I just switched to Kinsta Web Hosting, and it's honestly so good. Setting up my site was super easy, and it’s way faster now, which is awesome. But what really blew me away is their customer support—like, they actually reply fast and are super nice about helping with any problems. If you’re thinking about web hosting, I’d totally recommend checking them out. It’s been such a great experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like Kinsta Web Hosting—it’s super reliable and the quality is awesome—but the only thing is it’s a bit pricey. If you’re on a tight budget, that might be an issue. Still, with how good the performance is and how fast their customer support helps out, I think it’s worth it if you care about having something really reliable. Kinsta’s customer support is, hands down, the best I’ve ever experienced! The team is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always goes the extra mile to resolve any issue quickly. Their 24/7 live chat support ensures that no matter when I need assistance, there’s a real expert ready to help. They’ve saved me countless hours and headaches, and I genuinely feel valued as a customer. It’s rare to find such a dedicated and efficient support team in the hosting industry. Honestly, there’s very little to dislike about Kinsta. If I had to nitpick, the premium pricing might not fit everyone’s budget, but the performance, reliability, and outstanding customer support make it worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kinsta is by far the best WordPress hosting provider I've worked with. We've been building WordPress sites for years and have dealt with a number of hosting providers, but the level of service Kinsta gives is unmatched. They've helped us with malware removal, made migrations easy, and of course have one of the best tech stacks out there for hosting. Our websites are protected and perform much better just by using Kinsta. And we know that if an issue comes up with a site, they are already on top of it or can just chat with them. We now use Kinsta for all of our sites - and it's made our services for our clients much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the extra benefits and tools they have require some technical know-how to use. They might be willing to set these things up for us though - we haven't asked yet as the basics of what the platform includes is already leagues above what we've had before. But just something to be aware of or at least ask questions about when joining and reaching out to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like all of the helpful documentation and library of resources. For people like me who enjoy solving their own problems, this is super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Costly if you only need a staging and prod site but aren't pushing tons of users. I do like the auto backup feature, but I don't like how pushing from staging to prod overwrites any blog post comments that might have been left on the prod site. To my knowledge, I haven't seen anyone with a good solution to update things but exclude page or post comments--if you want comments to stay, this might render the whole staging + prod workflow useless.
I thought about making and hosting some pro-bono sites for folks but haven't made the plunge in expanding my Kinsta use due to cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you want to have hosting for WordPress with which you can practically disregard many technical aspects, Kinsta is for you. The hosting is 100% secure, reliable, and easy to implement. The platform is easy, intuitive, and user-friendly. The support is effective and very friendly. It has multiple very useful functions and integrates excellently with WordPress, so it always keeps you informed about risks, updates, and other aspects you should be aware of. If you compare the price of Kinsta with other hosting for WordPress, it may seem somewhat high. However, the time you recover and the stress you free yourself from because of how reliable and effective it is, it's 100% worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Kinsta for almost 5 years, so I have a definitive opinion. From what I remember, the migration was quick and smooth. I loved the speed of the service, the many options included (CDN, Cloudflare, Cache, New Relic, APM...) to diagnose and optimize performance. It is obvious that Kinsta's priority is performance. The choice of Google Cloud servers is complete and allows you to be as close as possible to your main infrastructure.
I have never had a major outage with Kinsta, which has never happened for such a long period of time in my 15 years with other regular managed hosts.
Their interface is also pleasant and complete (although paradoxically it is not always very fast).
The support, for the little that I needed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kinsta's biggest downside is without a doubt its totally crazy and unfair "visit" limitation, especially for small businesses. It's simple: Kinsta gives a ridiculously small limitation, and each time you exceed only 1000 visits costs you $1 (yes, yes!). You will tell me, knowingly, that this is clearly written on their pricing sheet. Yes, but what is not is that Kinsta calculates its visits in an obscure and opaque way. In the end, they count me between 3x and 6x more visits than all the other services that count visits (bots included!). This inevitably results in disproportionate and unfair additional costs, forcing you to change plans (which is sometimes not even profitable!) or change hosts, since they are almost the only ones to impose such a ridiculous limit.
Kinsta's other problem is its limitation of what they call "PHP Workers". They are ridiculously few in number, especially compared to direct competition. This results, for example on an e-commerce that does not receive much traffic, in slowness and more or less frequent errors. They have just released a new feature to arbitrate between more PHP Workers and less PHP memory, but this does not solve the problem because it can cause others (although I appreciate this possible choice).
Ultimately, Kinsta is one of the best Wordpress hosts, but it remains extremely expensive with features inferior to the competition (which is not necessarily less fast). Kinsta's flaws are rare, but they are very penalizing, especially for small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kinsta is an excellent host that stands out for the speed and reliability of its servers. But what I appreciate the most is their customer support: the agents are available very quickly and really take the time to explain and guide. Each interaction with them is clear, educational, and solution-oriented, which is reassuring and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are few things to criticize about Kinsta. However, for beginner users, the cost may seem a bit high at first, but the quality of services and support fully justifies this investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kinsta saved my website. I had created a membership learning management site that was so slow with the previous wordpress hosting company that no one wanted to use it, not to mention the total lack of SEO. While my potential students couldn't find it, the hackers did, and used bots that attempted hundreds of break-ins a day.
Come to the rescue KINSTA! It boosted my site's power for greater speed and helped me relax, secure with their extensive backup system. Not only that, the company also provided the absolute friendliest customer service ever! As an amateur website builder trying to figure things out on my own, they were patient with me and took the time to explain and guide me until I was able to accomplish what I needed. To add frosting to the cake, they have an extensive library of videos that teach you how to do things, which make it so much easier than trying to follow written instructions.
Meanwhile the other hosting company just sent me links to pages on their knowledgebase that were utterly confusing and gave short answers to my questions that made no sense to me.
Thank you, Kinsta! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike, really! It is a bit more expensive than some other hosting companies out there, but the improved performance, security and customer service made it so very worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My business website is hosted on Kinsta.I’m currently on their single WordPress site plan, which offers plenty of bandwidth for my needs.I have ran independent tests (GTX metrix, LightHouse & mxtoolbox) which confirm excellent uptime and fast loading speeds. Still I normally check- in most days to my Woocommerce store to do business : things run smoothly.
The most important thing that I appreciate about Kinsta is the peace of mind it provides. My site is secure, protected from malware, and regularly backed up. I have not hit any server related problems, and so it's a great relief to trust that this just works, without time-wasting problems. All the Wp plugins are easily integrated from inside the Kinsta panel as well as WP admin. BTW, the dashboard itself is good looking and easy to navigate (unlike cPanel = yuck!).
One major advantage is that Kinsta isolates WordPress instances, reducing the risk of "cross-infection." Previously, I had to pay for Sucuri to clean up malware, which ultimately made my supposedly cheap hosting just as expensive as Kinsta. Plus, Kinsta includes helpful features like backups and staging environments, so a double safety net.
The migrating-in process was smooth, handled by actual people instead of an automated plugin. We encountered a minor hiccup with a script/font permission that prevented old PDF receipts from loading correctly, but Kinsta support identified and fixed it manually. I shudder to think how much time I would have wasted trying to fix this with an 'automated' migration. No, this was a true hand-crafted migration that got it done smoothly.
Kinsta’s support has been fantastic. The small issues I’ve encountered - the normal things - have been resolved quickly, and within first contact. Surprisingly, even for a non-coder like me with 20 years of experience building websites, their help documentation explains complex technical topics clearly and in natural English. I like the fact that there’s a policy of ‘We Work Remotely’... One hopes that the support team is well treated... Plus some even have a sense of humor!
I appreciate Kinsta's integrated approach, which streamlines my workflow. WordPress sites can become sluggish due to plugins and other factors, but Kinsta's CDN and server caching have significantly boosted my site's speed. To further optimize performance, I utilized their "Application Performance Monitoring" tool and they have a handy feature that provides direct access to the WordPress bug log, without having to leave the Kinsta dashboard. These tools helped me identify and resolve a few pesky remaining issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I encountered a minor issue with PHP worker limits while testing the new WordPress 6.7 release in the staging environment, but this wasn’t a significant problem as I was only bashing around, evaluating WordPress 6.7 itself, not actively developing a website (which would be a slower process requiring less PHP workers & anyway, Kinsta support provided me with a work-around).
IMO, the only real downside is that Kinsta doesn't do emails. I would have liked an email service provider with my web hosting provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do my own website but don't know anything about coding, etc. and Kinsta has been incredibly useful. The customer service via live chat is amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and also very quick to respond and provide solutions. They will answer my question, provide Support articles showing the steps to follow, and even add code or upload files for me. Automatic backups are useful when I make mistakes. Free staging site has been great to test changes before making them live. User friendly website. Much better experience than with my previous hosting provider. Highly recommend! I've been using Kinsta for almost 4 years and I haven't found anything that I dislike yet! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I switched from another well-known (and expensive) web hosting company to Kinsta. The transfer process was incredibly easy. Free migrations of my websites were included in the deal, and the Kinsta team communicated regularly during the process. The speed of my Kinsta hosting package is incredible. My Google Pagespeed scores are right were they should be, and my visitors get a lightning-fast website load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Kinsta can be quite expensive for an entry-level webmaster. Packages go up in price based on the number of Wordpress installs and site traffic. I'd prefer that cheaper options were available, but as the adage goes: "you get what you pay for." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
