What do you like best about Kindertales?

Easy to manage multiple sites in one online database, the ability to check attendance at real time, being able to see incident reports quickly, and to be able to communicate individually, in groups, or all parents at once. What do you dislike about Kindertales?

inability to control features such as: CRM messaging, late fees, and some finance applications. Inability to separate the waitlist for different locations instead of just one. Inability to see enrollment in separate programs (AM vs PM), and see the list in last name alphabetical order instead of first name alphabetical order. "Kindertales Team Made the Difference"

What do you like best about Kindertales?

There were some significant growing pains with initially using that were more user error than processes or a function of Kindertales. Our staff and faculty needed signifcant training and hand holding. Kindertales team were patient, thorough and pleasant at all times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kindertales?

As with any software/application that is not customized, it does not meet every need of ours but again, with their team's help, we have been able to make it a wonderful resource for our school and parents. It would be extremely valuable to have the app be able to send notifications to mobile devices that are emergent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kindertales:

Making the move to Kindertales was not an easy one but highly worth it. Our issues were mainly on our side, not Kindertales. Our staff has a difficult time with technology and change. What problems is Kindertales solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Kindertales we are now up to date with technology. Everything is stored in one place and we can easily track certain things. The ability to communicate with parents right from the app is so convenient for both admin and teachers. In my opinion, it has made my job easier in certain aspects. It has benefited our program in many ways, including organization, communication, and also keeping our finances all in one place which makes life so much easier. What do you like best about Kindertales?

The Customer Service team is very responsive and willing to assist in any task whether big or small. If there is a feature that can not get up immediately they will provide a way to propose a new feature to corporate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They run their finance reports through stripe and they aren't always accurate. There are a few occasions that we need to follow up on amounts reflecting wrong. Also, the Messenger feature does not always execute sending messages correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kindertales solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have some issues with utilizing the incident/accident forms. I believe that it is a law in some states and provinces that children's reports must be signed on-site by the guardian. Messaging seems very clunky and difficult to use. Many of our parents and staff are never sure if messages are recieved. This has lead to a lot of confusion. Also Billing module is not very intuitive and has been difficult to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in one"

What do you like best about Kindertales?

The app is great as it can do alot.

Parents can set up their payment method, and don't have to worry about payments being late. They can fill out their forms and see what their child is doing throughout the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kindertales?

Sometimes when Kindertales makes changes to the app, we do not always get a notification for it. We see the changes when we use the app, which is every day.

The communication with support has improved. When we first started using the app, we were not getting issues soluted for a couple of months, now it takes a day, a couple of days or a week or so, depending on the urgency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kindertales solving and how is that benefiting you?

Always working on payment issues, glitches with payments and subsidy differences, as we had outstanding balances continue to accumulate on their own and Kindertales was able to fix it within the day.

Our ongoing issue is parents having issues with adding banking to Kindertales as their bank information is not going through or parents saying they are not able to respond to teachers' messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
