"Your security keys at hand"
5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

Too much security in the hands, the most complete security tool that stores all the keys of your life digitally. I really like the tool because you can have it as an executable at any time of life, wherever you want. It is portable and very unique. In fact the development and benefits are demante by the users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

The only thing that I do not like about the tool is that if you store it in the cloud as an executable backup file, you must link that the tool does not hang, since it depends a lot on opening the amount of shared keys that exist. In the same way it is part of a general security key, because if you forget the access code to the program or file, you lost everything, since there is no way to recover it easily. "Free and Excellent Password Manager"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

I can store all my passwords in a single file used by the app. The most important thing is the file is encrypted and to open it you will the app and the main password to access to the database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

It is kind of complex to use it in the mobile app. Well I think it wasn't developed to use it in mobiles. For me to be able to read the encrypted file with all my passwords, I stored the main file in Dropbox and from my Keepass mobile app and read the file and use it without issues. What do you dislike about KeePass?

The worst part of the application is that it does not use a common database with mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Precious Safety Vau;t"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

KeePass is a free password management solution that supports Windows and has unauthorised versions for Linux, Mac OS X, and mobile devices which are available on the official KeePass website. In contrast to the competition, the software is open-source and free of charge. KeePass provides several encryption standards, AES and Twofish, that ensure high-security level. The application could be customised to use cloud storage to sync data, but the databases are stored locally by default. You can keep your password database around, as developers offer a portable version of the software on a USB flash drive. KeePass is a fully customizable solution so that your passwords could be divided into categories to segregate data if you use different databases for specific actions. Importing the data from other sources such as web browsers, password managers, and generic password files is seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

Using KeePass for the first time might not be transparent, as the program brings up a blank interface and it may take some time to get started with it so that I suggest looking for a tutorial to configure the tool correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"KeePass - Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

First advantage is that KeePass is free. KeePass uses strong and secure encryption algorithms such as AES, ChaCha20 and Twofish, and SHA-256 hashes. KeePass automatically generates low-intuitive passwords (for each service). With the ability to create groups in KeePass, sorting passwords will be easier. KeePass is an open source password manager so people made version for Linuks, OS X, Pocket PC and Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

In my opinion first disadvantages is that KeePass have not very intuitive interface. The design is not user-friendly for new users of this program. In my opinion KeePass should pay more for opinion in others web sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"KEEPASS the virtual memory of keys"
5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

I like that it is a portable tool that is to say you can save the key file to be able to use it anywhere, you can save it in a cloud, without problem. It is a pretty safe, reliable tool and guarantees that you can establish a connection to any device, thanks to its key memory that has Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

I do not like that you have a lot of procedure just to see a key. additionally if you lose the key you can not re-enter as you do not have how to recover it. Also if you save it in the cloud and you do not have access you lose all the information, therefore it would be great to save it in the cloud and manage it with an encrypted security type Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"KeePass - All passwords in one place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

+ Keepass is a program that makes it very easy to manage static passwords. With its help, we will significantly increase the security of our accounts and simplify the authentication process (both on your computer, phone and tablet):

+ Secure storage of passwords for any service,

+ Automatic generation of hardly intuitive passwords (for each service),

+ Support for automatic logging (e. g. we can replace the password manager in Firefox),

+ Automatic creation of password database backup.

+ Works with Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, Blackberry and others,

+ It does not integrate with a specific program, it is a kind of "notepad for passwords";,

+ OpenSource - access to the source code guarantees security and easy expansion

+ Lightweight program with portable version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

Problems with database synchronization and opaque design.

Despite these small inconveniences, Keepass is a very flexible program that is easy to use and significantly increases security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Password Storage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about KeePass?

I love the ability it has to admit thousands and thousands of credentials even in the same database.

Add notes and update keys in different formats is very effective in organizations that implement a much greater security system daily.

The most exciting thing is that it is completely free and open source; so improvements can be made manually if you know something about programming.

It has impressive language support. High security capacity in encryptions for sending passwords as well as storing them; thus avoiding any brute force hacking methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KeePass?

The physical appearance is one of the main characteristics that I don't like. I find it very static, very simple for such a productive application.

Additionally, I mention that the saved passwords in the database do not synchronize. We have a workgroup in which we use the same database to manage passwords. The point is that when a password is updated, it should automatically update for others and it doesn't.

And finally, when this program is updated, the changes included in the update are not visible. I hope you can improve the aesthetics.

These are the main negative points I find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
