What do you like best about Keysight Eggplant?

Possibly the most visual way to quickly and succinctly show the impact on site speed of every element that exists in a users journey from tracking tags to js libraries. What problems is Keysight Eggplant solving and how is that benefiting you?

High level management have many questions on how to better optimise site speed that can be quite difficult to measure on a day to day level, the eggplant performance analyzer allows us to quickly put to bed the worry that anything we load on the page is having a negative impact so we can grow our business and marketing activities with the correct partners in a manner that does not impact our infrastructure.

What do you like best about Keysight Eggplant?

The ease of implementation and the user friendly UI makes this a great product. The out of the box available reports along with the ability to download the report in multiple options adds value to this SaaS product. We can also run the manual test on adhoc basis as and when we need from the UI itself. The swift implementation by the team and the support is also well acknowledged. What do you dislike about Keysight Eggplant?

This product is available only as SaaS. Therefore, we can't monitor the intranet sites. Also, the licensing cost is quite high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great synthetic monitoring tool with good UI and reporting capability along with the option to run the tests manually as and when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Keysight Eggplant solving and how is that benefiting you?

We intend to generate synthetic transactions for a key application by simulating the key business transactions and we wanted this to be executed every 5 minutes so as to ensure that we are well aware of what the problem is before the end user notifies us and eggplant tool exactly provides this kind of proactive notification and the information/trend data that we need. What do you like best about Keysight Eggplant?

Tool is great and easy to use.

Scripting syntax is easy to understand and write.

Can be used for UI automation at multiple platforms, that is a great extensiblity .

What do you dislike about Keysight Eggplant?

Tool works based on OCR engine and very rarely it might happen that the tool reports false positive. Have not happened to me yet but i don't trust OCR engines a lot.

For simple scripts the tool is easy to learn and do but it requires some training and study to do complex scripting to achieve automation goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Keysight Eggplant:

Eggplant is a great tool if you have to do UI automation. But i would recommend to evaluate alternate tools as well since there are many tools available in the market today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Keysight Eggplant?

This helped me to automate the application starting from the opening app by searching in windows and so on.

It can do almost everything a user can do in the application. You need to write the script and put the images in place. The application searches for those images in the screen does the job for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
