What do you like best about KiCad EDA?

The best things about KiCad is that it is open-source, easy to learn, and easy to find libraries for novel components. It supports Schematic, PCB, and 3d designing which makes it an all in one EDA software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside is that the download size is very huge. Also, unlike other EDA that I use, it doesn't have the best UX. A library of user-contributed footprints would make the application much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
