**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Working with Ketch has been very smooth. They provide support at every step, allowing us to rely on them completely to finish the platform setup. Mike Carey, our primary contact at Ketch, is knowledgeable and responsive throughout the setup process. His team is also very helpful, assisting us with everything from setting up the platform and Google Tag Manager to launching the platform.

The platform's UX/UI is overall straightforward to use. I haven't encountered any major difficulties, and if I do have questions, Mike and his team provide immediate support.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

We encountered a minor issue with the final cookie list during the platform scan; however, they usually respond quickly to help us resolve the issue.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ketch offers a user-friendly platform along with a knowledgeable team to assist us in efficiently setting up the Consent Management Platform. The setup involves several complex elements, such as cookie scanning and definitions, as well as Google Tag Manager configuration. We can depend on their platform and team for support throughout this process.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

It was super easy to install, it didn't cause any issues to our existing production web app in contrast to previous vendors. It has a friendly UI and excellent documentation. They even provide no-code migrations from other vendors, without the need to disrupt existing customers with privacy choices already configured
Their support is agile, fast an excellent. Customer experience assigned contact is super helpful.
They have ton of integrations with other known partners, like Shopify which we also have some satellite brands, so that's tremendously helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Almost nothing. I would just enhance their documentation that is more oriented to new installations.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ketch helps us honoring privacy consent selected by customers in the US with ease, in contrast with other vendors that even though they achieve the same, their UI is complex and difficult to understand or had disrupted our site with features like autoblocking scripts that drops cookies, that at some point even broke our checkout flow!!
It also help us with consent management in several satellite brands we have in shopify.

The integration with our website platform was pretty straightforward. And the UI on our site looks really good.

I think the admin area is not the most intuitive. Also, I needed to educate myself on Google Tag Manager, which I was not prepared for.

It provides a solid privacy management solution for our website visitors at a good price point.

I enjoy Ketch's intuitive interface that makes it easy to customize. Ketch implemented the banner pop-up for us and guided us along each step, which was helpful. The initial setup was relatively easy.

All the menu parts that are locked until you pay more are annoying as I always click on them not knowing (maybe indicate they are locked behind paywall more clearly)

Ketch provided a pop-up banner solution to alert users about cookies and guided us through the setup. I enjoy its intuitive interface for easy customization.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

It's very easy to implement. The code element was minimal; most of the work was configurable and editable in the Ketch tool. The team was really easy to work with and very responsive! This was really helpful due to the tight timelines we were working with.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Some elements are still hidden in code. For example the "hideclosebutton" feature is in the code and requires someone from the team to make the change and deploy it for you.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to manage our consents in one place. Until recently, we were using a custom way to manage consents and were notified by Google to use one of their approved partners if we wanted to continue to use Ads.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Ketch is a very flexible and easy-to-use platform for managing cookie consent across our website. The automatic cookie scanning and categorization saves a lot of time and makes it simple to keep everything accurate and up to date.

One of the things I really appreciated was how easy it was to configure consent rules for different jurisdictions. The platform lets you customize the banner experience based on location, and the customization options for the banner itself—colors, layout, language, and messaging—make it easy to match your brand and provide a smooth user experience.

The real-time updates are another great feature. We can make changes to the banner or settings without needing to touch the code or redeploy anything.

The support team at Ketch was fantastic during implementation. They were quick to respond, super helpful, and made sure we were set up for success from the start.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

The documentation can be a little hard to follow, especially when trying to do more advanced configurations or integrate with single-page apps.

I like that Ketch does the job, and when you actually switch the toggle, it works. Also, the onboarding agent was cool.

Overall, the implementation is not that simple, with many steps where a lot of things can go wrong. It is pretty hard, especially if you have a big site with many things. The initial setup was not very easy.

Ketch is solving several critical challenges for us across the data privacy landscape. As our Consent Management Platform (CMP), it ensures we maintain compliance with global privacy regulations by managing cookie tracking and user consent with precision and flexibility. It’s made it easy to align our web properties with evolving standards, while also respecting user preferences in a transparent and user-friendly way.

Beyond consent, Ketch has significantly improved our data privacy management processes. Their platform streamlines Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), making it simple to respond to users quickly and accurately. The built-in Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) capabilities help us proactively assess risks when launching new products or processes, which supports our privacy-by-design approach.

One of the most valuable features has been Sensitive Data Discovery—giving us visibility into where sensitive information exists across our systems so we can better protect and govern it.

From the jump of trying to determine fit and pricing, Ketch was easy to connect with and understand. And they were less than half the price of the first option we looked at. I felt like they were on our side as partners, helping us navigate the best choice for compliance software. Mike was especially helpful and available to jump on a call and configure our set up with myself and our developers. I can't recommend them enough.

There is nothing that I have disliked about Ketch so far. This process has been one of the best software implementations I've ever had.

We haven't run into any issues with Ketch. We had a problem with our Google Tag Manager disconnecting, but that issue seems to have resolved.

Ketch is a great automation tool that streamlined out data subject rights and web consents. It offers integration capabilities to automate rights and allows you to configure rights workflows easily. Their support team is very responsive and helpful, and their product team is open to product feedback. The documentation is also great and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

The interface is not always intuitive at times to new users. Their integrations for rights lack customizability. They do not allow you kick off scans adhoc.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ketch helps us operationalize DSARs and consent compliance at a larger scale compared to our previous platform. It automates intake, validation, routing, and semi-automated fulfillment across systems -- saving us manual headache and reduces human error. This has helps us improve our SLA adherence and cut down time for manual tasks.

It was very easy to get started with and seamlessly integrated with our existing production environment. It has a user friendly UI and extensive documentation. We would have liked for the documentation to be more easier to navigate though. Their support is great, agile and fast. Mike, our assigned contact point was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had during the implementation.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

We did have a few concerns on how the actual cookie scan worked and had a few hiccups but nothing that the team couldn't handle and work with us on.

It is making implementing a consent banner and acting on our website consents easy.

Simple to understand and implement, and completely customizable look and feel wise. We chose the guided support which was there each step of the process to answer any questions I had.

The only issue I had was with our logo in the consent dialogue which seems like it gets compressed to a point where it's almost a little blurry.

The platform itself is easy to navigate, and Mike Carey's help through the onboarding process was exactly what we needed  as our team migrated CMPs. He held weekly check in meetings with our team, making sure we stayed on track and addressed every part of our privacy setup. He walked us through each step that we required for our company requirements and ensured that nothing slipped through the cracks. By the time we wrapped up onboarding, we had full confidence in our setup and knew we were covering all our compliance needs.

We came in knowing very little about data management and privacy issues, and Ketch was able to work directly with us to implement a solution unique to our technical stack situation. The very knowledgeable and proactive team assigned to our account made sure that our implementation covered all of the regulatory, legal, and business areas we needed assurance were taken care of, and has continued to provide ongoing support and guidance around new and changing regulations in the field.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

The only issues we've had with Ketch have involved navigation of the UI. By nature, this needs to be a complex, detailed setup, and finding our way around the platform to make sure we had every region and purpose covered required us to do a bit of double-backing, but overall a minor inconvenience, and something Ketch reps were always able to help us with.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By providing consent and data privacy management options, our users feel that their data is more secure and that they have more options around how their data is handled, and we have more confidence that we're abiding by all regulations and doing right by our customers. We're now much less worried about the confusing and ever-shifting world of data privacy regulations across the world, and have a stronger relationship with our customer base.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

I am very impressed with Ketch's core consent management capabilities. The platform integrated seamlessly with our web environment, making it incredibly easy to manage consent and display user preferences quickly on the frontend. Their customer support, especially our dedicated CX representative and Slack channel, has been outstanding. I also highly value their integration with Google Tag Manager & RudderStack, which allows us to respect consent across all our systems. Furthermore, Ketch clearly outlines and provides solutions for the full scope of consent management requirements, emphasizing the need to stop data flow as well as stop actions in third-party systems for opted-out users, the latter often being overlooked by other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

My primary areas for improvement would be the React Native mobile app implementation, which required more custom code than anticipated to stop data sharing when a user opts out. I also found that some of their dedicated third-party integrations felt a bit early in their development, requiring us to request fixes before they worked as expected. However, the turnaround time and rapid support has greatly reduced any concerns. Lastly, the documentation, especially for integrations, could be more comprehensive and polished. Clearer explanations of integration functionality and a review of grammar and spelling would be beneficial as the platform continues to grow.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our ultimate goal with a consent management provider was to be compliant with CCPA and other US state privacy laws. Ketch solves our data privacy challenges by streamlining consent collection on our web and mobile environments, and enforcing those preferences across all our systems. This ensures we stop data flow and actions for opted-out users, which is crucial for CCPA compliance. Their clear guidance and reliable customer support helps us manage these complex requirements effectively.

What really stands out is how Ketch brings legal, privacy and tech teams together, making compliance a seamless part of business growth rather than a obstacle.  The customer service is exceptional and the fast response times and openness to feedback makes it all the difference.

I do wish there were broader integrations to data sourcs and more in-person training sessions to help teams get the most out of the platform.

We migrated so that we could have a more modern, streamlined, data-driven platform and Ketch has exactly what we need. The implementation process was incredibly easy, thanks to their clear documentation and inuitive user interface. But the true differentiator for Ketch is their exceptional client team. The team was always available when we needed them and they went above and beyond our expectations. This combination resulted in a wonderful learning experience for our team and a seamless integration with Ketch.

I highly recommend Ketch to any company looking to migrate away from legacy tools. Particularly if you're looking for low overhead and maintenance.

The admin UI could use some help, having all of the plan gated features still clickable in the UI leads to often ending up at the paywall when you are trying to find something else.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Ketch's innovative approach to integrating consent and preference management has been a game changer for our "small but mighty" team!

On the consent side, the tool offers simple, no-code integrations that made our migration from OneTrust to Ketch seamless. Beyond the ease of setup, we now have clear visibility into and control over the analytics and advertising technologies used by our digital marketing teams. This has significantly enhanced our confidence in maintaining compliance with global privacy regulations.

In terms of DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) capabilities, Ketch provides an intuitive "drag-and-drop" workflow builder and pre-built integrations for commonly used business systems. Over 90% of the in-scope business systems we use were already supported by pre-built connectors, eliminating the need for time-consuming custom API development.

Finally, Ketch's fantastic customer support stands out in the enterprise software space. Having direct access to product engineering teams has been a refreshing and invaluable resource. On multiple occasions, our Ketch account team has coordinated workshops with the Ketch product team to troubleshoot and solve problems—always with outstanding results!

Overall, I highly recommend Ketch and am thrilled we made the switch!

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

Ketch is still a new player in the market and while its core capabilities are strong (Consent and DSAR), there are still opportunities to grow (particularly with Risk Assessments and Notice Management). That being said, our Ketch account team has done a tremendous job at listening to feedback and communicating upcoming features.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Ketch has a great team of knowledgeable associates. They know the intricacies of how their product integrates with various business applications. Our account engineer was open to all questions and made themselves available to join calls with other vendors we work with to ensure all systems were synced together.

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

There is nothing we experienced during our onboarding and launch that would cause me to dislike Ketch.

**What problems is Ketch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we were launching Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, we needed a solution to add a cookie consent banner to our corporate website and a place to track all opt-ins/out. Ketch provided an easy-to-use platform that didn't require any technical training or background. The product is built with different countries' and states' privacy laws in mind, and our account representative provided examples of best practices for ensuring we provide a well-rounded customer experience. Not to mention, everything is customizable on the Ketch platform, meaning we were able to use branded language, logos and color palettes for the experience we show to website users.

**What do you like best about Ketch?**

Our company has been using Ketch for since June of 2024, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the platform! It’s an incredibly simple yet efficient solution for consent and rights management. We were able to complete implementation in 4 weeks, and it could quickly integrate into our system without any issues. The real highlight, however, was the implementation team. They were outstanding—knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They guided us every step of the way and ensured everything was running smoothly. If you’re looking for a reliable, user-friendly platform for managing consent and rights, we highly recommend Ketch!

**What do you dislike about Ketch?**

While Ketch is an excellent tool overall, there are a few areas of the UI that can be a bit confusing at first. Some features and settings might not be immediately intuitive, but these challenges are easily overcome with the guidance and support from the implementation team. They were very responsive and provided clear instructions to help navigate any complexities.
