What do you like best?

I went from a dedicated server at Heart Internet to Kinsta and the speed increase was just incredible. I didn't realise how quick Wordpress could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

There is so much to like. First off, the migration process is very smooth. I used a managed migration for a client recently and had excellent communications with the staff of Kinsta, who saw me through all issues in a timely and professional manner. I also very much like the clean UI that enables me to clear the cache, set up HTTPS, enjoy daily backups, and more. The messaging functionality is excellent, so customer service is always just a click away, and the staff is super responsive. I have tried MediaTemple, Pantheon, and other hosts, and am happy to have found with Kinsta a long-term home for myself and my clients. Finally, the pricing is extremely fair and competitive, with plans for every level of individual, business, enterprise needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have been able to solve the issues I encountered at Pantheon, due to their dashboard downtime, the convoluted process of updating WordPress and plugins, and the need to edit wp-config.php to account for plugins that require write access to the uploads directory. Kinsta provides a cleaner Live and Dev setup. If I do deep development, I can always set up a Dev server, then push to Live. Normally though, I can edit the live site directly, with immediate results. Also, Kinsta's blog is an excellent resource for learning more about best practices in WordPress design and development. What do you like best?

Their speed is top-notch, and the support is great. I have a website that goes above the average WordPress website. I have custom plugins, custom page URLs, and custom interworking that make my site unique. The Kinsta team has worked hard to make sure my website is live all the time, which allows me to do development without the hassle of server work. I just dealt with the team about setting up custom server rules to integrate cached geolocation into my website so every time a client goes to my website, it makes them a custom experience tailored to their location. Their team created custom rules to my configuration to do a full integration so my site is lightning fast. As a business owner/programmer, I don't know what I'd do without them. I tried doing self-managed hosting for a while, but Kinsta has made it easy to do what I do best. Worth every penny. Thanks for the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't have any dislikes. Any time I have a problem, I contact their 24 hour support and I have a dedicated support agent that fixes it in 10-20 minutes. It's really nice having support like when I need caching disabled so my developers could fix a problem through live-editing. What do you like best?

Great performance and features with all plans including but not limited to Redis cahce, CDN, APM via NewRelic, automatic backups.

Staging Environments - The ability to preview/stage changes and updates to your site and easily be able to promote/push those changes to production is also very nice.

Migration services - I also like that they provide free migration services with most plans which were very helpful for preparing to transition from our previous hosting provider.

Customer Service - Their customer service was excellent and very responsive. We had issues with a legacy site that was developed by a 3rd party vendor with a very 'non-standard' structure/setup and they were able to get the site migrated and up and running very quickly. What do you dislike?

So far we haven't found any issues with their services. We're starting to look into how to best integrate our DevOps process with Kinsta hosting and promoting code/content through lower environments through production. Fast and reliable web hosting with responsive customer support. We're looking for a platform that is architected for performance, scale, and security and provides a management interface that is user-friendly and intuitive. What do you like best?

Kinsta has hit the perfect pitch for us, as previously our websites had either been on cheap, slow and frustrating hosting, or were costing more than their revenues justified on the likes of AWS or WPEngine. Not only was the price/speed of Kinsta ideal, but the ease-of-use of the service has been a revelation. Support has been great, and everything has just worked, which is important when you don't have a dedicated IT function at a small company. What do you dislike?

I've yet to find a major problem. Had a couple of issues with a migration but support ironed those out swiftly, so what felt like a potential negative ended up being a positive experience - especially when compared to previous experiences elsewhere! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

There are many upsides to using Kinsta hosting. Everything is easily accessible and understandable via the Kinsta dashboard. Customer service via dashboard chat is quick to respond, clear, kind, and even fun! Every tool you need is in reach with a fantastic UI. Our website speed is super fast, far superior to our previous web hosting service. Lastly, security is solid. It just feels reassuring to keep our website under the care of Kinsta. What do you like best?

Kinsta is the best managed WordPress host in history! The performance of their revolutionary uses a mix of Nginx, PHP 7, LXD software containers, and MariaDB to make your WordPress website performance super fast. In terms of features, Kinsta offers daily backups and easy integration with KeyCDN among many others. Their support is unmatched - they have alerted me to issues with my website before I even knew about them. What do you like best?

Without a doubt, the CDN was the factor to switch for us. It was only after that we realized how little maintenance was needed to keep the site running at peak performance.

The ability to use a staging environment is very helpful.

Migration of our sites was fast and efficient. Yes, there were a few pages where custom css had to be migrated separately but this is normal and should be expected no matter what platform you use. The great part of it was in how versatile the Kinsta platform was to both recognize and migrate with accuracy 99.9% of our sites overall with only a modicum of adjustments. Performance was the key here. The CDN was a game-changer for us. The ability to run in an isolated environment to perform updates and changes that we can see running in a staged environment before pushing to production servers is a tremendous benefit. We no longer need to copy a site to another server, update it then bring it back to the production server each time. The staged environment allows this to be done smoothly and efficiently. Blazzing fast websites using latest technologies.

24h support thru chat with experienced support agents is a great plus.

Homemade backoffice user friendly and quick to load. It's a boom!

What do you like best?

There are many website hosting providers out there that provide the same services, but Kinsta goes one step further and provides the most amazing Customer Support! Each agent is knowledgable and will walk you through every step needed to help with your support issue. Their online knowledge base is filled with step by step answers to many common issues. What do you dislike?

At the moment absolutely nothing...well maybe I have to wait more than 1 minute for a Customer Support agent, but rarely anything longer. When you need to contact someone at Customer Support it is usually an important issue so having to wait 1 minute can seem like an eternity but in reality they are really quick at getting back to you with helpful answers and links to step by step knowlege base documents. What do you like best?

The support that Kinsta provides is second to none. Before Kinsta, I was using a different hosting service, one that I was not satisfied with due to lack of support and costs. So I transitioned to Kinsta after reading some reviews, and I'm so glad I did. I know have two websites hosted by Kinsta and I have not had any negative experiences. It's easy to set up a staging site to test and perform updates. Kinsta's ability to restore from backups is incredibly easy, too. The dashboard and interface are easy to navigate, and their customer service is fantastic! Representatives always answer within minutes whenever I've had an inquiry or question. What do you dislike?

Having a way to call and talk live with people for complicated tasks or troubleshooting complicated issues would be good. There have been times when I've needed to do something more complicated and it was difficult reading the chatbox (and interpreting) what to do and/or scrolling through articles that may or may not answer my question. What do you like best?

Easy migration from previous supplier and really excellent online support. I run a Wordpress website and their integration, knowledge and support for all things Wordpress is an outstanding feature for me.Often in the past I've had issues and problems getting a response where I've had issues. Kinsta is providing a totally reliable hosting solution. With Kinsta when I do have a question I can get online support in seconds, no matter what the question is. I tried a few hosts before for our edtech platform and had experienced performance issues with each one. I eventually landed on Kinsta, and this has genuinely been a set-and-forget solution allowing you to focus on your business. My students have had zero performance issues to date. It is more expensive than some other solutions, though when running an internet business and performance and customer service is crucial to success, it's a small premium to pay.

What do you like best?

It's really hard to pick one thing. The hosting is fast and comes with so many additional things that my previous hosting provider didn't provide. What I really like best is the service though. Any time I use the Kinsta chat, I get an answer to my question or problem almost immediately. Here are a few of the problems that I have had as an example. Is it safe to upgrade to php 8? Can I move my data center? I even made a very stupid mistake with my redirects and they quickly figured out the problem and the solution. I guess the service is what I like best. This might be a tough question. I really haven't come across anything that I dislike. I guess maybe sometimes the kinsta blog is a little more technical, I would like it better if they wrote more for someone without a technical background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Free migration service is awesome. I had a tough clients website with a lot of data and custom functions. It all worked out very well. There is no question I left in the chat (no matter what time, 24/7) that hasn't been answered in a few minutes. I really like the way they communicate. I don't know how much people are on support but I never have to wait longer then a few minutes. In the middle of the night or during the day. They really handle everything well. What do you like best?

I have honestly spent quite a bit of time testing out different WordPress hosting providers. I am not a website developer, but as a Legal Investigator my website really is my shopfront and includes links to my client's online portal in addition to intake forms and other similar services. To put it bluntly, I really can't afford to have my website down or slow.

I noticed Kinsta about 3 years ago and two features really stood out, the daily backups and assistance in the event the website gets hacked. It isn't until you sign up however that you see how much Kinsta have invested in customers service. Even the basic plan on a month-to-month agreement includes a premium website migration service which for me happend in 3 hours on a Friday night. In my early days, I struggled with finances and Kinsta were fantastic in keeping my website online whilst I negotiated a payment plan.

In releation to the actual service itself, Kinsta don't provide cpanel or other generic platforms. The proprietary dashboard is simple and easy to use, allowing for manual backups, DNS changes, PHP updates and everything else you would need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is one aspect of the Kinsta service that really is missing - email! I remember bringing this up with Kinsta a few years back and was told it was in the pipeline. I really dislike paying Google or MIcrosoft a monthyl fee for a professional email address and it would be great if Kinsta launched a secure or encrypted solution. The proprietary MyKinsta platform includes a very basic analytics tool and it would be great if they added a few extra features such as IP blocking and more reports. What do you like best?

The fast responses when I ask a question. The fact that support employees are willing to help you with a problem even when it's not specific Kinsta who needs to solve it. Also, they take their time to explain things to you and Kinsta has an amazing blog with a lot of helpful content Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes they assume I have the same technical knowledge. On the other hand, when I tell them I don't get what they say the employee explains it until I get it. I don't particularly like that they use NGIX and not Apache, but this is also because I never worked with it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Go with it if you think 24 hour support is important, a easy to use interface and people that know what they are talking about Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Technical problems like:

- Hreflang implementation

- URL structure

- Page speed optimizations

- Test environment that was offline

- They make It easier for me to work on the backend of the website, my previous host had a lot of weird ways for this.

What do you like best?

They good thing is that they offer reliable hosting service. The customer support is good and there is a chat for direct communication on the dashboard. Also the backend is very user friendly. They offer easy back ups and its very simple and easy to create and update a staging site. Also the way they handle user permissions is really good. You can easily add additional users and limit their access privileges with custom permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The main issue is the price and what you get with each plan. The cost is quite high in comparison to other services. So hosting with kinsta can cost you twice as much as other hosts. Also the fact that there is a limitation to only one site on the started plan makes it even more expensive as you cannot use that same hosting plan to share resources for multiple sites. What do you like best?

Kinst is easy to use, and there is almost no maintenance. It takes a few minutes to add any new posts and they look very professional. If there are any issues it is also straightforward to revert to a stable backup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it can lag when adding new posts and there have been issues where pages fail to render properly and there are no error messages to troubleshoot with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Since Kinsta focuses on a specific niche, I believe they are doing a better job than other hosting providers. I can only judge based on my own experience with other services.

I like that they keep up with the latest market trends, combine a great package of services so that I could focus on my business not hosting.

If you can afford it and don't want to think about your hosting, I believe Kinsta is a very good option to go for.

Also, one of the things I love about them is their support - very quick and efficient! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

I used to struggle with installing wp on self-hosted hosting regarding copy/pasting files and always setting up manually throw ssh database or by php myadmin.

Kinsta is so worth it as it's trouble-free and very fast hosting with good CDN. All plugin updates are done regularly by them and setting up and maintaining ssl is super easy.

Must say, kinsta solve support tickets quite fast and usually i solve with support all my problems on chat Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I did not like too much pricing at the start but when i saw how is hustle free and i don't spend time on maintainance, i don't mind it anymore and think is good value Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It was really easy to set up my hosting account, my Wordpress instance and email MX records.

I am not very tech-savvy but it was easy to start and easy to maintain.

The greatest compliment is that I don't have to think about it.
