## Khan Academy Reviews
  ### 1. Great Resource for Math Education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

One of the greatest educational tools out there! Challenging questions | Engaging delivery | Helpful tutorials | Easy to use | Ease to assign and track work for educators.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

It's usually 4 questions after each topic and that's not always enough to demonstrate mastery. Wish there were more formal assessment options for educators.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping students sharpen their math skills. Equipping me as an educator as I support my math students.

  ### 2. Next Stop Learning - Khan Academy !!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayushi P. | Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy is an online educational platform that offers people access to a wealth of learning materials. The best features of Khan academy are -

Cost Effective – The best part about Khan academy is it’s free! This makes it much more cost effective than most traditional forms of education which can often be quite expensive.

Diverse Learning Materials– With over 60 million users, there are countless resources available for students on Khan academy covering multiple topics from math to science and history.

Building Self-Confidence – Because you can work at your own pace, learn from scratch or just revise what you already know in order to build up confidence before taking exams.

Flexible Learning Schedule– On top of being able to set our own pace, many courses also offer adaptive tools like quizzes so learners can choose how they want their learning journey structured

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

While it has been praised for its ability to provide students with access to quality education, it also has some disadvantages.

Lack Of Personalization: One drawback of using the Khan Academy platform is that there is no personalization offered when creating study plans or accessing materials needed for classes.

Low Support System : Lastly sometimes I myself experienced technical issues due system bugs which were not resolved swiftly.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core, Khan Academy provides an avenue for people — particularly those from lower-income households — to access high quality instruction and content regardless of location or financial means.
The issue being addressed by Khan Academy lies mainly around extended access to higher level subjects typically found only available at universities or expensive private tutors due to lack of affordability thus making them inaccessible.

  ### 3. Its a great free learning experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ethan P. | Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan academy Helps understand and practice challenging topics in ways you see fit for yourself. It also gives you flexibility on the content that you learn. Making it useful for education.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

One thing that I don't like about Khan Academy s that its actions and courses that it provides are not too interactive meaning that there isn't that much activities that help enhance or practice general topics.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy Helps us give out assignments that are based on all topics and with the ability to easily track the minutes of practice times, it can easily be used as a way to assign homework

  ### 4. Khan Academy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Everything! Khan Academy is a plethora of resources and courses for everyone from elementary to college prep. It gives a thorough explanation in short mini-videos and then short practice assignments to determine mastery. My students love it because there are only 4 questions in each skill activity and they can go back and watch the videos as many times as they need to.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The most frustrating feature is when you are trying to add a new student to an already existing class. It is not easy giving the new student the existing assignments. They don't automatically go to the new student. This doesn't work well...yet.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't always have time to teach my students in-depth Grammar lessons, but I can assign them the Grammar course and give the lessons as bell ringers to complete in the first 10 minutes of class. It touches on all things Grammar for middle and high school so it is thorough.

  ### 5. Powerful instruction, tailored to student needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W. | 3rd grade teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

The ability to assign lessons/ see progress

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

User interface for teachers is not intuitive. It creates a learning curve for creating assignments and monitoring progress.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My classroom operates on mutual trust and accountability. I have third grade students at a variety of competencies. While I do create my own student paced assignments, Khan allows me to empower students to go outside the scope and sequence of our classroom curriculum and make great use of their time.

  ### 6. Khan Academy is essential in today's classroom!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KATHRYN P. | Classroom Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

What I like best about Khan Academy is it is self-paced learning. I can assign lessons that go with our math curriculum, and students can complete them during intervention time or at home.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There is nothing I dislike about Khan Academy. The lessons go perfectly with our math curriculum, and my 3rd-grade students love getting rewards for completing their Khan Academy lessons.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I am solving with Khan Academy is filling in gaps in learning. Many of my students need interventions, and at Khan Academy, I can find lessons that help fill in those learning gaps.

  ### 7. Succeed Your Education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel F. | Food Service Worker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I like the fact that they have every subject you can think of., They have everything Albert Einstein could have thought of. It is a friendly tool and my feedback is to make sure when using them, be sure to read the instructions and title of the video and steps. Every subject in Math is different. Math is very broad and wide, so you want to ensure this is the right training you take. Try to see if it is close to what your teachers/ professors teach you. There are various methods of solving problems. So as long as you understand the subject, that is what matters. If your teacher says you solved the problem but did not show the work your teacher instructed, then refer to Khan academy. This will cover your end.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I do not dislike anything about this. This program has ensured I further my education. This program has guided me to excel in life and I am honored I utilized their services.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't recall ever having a problem. You can take all courses for free, so I never had to call customer service to solve a problem. This has been the best software.

  ### 8. Khan Academy is an awesome teacher tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke B. | Substitute Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

As a substitute teacher, Khan Academy has been a game changer. I use Khan Academy all the time with my students, which range from grades Kindergarten to 5th grade. Teachers often need me to explain or teach topics to their students that I am not completely familiar with. When this happens, I turn to Khan Academy to help me understand what I will be teaching that day. A lot of times, I show the initial video to the entire class so that we can learn or review the topic together. When they finish their work for the day, I always send my students to Khan Academy so that they continue practicing. It is a great tool that helps my students continue learning and that I can always trust will lead them in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There are no downsides to Khan Academy in my opinion. I have been using it for many years and have had zero issues with the videos and other educational tools Khan Academy offers.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I am solving with Khan Academy is not knowing enough about a topic to teach it. As a substitute teacher, I teach a wide range of topics, many that I am not familiar with. I use the Khan Academy videos and practice tools to review subjects for myself as well as help my students learn or review topics. Khan Academy also gives me activities that I can assign my students once they finish their original work. They always enjoy playing around on Khan and seeing all that they can learn.

  ### 9. Clean, Intuitive, Effective Instruction

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew G. | Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy does a wonderful job of replicating instruction/tutoring as if on a Blackboard. Students can follow along as the instructor writes out problems and solutions. This seems much more effective than just having the text already typed out. It's more personal, and meets both visual and auditory learners, while keeping a good pace of instruction.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There's not much to dislike. Possibly sharing out specific topics to students, rather than a whole lesson, but still, fairly easy to do.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

You can use their website and give full lessons to students, or just a specific topic. If you want to be even more targeted, you can share just the YouTube video. For Adult Ed users, they may not be as interested in the "mastery points" (though they might!) and instead just need focused lessons like Punnett Squares and exponents.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While Khan Academy is more targeted to K-12, it also works wonderfully for Adult Education. Whenever a student gets stuck on a particularly sticky topic, I send them over to Khan Academy for review.

  ### 10. Great for virtual learners or for extra tutoring!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Having videos, examples, and then problems that you can work through (with feedback) is all so helpful!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I wish that there were some extra practice problems. Sometimes it just isn't enough.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When students miss class, it's very easy to assign a lesson. Or if a student is struggling in class, they can go home and watch the lesson for extra review.

  ### 11. Incredible free resource

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

The exercises for students target specific skills and help build student confidence and let them know if they are on track. So much better than worksheets as students get instant feedback on their answers and so they cannot cement wrong procedures. It's also great you can assign students a very specific exercise or video that they are struggling on to review. Students like that they earn points and can upgrade their avatars as well.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The videos leave a bit to be desired in terms of watchability, but for a free resource, they're fabulous. They are typically a whiteboard being written on with a pen and a person talking over it. Students can get bored of this pretty quickly, but they're clear and the content is great, and again, it's free!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping students independently practice math/grammar skills. Students can be self starters and explore areas of interest with guided lessons. The resources also aid in flipped lessons where teachers assign videos to watch for homework previewing the content and then the practice is completed in class when the teacher can better assist.

  ### 12. This is the best website EVER! I love it helped me in my math when I didn't understand the question!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

That Sal Is literally the best person to explain things to me when I don't understand sometimes. I would recommend this website to parents who sometimes their kids don't understand a certain subject. If you have time, sit them down at the computer, and put them a on a video for the subject that they don't understand, and BOOM! At least a couple of weeks you will see their grades improve by watching Khan Academy. I hope this helps everyone!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Nothing at all! This website is great! I love it!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hard Crap

  ### 13. Great tool for virtual/distant learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I love how Khan Academy keeps track of student work and percentages. Also, the simplicity of the whole design/program. Very user friendly. Easily assign work to the whole group or specific students.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I wish there was a fast forward option on videos/lessons only in teacher mode. So we could skip around to see if we want to use it but students could not.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

I recommend using Khan Academy as a supplemental tool, or as an introduction to lessons. It’s also great for differentiating by choosing different grade levels for each student or choosing which lessons to assign in the same grade level.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love how easy it makes differentiation. Based on students scores, assessments and other work I can pick which lessons are appropriate and when when a student can move on or be assigned the next work.

  ### 14. Learning is always free.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tripti J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

It is a great website because it provides free books on many subjects. I studied maths over here but there are other different courses that are helpful. It is easy to learn here, it also provides a good teacher and video lectures for free. Sign up is a very easy process.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Some high-level courses are not present here, Sometimes I am not able to comprehend what they were teaching.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

I really like this platform, it helps to learn many courses. It helps me to speed up college-level maths. Everyone should try it once.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am in highschool, Khan Academy has been a lifesaver for me in my homework and I am still using it sometimes for maths problems and it really helps me a lot.

  ### 15. A great interactive tool for studying

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey S. | Registered Nurse, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I love how in tune the speakers are with their audience. They were a lifesaver for me during nursing school! I am a visual learner, so their interactive chalkboard was extremely useful!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I really can’t think of anything. I rave about this website. Seriously!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my Anatomy and Biology classes in college. Every single one of my Nursing Classes when I studied. It was the only thing that stuck in my mind. Makes studying less of a tedious process.

  ### 16. Snippet learning topics, with ease of understanding at any level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Learning pace.. broad topic areas.. categorization

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Needs a front-end profile to guide through multiple topics..

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Continue to explore full capability.. broad and very useable

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classroom education prep..

  ### 17. A whole world of learning at your fingertips

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio R. | Elementary School Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Sometimes I will just watch Khan Academy videos for my own enrichment, it is very soothing to watch as someone teaches or explains a concept and demonstrates right before my eyes. I have been using Khan Academy for years and am impressed with the features that get added. I use it in my classroom, with my own children, and for myself.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I think the app needs some work. They have made a lot of improvements to the coaching model but could still use some better tracking.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

It's not a silver bullet but it's a great part of your toolbox

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes my students just need to hear a different perspective and in a different voice. This is a great solution for that.

  ### 18. A simple but powerful way to learn science

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

There are many things I like about Khan.

First of all, it is free for students and teachers, thanks to the effort of Salman Khan.

Khan has been constantly evolving, from some simple courses to deep and complete content about almost every matter in maths and some parts of physics, chemistry, economics, etc.

One of the best things in Khan is interactivity. Khan Academy is not only composed of video courses but also covers quizzes and get track of your learning path.

Another thing I like is the scoring system. Khan lets you obtain energy points and medals to go further in your learning; this is a challenge for children and encourages them to improve.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Not all the courses have the same quality. Some of them are more like a set of HMLT pages and PowerPoint presentations recorded in video.

In the same course, you can find videos recorded by different people, and then, with different voices. This can be a bit misleading. Also, accents may vary, for example, Spanish courses are recorded with a Hispanic accent, not a Spanish one.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Khan Academy is free and a fantastic tool to learn Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computation.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Khan with my students in educational technology.

They learn how a sequential course can be built using videos and quizzes.

They learn how the motivation of students can be raised through a rewards system. Certainly, it is a behaviorism focus of knowledge but it serves for a quick learning.

  ### 19. An ideal platform for students to learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

The videos on Khan academy explains basic concepts very well. You are not asked to memorize equations but instead the videos show students how to logically derive the equation by themselves.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Khan academy videos are a little long and sometimes poorly edited. Some videos can also get a little repetitive. Khan academy is ideal to use up till the k12 level or to refresh your knowledge before joining college. The information provided is insufficient for college students.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to refresh my high school chemistry concepts. The videos had explained all the concepts I forgot, thoroughly. I was also able to obtain done additional information about a few topics. I learned what the true meaning of pKa was and it's implications. Concepts that I found both boring and daunting were presented in a exciting manner.

  ### 20. Supplemental Instruction for Strugglers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather S. | Music Teacher, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I like the way the teacher speaks to the student. I also like the ease with which my students can grasp concepts when taught another way, such as with Khan.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I haven’t yet found any downsides to using Khan Academy in my classroom.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have 2 3rd grade students who struggle with the concept of division. I used a Khan video to show them how to break it down in another way. It seems as though sometimes my students just need thing s explained by a different person and it will click, it’s likely due to some rearranging of phrasing from one teacher to the next. Khan provides this for me.

  ### 21. Great teaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I love the way they explain things for those of us who have a hard time with some concepts. They bring a lot of empathy to their teaching and will explain things in more than one way making things easier to digest.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The only thing that I can think of is not being able to ask questions. All in all a great service.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used it to help me polish my limited math skills.

  ### 22. Best solution out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy is by far my favorite site to learn computer programming. What I like best about Khan Academy is how the instructors break down each topic and relate each topic to you in a very easy to understand format. I feel like the instructors actually have fun while teaching the material, which in turn contributes to motivation on my part.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The only dislike I have about Khan Academy is that I wish they would have more material regarding how to learn computer programming. One topic in particular would be a class in Python. I feel that Python is a very popular language right now, and knowing how Khan Academy educates it's customers, I know that class would be a success.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Hands down the #1 learning platform for anyone looking for continued education.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The material that I have learned through Khan Academy has given me knowledge to complete many new tasks at my new company, especially when it pertains to SQL. I've realized that I can always go back to the classes that I took at Khan Academy to review if there are any topics that I need a refresher on.

  ### 23. Khan Academy Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

The most helpful part about Khan Academy is the many different subjects and topics that the site covers in the numerous different subjects for both high school and college students.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The least helpful part about Khan Academy is how certain teachers are too quick with explaining more difficult concepts primarily with higher level science concepts in the Physiology and Genetics courses.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Use the quizzes provided at the end of some videos as a way to see if you truly do understand that concept.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy is especially beneficial when studying for exams and looking over the more difficult concepts that you have struggled with in the beginning of the semester; it provides quick, efficient reviews of specific topics making it easy to review specific areas.

  ### 24. I love Khan Academy!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

It's Free!!!! it makes learning very easy

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

it's easy to forget about, if you're not consistently using it, it's very easy to lose your place.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Khan academy to relearn systems I used to know very well

  ### 25. Khan academy is useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

It is a resource that collects data, reinforces and it’s also available in Spanish

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

It only offers like five questions per topic

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

It’s perfect , maybe focus on other subjects such as language too

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s free, therefore our school saves money and has more to acquire other resources

  ### 26. Khan Academy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy is extremely helpful with students who struggle with different topics, especially math. The detailed step-by-step instructions and friendly manner allow students to practice new skills.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I really don't have any dislikes for Khan Academy. I use it often with my students.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy allows me to extend new skills for students who have proven mastery. On the other side, Khan Academy allows me to reinforce skills if students are struggling.

  ### 27. Teach yourself nearly anything

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I have used Khan Academy throughout my college years as a supplement to my math classes. The quality of the videos and problem sets offered are found no where else for the price you pay(it's free).

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

This is one product I can honestly say I have no gripes with. I mean, it's extremely difficult to take issues with a free service.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

You get out of Khan Academy what you put in!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While I do not see any direct business benefits in using Khan Academy, I think it works as a great supplement to computer programmers seeking to strengthen in their craft, or to students.

  ### 28. Great Tool for Basic to Moderately Advanced Learning of Many Subjects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alycia F. | Graduate Teaching Assistant, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Sal goes through many examples at a nice pace for the math and science courses I have used to review concepts. He is very detailed without overwhelming the user with new information.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I do wish more subjects would be available in broader engineering fields - even at a basic level to help complement a university course with harder to understand concepts.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Pay attention to each lesson, take them slow, and truly work out each problem along the way to get the most out of the program.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I was a Teaching Assistant, I would direct my students to Khan videos to help them understand concepts we were working on. Now, as someone in industry, it is helpful to review basic math and science lessons in order to perform my job better. This is particularly useful for statistics, which is something I implement more now in my job than in school.

  ### 29. Great resource for learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary R. | Occupational Therapist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I like that there are videos that appeal to visual learners and the wide range of courses and subjects that are covered and available. The format is very easy to use as well as search through. The videos are high quality and very easy to follow along with.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I don’t like that the written notes are not easier to search within to find certain parts of the lecture. I do wish these were a wider range of specificity in the subject fields that I could use even more for growing my knowledge related to my field.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to increase knowledge on basic concepts that allow me to grow in my field. Specifically, courses in biology, anatomy, and physiology have helped me to review subjects that I learned in school and are now applicable in my daily work.

  ### 30. This is fantastic!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louise M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I love how Khan Academy is always expanding on their courses. You can learn or re-learn Math, Chemistry, English and so much more at various levels of proficiency. I really enjoy the videos that explain the theory behind the problems you are given. They are comprised of instructors who give clear direction accompanied by illustrations to help you along your way. I think that the results-driven approach of this learning platform is great for self-study.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I would love to see even more variety in the courses on offer, but I do acknowledge that Khan is always expanding their course offerings.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

The best thing you can do is give this a try for yourself! I am quite certain you will enjoy it so much you may end up spending a good few hours mastering skills before you think of logging out.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a product that not only works well for my own use in pursuing education and knowledge but also in my profession as an educator. I can it for differentiation in classroom instruction as well as for assigning homework. Students love being able to work at their own pace, review examples and explanations as necessary, and skip parts that they have already mastered. it gives them a sense of control as well as responsibility for their own learning.

  ### 31. Amazing service for teachers and all. The depth and detail are amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley D. | Business Teacher, Primary/Secondary Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

What I like best about Khan Academy is that there are so many different subjects covered and the lesson are very well taught. The segmented parts of the lesson and the steps that they cover are very well thought out and progress perfectly. Whether I'm teaching a lesson on marketing or budgeting, or even something very specific with math, Kahn has it all.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There is not much I dislike about Khan Academy. The only thing would be that it is not a commonly used resource here in the Midwest. I believe it is mainly used on the west coast and would love to see it used more here.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

I would recommend that when you first get to Khan Academy to search as many different lessons as you can. The amount of content is endless and they have different instructors sometimes. I have searched around for other resources, but Kahn seems to be the best. The specificity of the content and concise explanation of content is what sets it apart from the others.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This resource is allowing my students to have another source of teaching different than mine. While it certainly isn't replacing me, it is allowing them to learn from different methods and for me to choose which lessons they are able to supplement with. Personally, I have used some of the lessons to refresh my own content knowledge before teaching it to my students the next day. It has strengthened my own knowledge greatly and also provides a useful tool for my students to use.

  ### 32. khan academy review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** karmina m. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I like how Sal explains things. the black background and the colorful features are helpful as well.i also think that being able to explain a difficulty concept in less than 10 min (most of the time) is not only super useful but necessary for students- socially when studying for the MCAT

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I wish they had a pdf attached to it. or a summary of terms mentioned or process used. that way one could download it and print it out and follow along better rather than spending more time pausing the video to write down everything

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

I would recommend this to anyone who is a current student and specially for those getting read to take the MCAT. sometimes the quality of certain videos can appear blurry but in my experience that has only happened once. I like how there is an app associated with it. I would recommend improving the MCAT page that Khan Academy has because it can be very confusing when looking for mcat videos- psy/soc for example.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none

  ### 33. Great for teachers to use with students in elementary school and above!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | Instructional Specialist, Primary/Secondary Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy is great for so many reasons. First, it provides curriculum and learning modules for the public as well as for teachers to use with their students. There are a variety of topics and subjects from Kindergarten through University level. Khan Academy has a tracking system where as a learner, you can track what subjects and lessons you've completed and where you should go next. It's also fun to earn badges and points to upgrade your avatar character.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There isn't really too much to dislike, but I do wish there was more science content for the younger grades.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

n/a

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy allows teachers to give students self-paced learning activities, quizzes, practice, games, and videos in any subject of their choosing.

  ### 34. The first free education there is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew C. | Technical Editor, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy gamifies math, visualizes history, and simulates programming (among other things). It's fun, and it's learning. There are badges and profile upgrades you get as you earn points. They've even collaborated with some other organizations

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I guess I don't like that the FAQ answers and other community comments are generally a few years old, but that's not a big deal. There's not much to complain about. They're pretty unique. They could produce more classes (which they are actively doing); a wider selection of classes would make them more and more valuable to the global community.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Try it. You're going to like it at least a little even if you don't continue to use it. There are plenty of different topics for learning to choose from.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've closed gaps in my understanding in an important field of the future: programming html and css. These help me "get" what goes on behind the scenes of my favorite websites. There's a certain appreciation level you gain by taking the 101 Class on this stuff.

  ### 35. Khan Academy is a wonderful resource!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan academy introduced a world of free education to millions like myself. The platform is simple and easy to use, as almost every topic from prep to K-12 covered (including some topics beyond that level) and provides a reliable, comprehensive source of learning both as a standalone source and as a supplement to formal education. Also, Khan Academy has been of invaluable help in my research on e-learning and education management. Simply put, Khan Academy and its resources are just what the world needs!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Energy points seem rather counter intuitive and donot rally add any value to the platform. Also, if each lesson is paired with interactive activities to gauge the learning of students, then it would help teachers a lot!

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Khan academy is free to use and it has almost every topic and subject required for school and high school students. Use this resource for instruction and to give your students the maximum opportunities to learn.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offering supplemental materials to students to strengthen their foundation in any topic and in instances, allowing academics to align their courses with a world-renowned platform like KA.

  ### 36. The best site to learn the basics of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy is my goto online resource whenever I want to refresh few concepts or learn the basics of Math and Physics. Khan Academy has grown in the right direction over the years. As of today, the site caters to the learning needs of the students from elementary schools, high schools, and even college graduates. What Khan Academy excels at is that the teaching methodology is simplistic and consistent across the courses. Most of the courses start with the instructor explaining the fundamental concepts and building on it further with complex topics. Also, I observe that the instructors work through a lot of practice problems that prepares a student to think through multiple solutions while attempting a problem. Also, the reward system introduced recently (points/badges) would definitely encourage the young learners to keep learning and solving the problems.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

While the number of courses available on Khan Academy has increased significantly, it has also made the interface bit overwhelming. For a young learner (elementary school) it might be challenging to find the appropriate courses, track the progress, and work on the example problems without any assistance by the elders. Also, the interface where students work on the problems and submit the solutions needs improvement in terms of UI/UX. In addition, some hints can be added wherever appropriate to assist students while working on the problems.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

If you are a parent or an instructor at an elementary or high school, I strongly encourage you to introduce your kids/students to Khan Academy. Learning is both engaging and a fun activity on this online learning platform. Also, the courses are taught by the best instructors in the world which is yet another incentive to be learning on Khan Academy.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Khan Academy mostly to refresh the concepts I learned in the elementary and high schools. Solving the example problems is highly rewarding as it forces one to recollect and apply the knowledge gained. Refreshing and learning Math and Science concepts on Khan Academy makes one feel confident.

  ### 37. Differentiation Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy allows me to address individual student needs, differentiate my classroom, and help students in one-to-one environments. It also allows me to focus on reading and writing skills, which need more direct instructional practices, allowing students to enrich lessons through self-directed study. You can also create classrooms for free!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I would like more lessons to become available, to allow students to build their strengths beyond basic instruction. The available math lessons are amazing, and help students study and understand classroom lessons. However, the English/Language Arts lessons are typically limited to basic grammar concepts. This can be used as an excellent review tool, but is not as effective if assigning for a long-term self-study program.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Khan Academy is not a replacement for classroom instruction, but is an excellent way to supplement lessons, provide students with enrichment activities, and address concerns with student learning.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy allows me to more easily differentiate my classroom. This is an amazing site that allows the classroom teacher to track student progress, address areas of study struggle, and design a plan to help students improve. This is also excellent as an at-home tool. Students in households who are unable to provide assistance or tutoring, are able to access nearly unlimited lessons and practice plans for extra help.

  ### 38. I use it and suggest to students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Ideal for learning mathematics. I use it whenever I need to brush up on a mathematics concept for my tutoring services. It provides videos, text instruction with supplemental questions, and assessments. Keeps track of your progress.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

No complaints. It is a very useful platform for working on subject matter knowledge for mathematics. It could use more material for other courses, like biology and chemistry. It is lacking the assessments for those courses.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Explore other platforms as well to see which one is the best fit. I highly recommend Khan because of the variety of material for the teaching, reviewing, and assessing of skills for mathematics. Can use it for all math subjects, from elementary math through statistics and calculus. Most helpful for math, but also can be used as a resource for sciences and humanities.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I suggest that students use Khan academy to get a lesson presented in a way that makes the content very understandable. I have realized the benefit of using it myself to learn new mathematics concepts. May use it in the future to teach myself calculus so I can tutor the subject.

  ### 39. Might be one of the best educational tools out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie P. | Learning Assistant, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

First of all, you can look up such a wide variety of topics; it's amazing. You can either search for something specific, or take part in various structured subjects. I like that there are little tests to be able to pass to the next level, and badges that you can earn to show your progress. I especially like that you can speed up the videos and watch them is 1.5x time if you just need to review a topic instead of learning it deeply.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I wish there were more advanced math topics. It essentially ends at 1st/2nd year university courses, which is unfortunate. I wish there were more topics available.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Honestly, I would suggest trying out some of the directed subjects, just for fun. I learned a lot of things about early math that I had never learned when I went through school. It's a lot of fun, as well!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a tutor, I often point my students in the direction of Khan Academy as a way of self-directed learning. I often hear wonderful feedback from them about how simple they find the topic since having it explained on Khan!

  ### 40. Pioneers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Without Khan Academy, I could not have survived my educational journey. Even today, I find it a useful resource to refer to for my children and their tutoring needs. The website is easy to use and navigate, the videos are clear and made with quality and clarity in mind, and the dashboard helps me track my sons' progress as well as weak points. Overall, Khan Academy is a pioneer in online education.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Nothing. Khan Academy has so much to offer to parents of K-6 children like myself that honestly, it would have cost me thousands of dollars in hiring tutors to help my children.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Khan Academy is free to use for everyone and the breadth of subjects covered from Kindergarten to High School is amazing. I would readily recommend Khan Academy to anyone who are struggling in their studies.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Khan academy to tutor my children and ensure they're academic progress is in line with their capabilities. Also, I often refer KA to visiting high school students who approach me for advice on college admissions and financial aid process .

  ### 41. Excellent For All Ages and Learning Styles!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie R. | Coordinator of Career Services, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

This particular site has incredible videos that break down the most difficult concepts so they can be easily understood. The math videos are AMAZING!!! I also like the ease of searching for the subject you need. This site is helping so many learn and understand concepts that are otherwise incredibly difficult. I wish it were around when I was in school!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Sometimes the site runs really slow. It takes a while for things to load and play. Other than that, I just think it is a very well done site and doing great things for people who need help.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Khan Academy is for anyone and everyone. The fact that there are resources like this out there For Free is incredible! The site is truly easy to use and has so many subjects! You can learn so much! The site usually runs slow for me, so I recommend doing it on high speed internet for sure! If you have trouble with anything, even doing the math for a discount when you are shopping, Khan Academy can help!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This site has allowed myself and my staff to learn things that were really important to run our office. For example, we have to make flyers, edit websites, and even run a software. We do not have degrees in anything computer or graphic-related, but with this site, we are able to watch how-to videos for everything!!! It is free, so it saves our office money and we don't have to try and hire staff with skills we don't have because we can just learn them ourselves!

  ### 42. The best software for primary and secondary electonic learning - and it's free!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor A. | Accommodation Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

It's free and very thorough. A great platform for secondary and primary education in a variety of subjects. Also a great place to review for higher ed students who are having trouble in a particular course or need a refresher on a concept area. It is logically divided into conceptual areas that are easy to find. The reqard system of badges is fun and encouraging.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There are still some topics left untouched but they are always adding more! Interface can be limited if not on a desktop or laptop computer.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Use this! It's free and you have nothing to lose.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides great remediation learning for students who are struggling with new content. Our staff can more easily see the issues some students are having in a course when they check out the subject area content for themselves.

  ### 43. Great Site!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel W. | Math Teacher, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

This site makes learning and reviewing material so easy. The videos, quizzes, and hints encourage retention without bogging down the student with too much information at once. Being able to pick and choose what topics to cover is a Godsend, and I"m so grateful Khan is available!

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The monsters and energy points seem a little pointless because they aren't explained. If I knew what was going on with them, I would like them more.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

This program is great if you use it. If you don't stick to it, it's obviously not going to help. Hard work and determination are key. Khan makes learning as easy as it can be, and the price is perfect for every budget. Good luck!

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spot tutoring with my students is so much easier with Khan. I can tell them to go home and work for twenty minutes on one topic and they have the repetition they need without me scrounging for worksheets they'll hate.

  ### 44. Khan Academy is an amazing resource for teachers and students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keri C. | Math Teacher, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

This no-cost service has very high quality lesson plans of good lengths for students.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Activities and games related to the lessons would be fantastic. The format of the videos is better for older students. Younger students tend to do better with other video lessons such as BrainPop which are more visually stimulating and include more analogies. Khan Academy is fantastic at what they're doing.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

What an amazing resource. Teachers in poorly funded (and possibly well funded) schools sometimes may rely on these resources too heavily rather than have interaction with the students, which is also necessary. I believe quality educational resources available at no cost is going to help improve America's educational system.
Great resource for students and parents. Better for older students. Younger students and students who benefit from more stimulation and/or interaction won't enjoy Khan academy as much. Also a great resource for adults to expand their own knowledge, though this isn't Khan Academy's aim.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a STEM teacher, I directed all my students to Khan Academy for extra support.

  ### 45. Incredible FREE resource for students and teachers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AJ C. | eLearning Specialist, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

What I love most about KhanAcademy are the amazing resources available to teach a diverse student group. My students have a lot of different needs, and KhanAcademy provides the ability to teach them in ways that reach their learning style. Whether they need a video, a whiteboard demonstration, or a text outline of the step-by-step process, KhanAcademy gives me the tools to educate them effectively.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The user interface is not as intuitive as I would like. We use other for-profit programs that are more streamlined requiring fewer clicks to access the tools I need. That being said, Khan Academy provides a wealth of information completely free, and you can't overlook free!

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

The teaching provided is sound, and the curriculum outline is very well thought out. I encourage anyone to give it a try and see how it fits within the work you are already doing with your students. This is a great resource for students who miss class and reducing teacher workload.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Khan Academy is taking the place of for-profit programs that we use with out students. There are requirements students must meet to use our paid programs, and when they can't do that, it leaves them and me in a lurch. They want to learn, and I want to teach. Khan Academy allows me to teach without being constrained to policies because it's completely free!

  ### 46. Wonderful Learning Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Without Khan Academy, I’m not sure a would’ve passed Organic Chemistry in my undergraduate career. The videos paired seemlessly with explanations were like getting a second classroom professor experience. Broken down by category, it is easy to find what subject you need more help with and watch the related videos. I also found the website extremely helpful for missed classes in Stats. I was undergoing health issues that caused me to miss a lot of classes for the course, but I caught up easily with Khan Academy. When I became a teaching assistant for some microbiology courses, I suggested Khan Academy to my students. They found it just as helpful.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

Sometimes the voices can be very monotone, but not worse than a boring lecture hall anyways.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My students really benefitted from the tools Khan Academy gave them to go over subjects they didn’t feel 100% on.

  ### 47. Khan Academy --- YES!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle H. | ESOL Teacher, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

The lessons are long enough for pupils to gain some depth within a subject but short enough to not lose interest. You can say to your students, you are going to do this one lesson before we transition. The lessons are sensibly organized and thoughtfully planned. They have enough description and practice.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

There was not enough variety of lessons in the past, but they have been expanding. There is nothing to dislike now!

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

This is an excellent program that all education firms and organizations should consider; it is the way to solve problems like student absences and tardies --- all students can catch up on concepts by looking up their lesson materials on Khan Academy.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students can reteach themselves a concept they may have missed in class or did not comprehend in the past. Also, it is another way to teach a student a concept other than the same teacher teaching the concept the same way.

  ### 48. Helpful Math Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katelyn S. | Advanced Composition Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

I like that Khan Academy allows teachers to assign specific strands of a subject (in my experience, math) to students at their learning level. This is a helpful way to differentiate and progress monitor student learning. I also like how students must correctly answer five questions in order to move forward with the content they're working on.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I dislike the ease of student distraction. Students can easily access other websites while viewing the content videos; this allows students to play the video, without genuinely engaging with the content being taught.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Definitely helps address students' learning needs without requiring too much additional work from the teacher.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Differentiated Instruction, Progress Monitoring, Beneficial At-home Support, Less Grading and Organization necessary since it's all accessible through the online database. Benefits include: direct instruction to meet the students' learning needs without requiring more work of the teacher to provide the differentiated instruction. In addition, there is one database where teachers can access student progress, and it is easy to analyze data to determine what curriculum to address in class.

  ### 49. Khan Academy Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Khan Academy offers an ever-broadening list of subjects. You can learn about everything from finance to quantum physics. Not only that, but every lesson I've ever seen has been in an extremely accessible format for a broad range of users. Also, I use it at my job to help students learn new topics with the help of interactive videos which helps them in being engaged and interested in the topic.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

I do wish they had more options as far as learning tangible skills. Khan Academy is heavily geared towards strictly academic subjects and less of things like learning how to program, or practical electrical engineering, etc. So I think it should include more courses so that they can reach a broad spectrum of students.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Best user-friendly online learning resource out there.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've mainly use Khan Academy to help my students in understanding tricky concepts in school. The videos are excellent resources for learning things that they are having difficulty with.

  ### 50. Khan Academy Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Khan Academy?**

Its simple interface is really helpful for students of all ages. I personally use khan academy in my mentor sessions at the University of Texas at Arlington to help students understand concepts easily and in an interactive manner. As it is online and free students are able to practice it at their homes and do the quizzes at their own pace.

**What do you dislike about Khan Academy?**

The questions are really basic and should include some high-level questions in their courses. Although the interface is fairly easy to use, people get confused in searching courses they wanna learn. So that certainly needs to be reviewed and changed accordingly.

**Recommendations to others considering Khan Academy:**

Literally, the best website out there to learn and increase your knowledge in core subjects. And is suitable for every age group. And plus its free.

**What problems is Khan Academy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is primarily used by my department at UTA to help students in their grades and the understanding of the course material in a fun and interactive manner.
