Most online PDF tools upload your file to a server to do the work. KeptPDF does the work right in your browser: 25+ tools including redact, sign, compress, OCR, Bates numbering, exhibit stamps, organize, and compare. Your document is never uploaded, and you can verify that yourself instead of trusting a privacy policy: load the page, turn on Airplane Mode, and every tool still works. Redaction destroys the underlying text layer, so nothing survives copy-paste, and every job can produce a verifiable certificate. Built for files you cannot afford to leak: client records, discovery documents, medical charts, personnel files. Free tier with no account needed. Pro adds bulk actions, personal redaction lists, and data exports. Practice plans add shared redaction lists for teams.
