priceless. The onboarding was quick and easy. Now I literally have to push one button to have my taxes filed. **What do you dislike about Kintsugi?** Being all automated it can be hard to receive an answer from a human is something goes wrong but so far I didn't have any problem. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Kintsugi solves the problem of understanding how sale tax work for business owners. Great to see everything visually there. Mail integration can be useful. Having their support when registering has been great and their team has been supportive and responsive. You get a lot without paying the high prices of other solutions. **What do you dislike about Kintsugi?** Lack of netsuite integration or ability to upload transactions manually. I understand the netsuite api is on the roadmap but it would be great to be able to quickly upload sales transactions via a csv or manually until that is ready instead of requesting the Kintsugi team to upload them. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sales tax compliance, registrations, and filings. Please fix this. I dont want to sign a 18 month contract with avalara. **What problems is Kintsugi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sales tax compliance ### 6.
