Easy to set up a contest

What do you dislike about KingSumo?

The contest is hosted on their website with no option to host on your own. So, basically the user clicks on the giveaway from your website and is taken off your site to a completely different website they have never heard of.

There is no option to customize or disable the emails they send to your subscribers. These emails have KingSumo branding all over them, and have a very distinct tone that is not a good fit for many brands, yet there is no way to edit them. Additionally, if you don't want to send reminder emails to people who've entered your contest, that's just too bad, you're still stuck with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about KingSumo?

-The price. $0.00 is a fantastic value

-Unlimited email collection is also great

-Easily embed the entry form on my website

-The ability to offer bonus entries for specific actions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KingSumo?

-You can't collect the names of those entering, which makes personalization impossible. I would pay for this if it was part of a paid plan/upgrade.

-VERY limited integration with third party email vendors. I understand the limit for the free version but if I'm going to pay anything, I want the option to integrate with my preferred vendor

-KingSumo shows their own TOS and then I have to show mine. This leads to a poor experience for those entering the giveaways/contests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
