**What do you like best about Kepion?**

Kepion is very flexible and easy to customize for budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning. I like how well it integrates with SQL Server and Power BI, and the Excel interface makes it easy for teams to adopt.

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

Building complex rules often requires SQL knowledge, which can be a challenge for non-technical users.

**What problems is Kepion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kepion helps our clients streamline budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation by replacing manual spreadsheets with an integrated platform. This has led to faster planning cycles, improved accuracy, and better visibility for management decisions.

**What do you like best about Kepion?**

Good Customer support when you contect Kepion

User friendly for the end user

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

That it is so easy to delete forms,rules and other stuff. Have the remove button at the right side but not at top where a user can accidentially remove a big rule or a form. 

Customer Support Portal is not good - hard to find solutions online

Cannot change name of forms afterwards

The user-friendly UI approach makes navigation and planning much easier compared to other tools, ensuring smooth adoption and usability.

Dashboard setup feel less flexible; data actions need step-by-step hints with examples to guide users effectively.

Kepion helps manage my financial planning stages effectively, aligning with requirements and providing structured workflows that streamline decision-making.

**What do you like best about Kepion?**

I love Kepion´s actual real-time calculation features, its budgeting and reporting functionality has been a great help in my business calculations; it is a versatile tool with a stable BI platform that has end-to-end encryption; I can design applications in the operations department to suit my personality.

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

I would not recommend it for small businesses; you have to integrate considerably to get the most out of it, which requires more investment; the interface is not very intuitive and can be improved. I often had to resort to technical support to understand the software and achieve a goal.

**What problems is Kepion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have created budgeting tools to evaluate what comes in and what goes out of the company; it allowed me to make sales forecasts that I can present to the executive for an evaluation of what we can achieve in the future with some products, creating reports and analysis all applied to finance.

**What do you like best about Kepion?**

What I like best about Kepion is the level of service and support we receive when we have questions or troubleshooting requests. Responses are typically quick and thorough in resolving any issues we have.

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

Using Kepion does require users to consistently access the application to learn how the system works and how to navigate to the correct reports. Overall, there is a relatively high learning curve and users will need adequate training internally.

**What problems is Kepion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Up until now, our organization did not have adequate internal tools to generate accurate budgets and forecasts. As of 2014, Kepion built a custom solution that gives us the capability to create detailed budgets for proposals and also the ability to track costs on those budgets after award.

**What do you like best about Kepion?**

Open framework - you can build any kind of model using any number of different dimensions and hiearchies. There are three preset dimension with special features - scenario, time, account. Abillity to implement a simple model very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

One input hierarchy within a dimension per model - to enter data on a different level you need dummy elements or a different model. No out-of-the-box planning features - currency conversion, data versions, you can build anything you want, but is not available as an already built in option.

**Recommendations to others considering Kepion:**

Great for smaller projects, goes very well with existing MS SQL server infrastructure.

**What problems is Kepion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Financial budgeting planning and forecasting, detailed sales planning in retail and pharmceutical industry, public sector. Shortened yearly planning cycles significantly, implemented rolling forecast, supported what-if scenario simulations.

I like the fact this software streamlines proforma reporting and removes the errors one can make when doing manual reporting via excel and SQL. 

**What do you dislike about Kepion?**

I dislike the fact that the errors I occasionally get are generic and do not allow me to determine why I am receiving them.

Financial reporting. Turn around time has decreased
