**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Not applicable for now, but i think there should be a student license.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creating only CAD model for custoer is not proper communication.
what i feel, it should show the aesthetics in realistic way, so that people can engage with better marketing prospects.

I use keyshot for visualization purpose.

Keyshot solves the major problem of product videos that we use in marketing purposes. It helps us in illustrating complex product parts to others in simplified manner.

  ### 6. My All-in-one Rendering Tool With Easy Integraion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ammar S. | Structural Analysis Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2022

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

It integrates seamlessly with Creo Parametric, my primary CAD software, which makes the creation process even more efficient. I'm impressed with how KeyShot can take a 3D model from Creo Parametric and transform it into a realistic still image or animation in just a few steps.

The interface is incredibly user-friendly with support for drag-and-drop operations to help you quickly create stunning visuals. Additionally, the library of materials and lighting options allows me to customize my renders even further. With its powerful features and ease of use, KeyShot is definitely worth investing in.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

While it has impressive features and tools, some of my team members find them too complex or difficult to use if they are not familiar with similar software programs.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of projects and not enough time to get it all done. KeyShot helps us try different designs more quickly than if we were doing the work in CAD, which can be very time-consuming.

KeyShot is also great for communicating with clients. We show them a rendering and get their feedback without having to go back to the CAD model and make changes

  ### 7. Best Render engine for product>

  ### 9. Amazing visuals, truly an alternative to product photography

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Marketing Manager and IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot does an excellent job making 3d models look real by mimicking the effects of real light. The animation features are powerful and easy to use. Compared to built in rendering tools, nothing else comes close.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Needs a very fast computer like a Threadripper to get the full potential out of keyshot. Otherwise the software is excellent.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keyshot helps us present products to end users at the conceptualization stage. With photography, you have to wait until a product is built before you can take photos. With keyshot, you can create product visuals before the product physically exists.

  ### 10. Keyshot is a great software for quick , easy and realistic rendering

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garvit G. | 3D Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2022

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

One of the biggest advantages of keyshot is that it has a lot of good drag and drop lighting and materials which makes the process quick if someone know just to model they can quickly make their artworks presentable using keyshot without any prior knowledge of lighting and texturing.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

There are not much dislikes i have but one is the animation workflow, they should improve their animation tools, so we don't have to move back and forth between software.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

If you don't have much knowledge of lighting and texturing and you want your models to look good, Keyshot is worth a try.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subrata S. | VR Developer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot is a great renderer it has a clean UI that is also easy to use, it has a library of materials and textures that can be applied to the 3d model, it also is very quick in rendering and the automatic positing of light makes the models look very clean and professional. Keyshot also has support for a lot of different extensions of 3d models that make it very convenient to use.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Keyshot is a great renderer but it still lacks in some minor features like keyshot is unable to detect multiple parts of a 3d model and usually mixes them together into one and since it considers it a single model, it is unable to assign different textures to different parts of a 3d model, it also has some minor glitches but they are usually fixed through regular updates.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Anyone looking for a quick and easy rendering tool then keyshot is the one.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keyshot gives renders that looks like pictures taken in a studio mainly due to the clean background and the great lighting, it is also very quick and allows movement even after rendering is done that makes it very convenient to view it from multiple angles and get the whole look, Keyshot also is priced fairly less than other that makes it a good choice.

  ### 13. Best for realistic rendering

unable to editing the model directly on keyshot, in term of grouping and etc. have to group the file according to each color / material u desire.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

if you want a nice and decent rendering in a short time.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

complete a rendering in a short period of time.

  ### 16. Quick ,easy, efficient. must have product for all who work in design and engineering fields

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The program itself is very easy to learn . Its layout and interface makes it quick and efficient and the rendering quality is top notch
|t provides a quick rendering of your project which gives you a realistic projection of what it would look like in real life.
It is a must have program for all people who work (or aspire to) in the professional design or engineering fields.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

the layer layout interface could be improved.
Maybe a quick modelling platform for quick editing could be helpful, but only if it does not compromise the speed of program itself.
(optional) it would be better if there were a more various selection of hdris for rendering.

Other than that there is very few things that Keyshot could do to improve that comes to mind. It is a very well rounded program that provides the user with just what s/he needs

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Efficient even for experimentations. As a car designer I personally use it a lot to check on surface reflections
It is also quick and easy to learn.

  ### 17. KeyShot makes it extremely quick and easy to visualise design concepts and prototypes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Super easy to set up from any CAD modelling system, great material and environment selection and easy to apply. You can go from model to photorealistic rendering or animation in minutes. I really like the cutaway function which makes it easy to show a section of a model in order to visualise internal parts, etc. The best part of it is that you can get high-quality results in seconds, I think most users will only need to spend little time but if you want to get even more realistic product shots, say for marketing purposes, you can spend a bit more time so that the rendering engine fully works out all the details in shadows and reflections. As opposed to some rendering software that I have used in the past where you need to wait for renders to fully complete before you see any results. KeyShot makes it a bit analogous to waiting for a cake to bake in the oven, you can always pull the cake out as soon as the result is acceptable to you :)

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

There's very little not to like about it. I guess that it could be made even better by adding more tutorials and examples for beginners to learn the tips and tricks of KeyShot. Also could e improved by having more varied demo scenes of objects/scenarios of different scales. The most difficult bt about KeyShot however is the price, the cost is a little bit much for the amount of use that we would get out of it, especially being less and less orientated in physical design. A pay-as-you-go license model could be a better solution for our needs.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick visualisations to communicate concepts with clients and teams. Short animations to demonstrate functionality or to show a model from multiple angles. Time saving is the main benefit that I have gotten from using KeyShot, at no or little compromise in quality. A mentioned above, if you want to have more quality, all you need to do is spend a few more minutes to let the rendering engine do its thing.

  ### 18. Good enough, but could be much better with more features and quality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad Sadra B. | Autodesk Alias Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot is very Cute! Simple to use and good enough to have some satisfying render shots. Some tools are very good, screenshots available, GPU rendering, cameras, lights, they are all good ENOUGH!

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Keyshot needs a lot of updates on its options and features to have much better quality. Some tools give you an artificial result which is not good for everyone. in compare with some other renderers, keyshot options are look basic! You cant get very realistic results without using some other softwares and editors.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just understood materials, mapping, etc. Keyshot helps you to feel a renderer and talk about it. I had good enough progress and I think I didn't waste my time at least!

  ### 19. Easiest way to get professional-looking results on your renders!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo S. | Senior Product Designer, Egencia, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot takes care of lightning in an easy way, and lets you preview the result of your rendering before pressing the button. Being able to do short animations on the software is also great!

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Not much. I can imagine people saying that Keyshot misses features for 3d creation, but it's exactly the simplicity of the interface and the focus on rendering that makes me like the product. The only problem I've encountered is that it's difficult sometimes to get rid of the noise artifacts in the final rendering.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a visual designer originally, so 3d is not a core part of my workflow. Whenever I tried using 3d software, such as 3dsmax or CInema4d, my main problem was to get professional-looking final results. Rendering, and everything that comes in between (lightning, texturing) is surprisingly one of the hardest parts to get right on 3d work. KeyShot helps me to get good looking renders even if I'm not a 3d professional-artist. My renders, and even short animations, are looking wonderful now with the software!

  ### 20. Awesome renderer with photorealistic image.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

This software has excellent pre-made material and 3d texture, and you can use it as your UV or projection wise.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

This software viewport is not running smoothly in real-time. I faced some lagging, and one more thing gizmo is not user-friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

If you are working in 3d product visualization company, this is a must-have software for you.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's fantastic for rendering because it has pre-made material, hdri, backplates, and custom light with multipass rendering.

  ### 21. Keyshot -Easiest and most intuitive render tool for starters and professionals alike

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

I liked the easy to use interface, I like the drag and drop functionality of materials without the technical knowledge of setting up shaders. You can also customize your materials with the material editor. Just set up your environment for your product if it will be used for i.e. interior, product shots and you're good to go. Adding labels is a breeze as well. No need to know how to UV map your model just to add labels on your meshes

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

The render engine used to only rely on CPU cores. But with the recent versions, you can use your GPU to render as well. So there is nothing I dislike about it now.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Use it in your workflow. You won't regret it

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It basically solves my beauty render issues since I mostly work with real-time engines. If I need a high quality render with good and accurate lighting, I use Keyshot.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanya K. | Industrial Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2017

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Acceptability of all types of 3D modelled in any software. Easy applications of materials amd even get new or make new as per your need.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Not clear visuals as it renders real time while we put the materials and textures in, gives s hard times to eyes to judge the finishes. More component leads to longer rendering times

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

If quality of model is good, we get better reflections in keyshot

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualisation of products made easier and final imaginations to be kept easily in front of the decision makers in the company. Helps alot with internal communication.

**Official Response from Josh Mings:**

> Hi, thanks for your review! Components (model geometry) don't necessarily add to render times, but the more complex lighting you have and render output settings that are set unreasonably high will add to render times. This may also affect the real-time preview. One thing you can do while applying materials quickly is to toggle Performance Mode (Alt-P) which will speed up the Real-time View.

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Easy to understand, great shaders and light.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Not the most powerfull tool in terms of customization.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

If you are looking for an easy to use yet powerfull tool. I would highly recommend KeyShot for product presentation.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazing for product presentation and short animations. Excellent features.

  ### 33. As a business I can't depend on the licensing system...

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2020

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

As a renderer it is great, especially if you use GPU mode with an RTX card.
Good Workflow, reasonable results for the time it takes to set up and render.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

The licensing system is buggy. Whenever you want to work from a different computer (such as a laptop), you have to deactivate the license on the previous computer. The deactivation always works, but whether or not you can reactivate on the other computer is up to the licensing gods. I have been caught out a number of times where I have deactivated on my desktop, taken the laptop home to do a late night and finish a job and the license does not reactivate. Support are only available Monday to Friday during business hours, so the earliest I get the license reset is the next day. I have missed deadlines and really pissed off clients for something that should not be an issue. This is equally as frustrating if you simply forget to deactivate before you leave the office as the only viable way to reactivate before support is back online is by physically going back to the office.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

If you only work off one computer - ever, then it is a great piece of software. If you need to rely on the license reactivating to deliver your work to a deadline, then I would not use Keyshot.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I prefer it over the rendering package that comes with Solidworks Professional. Great for rendering fabrics, material editor is very comprehensive in what you can edit.

  ### 34. It is very realistic and easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Using keyshot is awesome, I can use it easily.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Importing something takes time it needs to wait sometimes.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I found out that i can easily show to client what are the possible material to be used on the same time during meeting.

  ### 35. Ultra fast, quality renders.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2021

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The ability to instantly see your render result.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Lack of flexibility with the different light types.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Try different lighting setups.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to get realistic, quality renders in a short amount of time.

  ### 36. Keyshot Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The ease of use and the quality of the renderings. Large library of quality materials

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

The processing time of the high quality renders, although I understand why it may sometimes take so long.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Keyshot is the most sophisticated rendering software I have used, although I do not have too much experience with other programs. It was easy to learn with limited experience. The ability to export different product variations for our customers to view in the free keyshot viewer is a very convenient option.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keyshot provides us with a quick way to review how product will look in 3D and with a fairly accurate representation of how certain materials will look.

  ### 37. Keyshot is really helpful for creating photo-realistic renders and stills

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda M. | 3D Modeler, Animation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot has a ton of built in textures, which are real-world accurate and look fantastic. It renders gorgeously and is pretty easy to use. Importing objects is simple and intuitive. Importing your own textures and maps is simple to do as well, and you can use pre-made materials and tweak them to suite your needs. The built in turntable features are useful

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Keyshot can't import Maya files directly, so it can be tedious to export/import. Their real world accurate textures are dependent on scale, so editing your models is an extra step you have to take. I wish they had hair presets, that would be really helpful. I wouldn't render animations with it though, unless you have a really really strong computer

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Keyshot is easy to use and it makes texturing fun and interactive. I enjoy that you can pause the constant rendering, as it can be taxing on my systems.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KeyShot is an excellent alternative to other renderers, like Arnold, etc. It can handle some pretty high-poly geometries, which is really useful as an alternative to less powerful render engines. Their gem materials in particular I've experienced great results with

  ### 38. Impressive solution for fast and powerful rendering

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge N. | Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

What I like most about Keyshot is the simple workflow the software offers; everything is clear and intuitive. You probably need to know the basic concepts of the 3D software environment, and if you don't, you can learn the basic rules of the software quite quickly and produce professional quality renderings quite quickly.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

There are some details that sometimes interfere with the software, some kind of "errors" that can cause the program to close unexpectedly. I also had other errors when updating complicated geometries or models with many surfaces.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Start choosing the materials and set up your own from the beginning, this way you will have your own customized materials library in a couple of months.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently working for a prototyping company, so we generally provide our clients with many design solutions for the same problem, these solutions are commonly translated into physical devices. In my experience, a good render can sell ten times more than a written idea. Therefore, quick rendering is good business.

  ### 39. Excellent easy to use photo realistic results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The ease of use of the interface as it is laid out in a very logical and clear way. It is incredibly easy to get a good looking render in a short space of time and with a bit of work the renders can be outstanding and incredibly realistic.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Not a massive fan of their prices as the upgrade fee for the new version is quite high.

The plugin performance for some 3rd party software can be a bit glitchy some time and it loves to eat through ram.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Takes alot of computer resources to run at it's full potential.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Massively upping the level of our businesses work making it easier and more professional when selling to customers. Makes it easy to get any view of a product we want and giving it a higher quality look than a photo. Once all setup it's perfect for doing the same product with different brandings and configurations.

  ### 40. Getting Realistic Renders Easily

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Burak E. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot's usage is to get renders! Even though it's great for producing your lighting and setting up your scene. I find it shines best when wish to flaunt a version in a scene, or I want to leave work in advance. I am in a position then put it directly to export an obj in my software of choice and begin using their materials that are premade. The app is simple editing yourself and to use in regards to substances.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

This might not be important to the app of my system and simply. I operate MacBook Pro camped. Not great for using this program's ability. For carrying off, while my notebook prepares with having a MacBook Pro comes a corner in my office and making speeds. This isn't just as much a Keyshot difficulty since it's my very own as stated previously.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

It will do a job although A rendering tool for product design studios in addition to engineers, not helpful for auto objects. It makes the updating and archiving procedure of the 3D information and enables the import of a broad assortment of 3D documents a cinch with the support of features and alternatives.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keyshot is a significant help once I want to earn a fast render of a version that is painted 3D. Therefore that I do have to add UVs or export feel maps it integrates with Zbrush - that the painting goes. There are steps. If you are creating a version, Maya is where your documents will be located, but for 3D functions that are printed Keyshot has.

  ### 41. Easy to learn and gives excellent results in a short time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2020

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The possibility of editing and cutting the 3D model to showing the interior of the design.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

You have to use a Solidworks plug-in to transfer the model to Keyshot. If you don't use it, you lose materials imported from solidworks.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To render products and insert them in context, so clients can visualize the final result.

  ### 42. Keyshot: your best shot to rendering!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

Keyshot is the absolute best when it comes to rendering - be it an image or a video, you will be able to perform a fast rendering of a high level, professional result. Its learning curve is really quick, as the software has been designed in an intuitive way.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Keyshot is sometime slow to render, depending on the processor you may have. Usage of lower level resolution as a first attempt is advised.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

You should absolutely consider Keyshot if no one in your team is a skilled graphic designer. This software in fact allows an immediate use even for beginners, who will be able to produce high quality renderings in as little as 30 minutes. Advanced functions however do not lack, so even in the case you want to dig more in the software to take more out of it, you can do it to achieve even greater result. 100% recommended for everyone not looking to invest a lot of time in learning a new software but want to see immediate, high quality results straight away.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it comes to rendering without a professional experience, Keyshot is the king: this is the one that you will be able to use even without a proper tutorial. You can start to have some rendering in matter of minutes, and they will be detailed enough to appear very professional! The major benefit in my opinion is that even if you are not a graphic designer, you can use this software and learn it in a very little time and then produce high quality rendering images or even videos.

  ### 43. A simple way to render.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

2) instalation easily;
3) it communicates well with numerous modeling software;
4) it's rapid.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

1) It is a little bit limited software in the choice of materials, lights, enviroments;
2) I don't like the interface;
3) it could be more intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

A simple way to render, even for inexperienced users.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really easy to use for me as I don't have much experience with rendering, so it often saved me when I had to do quick work.

  ### 44. Easy & simple 3D rendering

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

It is brain-dead easy to use. Real time feedback helps newcomers get going without hassle. Simple material setup for fast studio renders.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

A bit limited when compared with more complete solutions specifically targeted towards more advanced rendering (AKA 3Ds max with its array of tools like perspective match)

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Great if you are in a company focused on the creative part of the process. Not so good if you are more into the realm of final rendering to clients mainly due to its limitations

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it whenever I need to make a fast render of a product without going too much into lighting and or complex setup. Click and go action great for projects on the fly that boss needs right away for a meeting with investors.

  ### 46. Most intuitive rendering software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

The best feature about keyshot is the learning curve: it is very quick for the program is very intuitive to get used to. Professional and complex results can be achieved with a few tutorials.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Sometimes, the usage speed and rendering time can be slow. Maybe a better tutorial and options to predict this time would be helpful. A non real time rendering editing mode exist, but despite this the operating speed is still show.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Just try it - you'll find no software which is more intuitive.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A fast yet decent rendering can be done in matter of hours.

  ### 47. Affordable, Easy to Use Rendering Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

This software is significantly more affordable than some of it's competitors, and SO much easier to use! It has a ton of helpful presets which make putting together a quick render a breeze.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

Overall it's great for basic rendering. The presets can be overwhelming at first but are very beneficial.

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

Great basic rendering software with loads of presets built-in and online. Perfect for those that want to render straight out of Zbrush.

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keyshot is a big help when I need to make a quick, high quality render of a painted 3D model. It integrates with Zbrush, so I don't even need to add UVs to my models or export texture maps - the polypainting moves right over seamlessly. There are a lot more steps involved with programs such as Maya. If you're making an animation-ready model, Maya is probably where your files will be centrally located, but for 3D printed purposes Keyshot has everything I need for a fast mock-up.

  ### 48. It was good

**Reviewed by:** Ainhoa H. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Some times is so slow and its need a lot to load again the object when you make little changes

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is so so good rendering any 3d object

  ### 49. Easy to use and with a fairly high rendering quality

I really like the quality of rendering and it is very useful because of its simple and dynamic interface that makes the creation process much easier by not having to see induction material before using the software

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

I love their characteristics and that's why I do not have something negative to say

**Recommendations to others considering KeyShot:**

I recommend it for animators or designers who want to find a tool to experiment and translate their ideas in a very graphic way

**What problems is KeyShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it has helped us to do layouts of our ideas making prototypes of our designs to show them to our clients and reach a consensus regarding the projects to be carried out

  ### 50. KeyShot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg R. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about KeyShot?**

What I liked best about KeyShot is that its fast and accurate at creating amazing and detailed visuals within a 3D rendering workflow.

**What do you dislike about KeyShot?**

KeyShot only works best with a pretty powerful computer, which is difficult to use outside of a working atmosphere.
