## Keynote Reviews
  ### 1. Great product that integrates various media types seemlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Molly M. | Communications Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I love how easily keynote automatically packages itself as a file, so that you don't have to locate all the media assets you've put in it every time.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Nothing. I mean that. It works great, and it is a great solution for large format presentations!

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating large file presentations with videos and links without having internet

  ### 2. Easy experience for presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

The thing I like best about keynote is that it feels like a more modern version of PowerPoint. It is easy to use and the end result always looks good.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Right now I use it on my iPad versus a laptop. I feel like some of the feature are missing between the two devices.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turning text into visuals to keep the audience engaged. It is sleek looking, there are fun animations you can add, shapes and Icons, easy to embed photo and video!

  ### 3. Keynote is an excellent team resource

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara B T. | Executive Administrative Asst + Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

SIMPLICITY - no instructions needed. Keynote has a great layout, is organized and very self-explanatory.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

The iPhone app is pretty average. Lots of room for improvement on that. It does not have a "save as" feature via phone app, but the computer and ipad apps are excellent.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

The iPad app is by far the best one, if you have access to it, get it! Presentations take up a lot of iCloud storage so I usually move to a flash drive or delete when I no longer need.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Keynote to present data inquiries, it has a few features that powerpoint does not have. It is a great software for presentations with less complexity than others.

  ### 4. PowerPoints trendy cousin

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. | IT Services Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Clean simple UI that is intuitive and still feature-rich. The collaboration tools also mean it is good for group projects with a team. The end result of most presentations is often very professional even for new users.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

It lacks some more complex editing tools found in PowerPoint. Naturally being part of the Apple suite it misses out on some of the more business-oriented cloud and sync options found in Office 365. It also means it's only available on Apple devices making it a no go for our Windows users.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

If you are looking for a sleeker and perhaps more intuitive PowerPoint for Apple devices, this is it.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keynote just works effortlessly when using Mac or even the iPad app, though it has limited use for our Windows users.

  ### 5. If you use a Mac, Keynote is the only program you need to create presentations, animations, and PDFs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Keynote is an extremely powerful software tool for how simple it looks on the surface. The ability to customize almost everything is impressive, which is why it can be "hacked" to create incredible animations and PDFs with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Because the UI is so simple, sometimes it might take a while to find the menu for a specific thing you want to tweak. I highly recommend memorizing shortcuts for the workflows you use the most.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it primarily to create presentations and wireframes for our SaaS business. From the wireframes, you can animate powerful prototypes that can compete with anything you can do on Figma.

  ### 6. 3 year frequent user

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lora D. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

The ease of use and real time feedback are most helpful

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Does not always interface with other programs or applications

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

Good for large companies or small

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication issues

  ### 7. Keynote is the more modern PowerPoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I love that it's clean and easy to set up. It's also very modern and nice update from powerpoint.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I don't love that sometimes fonts aren't transferred over and it can be tricky to save a PDF from it in certain cases

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making presentations with templates that make them look super professional.

  ### 8. Easy to Use and Share

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

How easy the product is to use, like with most apple products the simplicity is dual-edged.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Some of the dsign restrictions the simplicity puts on you that PowerPoint does not.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

This product is good for smaller teams operating on IOS with basic needs.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to share projects with the greater team. This built-in product works well for teams running on IOS

  ### 9. Easy to use, beautiful design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelli A. | Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like the different designs and how easy it is to use-- especially for those used to Mac products.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

It seems like there are fewer presentation templates than other programs.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is a quick, simple, and easy way to create great presentations.

  ### 10. Like powerpoint but better for presenting in MacOSX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

It works better than PowerPoint even when the presentation was created in Powerpoint, and it is a lot more intuitive for apple users, it works like the rest of the applications on the Apple ecosystem, especially amazing since you can control it from an iPhone and a MacBook at the same time in case you decide to switch devices for any reason and it is really hard to accidentally exit the presentation.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Presenting in Keynote is far superior, editing not so much, font missing is a way too common experience and the simplicity can be a limitation, everything that can be done in PowerPoint can be done in Keynote, but it takes longer since the amount of tools on screen is limited, great to avoid clutter and for presenting, but the tradeoff is editing speed.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

As a Mac user is far better than any other presentation software in my opinion.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting ideas and progress in projects.

  ### 11. Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Keynote is easy to use, particularly as an app. It makes a great presentation but without a lot of technical skill right on a mobile device.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

While it's easy to use, a user needs to explore its features a bit to not miss some great functions.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love cloud based presentation tools but their design features are not always accessible from mobile devices. Keynote provides that benefit of great functionality and design capabilities from an iPhone or iPad.

  ### 12. Powerpoint for mac users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

As it is an Apple product, we get the best design and smooth experience. The collection of templates helps to make the presentation more lively. Very easy learning curve as everything is very sophisticated.
Graphics of the presentation is much more Vivid.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Very environment-specific, not so liked by windows users. Difficulty while convertinng keynote file to PPT File.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use keynote for making personal(Project demonstrations) and professional presentations. I use it daily when I need to convert presentation slides to PDF files. I also use Keynote when I need to create Videos.
It saves time as we don't need to dig deep to find a particular feature.

  ### 13. Easy to use

  ### 14. Great alternative to Power Point

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2021

I make good Business and case histories presentations

  ### 16. good but not the best

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie M. | Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021

not a fan of the tool for including links on slides

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keynote is easy for collaborating with other apple users

  ### 17. Great for Technical Presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Keynote is terrific for making technical presentations, especially for mathematical talks, which has been my primary use case. The equation editor allows for seamless integration of equations into slides, unlike other alternatives, and is also extremely easy to make everything aesthetic. The animations interface is also highly intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

One of the main drawbacks is that keynote isn't as widely used, so if I want to send it to someone, then I need to convert the slide deck into PowerPoint format. This is undesirable, since this conversion process can sometimes corrupt the slide deck and requires editing afterwards.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keynote allows me to create effective mathematical presentations that allows me to illustrate complex and abstract concepts from mathematics and computer science effortlessly and intuitively.

  ### 18. USEFUL FOR SCHOOL PROJECTS AND MORE

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Apple gives some great templates to work from but the editor is simple, easy to use, and with little creativity the slides turn out beautifully!

I think some of the collaboration and slide recording capabilities need to build-out and streamlining.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like how elegant Keynote is in terms of presentations. The templates they have are much more professional than the ones on PowerPoint and there's more that you can do with it.

  ### 26. Keys to Keynote

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Some of the things that I love about Keynote are that the platform is very clean and easy to use. I love the templates that Keynote has and how simple it is to add notes for presenters compared to PPT.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Some of the things that I dislike about keynote include the limited amount of templates that Apple currently has for designs. I also dislike that I can't collaborate with other users at the same time. That's a feature that Microsoft and Google have started to master.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keynote is free with the Macbook. So it solves the biggest problem which is being able to afford software that can create clean PPTs for free.

  ### 27. So Easy to Use!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

It has a lot of great creative uses, templates, and helpful tools to create visually appealing decks and presentations

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

It's hard to understand at first if you're used to creating decks in PowerPoint. However, once you get the hang of it and understand all of the elements, there is an opportunity to make more visually appealing presentations.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presentation skills, creative design, templates

  ### 29. Keynote Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Keynote allows you to create polished presentations. Some of the included templates help you to layout your content in a clean and modern way. The transitions and animations (referred to as builds in Keynote) are quite stunning. I am also a long time user of PowerPoint and I find the transitions amd builds in Keynote to be more modern and refined than what PowerPoint offers.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I think the user interface and panels in Keynote are a bit clunky. Also doing bulk changes on animation timing and effects is very cumbersome. There are so many steps to go through to change your animations.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keynote has helped me produce stunning presentations.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I'm really not a fan of the layout and how clunky it can be to find certain tools.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how it can integrate things from my camera roll as an example to speed up the process of creating presentations.

  ### 32. more like Key-NOT

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I have used it mostly for my class presentations. So fonts and text edit is great.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Putting watermark in keynote and trying to export file in Microsoft Presentation does not work. It gets converted to dark normal text.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use keynote to make presentations for all classes that I take online

  ### 34. Makes me WANT to create!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

A simple, intuitive interface puts essential tools front and center, so everyone on your team can easily add beautiful charts, edit photos, and incorporate cinematic effects. And Rehearse Mode lets you practice on the go, with the current or next slide, notes, and clock — all in one view.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I want more templates! There aren't enough templates.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The urge to create comes easily because Keynote makes it very easy

  ### 37. Keynote Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I love how Keynote is free with the purchase of a Mac. Keynote is designed perfectly with the Mac user in mind. It covers everything you need. I like the features, such as color changes that indicate current operations. Keynote works well with powerpoint so working with other users is more manageable. It is compatible with icould, which is easier for storing presentations.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I was not too fond of the scarcity of controls at the toolbar. It is only aviable to apple users so not able to work with other presentation software users. It only allows power point to go one way. Everything in powerpoint also can be done in keynote. The amount of tools is limited

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

Keynote is a great program. Keynote is an upgrade from powerpoint.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting projects is a lot easier using keynote.

  ### 38. Easy to use, great templates

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At work, my presentations always look clean and interesting.

  ### 39. Better for presentations than powerpoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

It doesn't carry the same subjective negatives as PowerPoint, both are presentation software and you can do great presentations in both but Keynote has a certain prestige because you don't associate it with a boring presentation, there is a reason for the phrase "death by PowerPoint" is not "death by Keynote" and it comes to the number of people using the software, as more people use it you are bound to have bad presentations and almost everyone with a computer uses PowerPoint in one way or another. When you are in sales like me you want to use every advantage and starting with a little advantage is always good to close the sale.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I love presenting in Keynote but I don't like making presentations in Keynote, it lacks some things you take for granted in PowerPoint, it is simpler and harder to make mistakes by overcomplicating things like many do in PowerPoint but it also limits you if you want to make a specific change that isn't as easily available.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

When you make a great presentation everything matters even the software you use to present it

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting my slides to customers, features, prices, benefits, etc..

  ### 40. As a MacOSX user is far superior to PowerPoint for presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frankie R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

It is far more intuitive for presentations, when I'm in the middle of a webex I can easily share all content without messing up a shortcut or quiting the app by Mistake like it has happened to me before in PowerPoint.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

It is the best at presenting but for creating slides I think PowerPoint is just better, there are just so many little details that are more easily editable on PowerPoint.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

PowerPoint and Keynote complement each other, not compete directly; unless you need to choose only one they work very well together.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project manager, I need to present a lot of slides from many projects, and as a Mac user it's just simpler to use the built-in tools in Mac, it doesn't matter if it was created on PowerPoint or in Keynote as long as the file opens it can easily be presented by Keynote.

  ### 41. great for college students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like that it is user friendly, that it is similar to a lot of platforms but offer unique and different designs.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Sometimes its too different and if someone is not use to using Apple Products, they can be limited.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly school work. A lot of group projects that require collaboration, multiple user changes and editing.

  ### 42. Keynote is accessible and can be crafted to your imagination

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like how easy Keynote is to customize but keep concise and aesthetically the same, whether format, font, color etc.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

The icons can be a little deceiving, I wish they'd name them better.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

I say use Keynote over Powerpoint, the interface is easier to use and it is compatible with the cloud.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving problems of disorganization among presentations, Keynote has so many ways to keep everything in the same place no matter the slide.

  ### 43. Improved PowerPoint for MacOSX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meng Z. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

Less cluttered than PowerPoint and with all the things I need for the presentations I need to create. I hate doing presentations and presenting them but It's a little better to do them in Keynote compared to PowerPoint. The main advantage is that the animations are just better and more smooth, they look a lot better with less effort.

My main job is Engineering and Developing software I want something fast that doesn't waste my time and Keynote also works with .ppt files so even if a template is created in PowerPoint it's just easier to work in KeyNote.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Creating templates is just horrible, for whenever I need to create a presentation Keynote wins but I had to create a template for some series of presentations our team needed and fine tunning the formatting and design got me frustrated and switches to PowerPoint after a frustrating hour trying to change one shape. Keynote is the best as long as you don't need to put emphasis in little details because those are almost impossible to edit easily.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

If you have a Mac this is better than PowerPoint unless you really need to focus on small details

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Presenting advances and milestones with the development and engineering of whatever we are working at the moment

I love how easily Keynote can transition from my laptop to the cell phone. It is easily accessible and easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

There was/is a learning curve, however it is getting easier to navigate through as I work in the program more often.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am creating keynote presentations for clients, currently. The ease to display or send a presentation has helped me move forward with my goals, quickly and efficiently.

  ### 46. An old-school leader that is not bed but fell behind

1. Keynote is very much "MacOS first"
2. Slick, simple to learn, easy to use and gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

1. There are many alterantives (e.g. pitch) that are much better.
2. It is hard to share keynotes.
3. There is no web-based version.
4. You cannot share a native keynote file to other platforms.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating presentations for VC pitches.

  ### 47. Keynote has changed my Life!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor A. | Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

The best thing is the upgraded technology! It has made life so much easier as I am not very tech savvy!

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

Absolutely nothing. I really enjoy this program. I have recommended it to many people and they all love it.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

This is the best presentation program ever. You will not regret it :)

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have no problems - the presentation is perfect and graphics are superb.

  ### 48. It’s simplicity is its power and possibly a weakness.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar R. | Library Clerk, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like the simplicity of Keynote. If you’re on the go, using your iPhone or iPad it’s easy to use. Yes, you are limited, but can get it done quick or for a touch up on one of the slides. Not too many buttons, which make it an ease for newbies. I like the way it shows you if your item is aligned with with slide. Easily insert images and shapes. Love the cloud! Wherever you are you can continue your work, using an apple device or using a web browser.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

The downside is using it on a iPhone or iPad because of its limits. Limited templates. No easy remote capabilities for a slideshow. Being with students, it would be great to walk around instead of having to always go back to the desktop to change the slide. Due to it being Apple, you have to use an Apple device to control it. I work at a lower income school and can’t afford Apple products. I can’t use mine due to constantly touching items students have... eh hem... I’m kind of a germaphobe and won’t use my items that I touch and touch my face.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been great for instructing on conferences. Easy to be mirrored on screens. I use it to create posters or screen shots for a website. Visual aid is one of the best ways to capture modern day students. You could say something and some get, but, when you say and show it captures the attention. Because of its simplicity, you don’t have to take too match time making a slide show. Compared to PowerPoint, in which, could be overwhelming for a newbie.

  ### 49. Keynote is a great alternative for Powerpoint

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like how user friendly the interface is. It is also easy to export to powerpoint.

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

I don't dislike anything. The only downside is that it's not compatible in PC's.

**Recommendations to others considering Keynote:**

None, just know that it is best for Apple.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems are being solved.

  ### 50. Keynote

**What do you like best about Keynote?**

I like how easy it is to format within Keynote over powerpoint. Lots of customization and free-hand formatting

**What do you dislike about Keynote?**

It does get really slow at times, and additionally it takes up a lot of space within your harddrive.

**What problems is Keynote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using it as a platform to highlight performance insights to external clients on campaigns and how to continue the partnership moving forward
