Keyed is a privacy management and AI compliance platform that helps organizations manage data protection processes and obligations under the EU AI Act in one place. It is developed by Keyed GmbH, a legal tech company based near Münster, Germany, that combines software and consulting. The platform centralizes data protection work such as GDPR-related documentation and workflows. It includes more than 300 templates, configurable workflows, and a task module that supports collaboration across departments and teams. Core areas include records of processing activities, technical and organizational measures, data protection impact assessments, and data subject requests. Teams can assign tasks, track progress, and keep documentation in a single system instead of spreadsheets and shared folders. For the EU AI Act, Keyed offers a dedicated module. It classifies AI systems by risk automatically and uses overlaps between the GDPR and the AI Act, so teams do not have to document the same information twice. Existing data protection impact assessments can be converted into fundamental rights impact assessments. Customers can use the privacy and AI modules together or separately. Keyed is designed for organizations with an internal data protection officer, a privacy coordinator, or a larger privacy team that needs a structured way to manage recurring tasks. Companies without in-house privacy expertise can also add services from the vendor, such as an external data protection officer or an external AI officer. The templates and workflows draw on the vendor’s experience from advising more than 750 companies in the DACH region. The software is available in German and English.
