I use Keysight Eggplant to automate test cases, and it makes my automation tasks easy with the SenseTalk language, which is easy to understand. I really like the sidebar where I get details of each and every keyword and what it does. The left-side panels of sorted images, scripts, and resources give me clarity. Not dislike but still I see there is but OCR issue many times so application get fails. So when we run any complex test case it will fail atlest for once in five times due to OCR issue. When using mobile testing tools like Appium, you typically need to inspect elements on the screen using a separate tool, such as Appium Inspector, to identify them. However, after identifying the elements, you must disconnect the inspector tool to free up the port for Appium server connection. In contrast, Eggplant allows you to inspect and run test scripts without needing to reconnect to another inspector tool, making the setup much easier compared to other tools. Eggplant's End-to-End testing for web applications takes significantly longer to complete compared to tools like Cypress. I find the testing process with Eggplant to be too time-consuming. To enhance the DAI portal, you can consider adding a "Download Test Results" button or functionality that allows users to easily download a summary or report of their tests. Changes during the Development Cycle are frequent. Automated Testcases can be quickly created, and then edited when needed. 2. Using the Modeling feature, we have increased test coverage. And this provides a visual model that Stakeholders can easily understand. 3. Our primary products are complex Embedded Systems. With Applications supporting them. In this world we also have some proprietary automation tools. Eggplant has easily integrated with them giving us more robust system testing. 4. We have automated complex setup tasks that manually took days. These suites now take hours to execute when using Eggplant. 5. Ramping up a Test Team for Automation testing is always a challenge. Eggplant is a great tool for UI automation. Its so easy to learn and use. The customer support team is definitely on another level so proactive and supportive. We use it for UI automation at multiple devices hence making it an extensive and game-changing automation platform. Most of our team members having no prior coding knowledge, automated their applications/day to day activities with ease using EPF. - Great customer support: All the keysight POCs are suportive, specifically Philippa Merrill and Kieran Leicester helped us a lot with our queries, heared our issues to get those resolved in next builds. - Feature package: Automating our web & desktop applications, testing our APIs and scheduling applications day jobs from a single UI was made possible by Eggplant only for us. There are a number of upsides about Keysight Eggplant but two of these stand out; namely, the Coding language which is English, and the AI tool known as the OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION(OCR). Keysight Eggplant is an extremely comprehensive and complex tool which ticks all the boxes for the perfect Software Test Automation tool but the only dislike is the monochrome nature of it's LOGS in the Digital Automation Intelligence tool as well as the inability to seamless convert these .csv files to .xml where a .xls can be incoorperated to obtain a more pleasent report for test automation runs.
