As per my experience it has never embarrassed me in terms of communication interface. **What do you dislike about KEPServerEX?** Nothing. Fully recommended **What problems is KEPServerEX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many Scada Softwares limit communication drivers. So using kepserver comes in handy. Like one can integrate any SCADA or HMI software with any device on any feasible communication protocol. ### 3. Also, it is so easy to integrate with PTC Thingworx and fetch data from plant floors. It supports around 160 industry-standard protocols, including Allen-Bradly, BACnet, MQTT, and more. Even if you don't have PLCs, you can simulate tags and their data. It is having hundrades of in-built simulation functions to. The best part is its help section. There they have explained evrything in a god way. Suppose if you dont know what a particular simulation function is doing, in the help section you can get it easily. **What do you dislike about KEPServerEX?** Kepware KEPServerEX is an awesome OPC. But still, it has some limitations. Here the maximum number of channels is limited. But you can have unlimited tags. It depends on the driver. For example, Allen-Bradly can have a maximum of 256 channels and BACne can have 100 only. Another thing I wouldn't say I like its price. Previously I have used KEPServerEX with an MES application, there we have paid and I felt that is fine. But while we are using it with PTC Thingworx, that time also we have to pay for it. **Recommendations to others considering KEPServerEX:** If you are digitalizing your industry, This is one of the must have tools you should have. It will provide you a faster way to digitalize your plants. **What problems is KEPServerEX solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currenty I am working in Industrial Automation sector. Here we use this tool a lot. KEPServerEX helps to get raw data/sensor data from plant floor in realtime. So we can monitor our plants, create dashboards, analyse the data out of it. We have multiple different devices with different protocols. All can be merged on this application so easily and get data from it. ### 4.
