You do not have to be a programmer to perform tasks, that would otherwise seem too hard, almost impossible. Its easy to get up to speed in keboola and their academy ( free! ) is top notch and a must see for every beginner in our team. I like that the product is evolving all the time. **What do you dislike about Keboola?** Some product changes force me to re-write transformations/change their setup. Quite often we see changes in UI that seem a bit unnecessary. We would love to see some options like auto-retry in orchestrations, credit spend estimate for transformations, improved speed of UI and some other minor stuff. **Recommendations to others considering Keboola:** Go for it. It can really make a difference in your organization. It offers an easy way to connect data from different sources (databases, APIs, Google sheets, etc.), transform them and write them to other tools. **What do you dislike about Keboola?** One of most important Keboola's main components is a "generic extractor." Its usage can be quite hard for new users. Combining multiple levels of JSON data needs a deep understanding of the underlying source. Some advanced configurations of components are accessible only through Keboola's API. **Recommendations to others considering Keboola:** Don't be afraid to ask support dpt. for help with your extractions and transformations. In our BI department, we don't have many senior positions, mostly we are looking for people with junior / mid-level tech stack and on the other side with great attitude, hard workers and high motivation in self-education. In this case Keboola is a great tool. In its simplicity, people learn to work with tools quickly and they don't need a senior tech stack. Of course i need to mention your help center, which helps our people to figure out their problems really quickly. **What do you dislike about Keboola?** I must say just one thing and it is sandbox interface. I liked the old one - every transformation had a unique sandbox. I was able to fix a code quickly. For me with the new workspaces, it is not that easy. Because of new transformations which includes every phases of all data pipeline transformations you need load all input data. Besides workspace has new interface which is pretty complicated. One thing i hate the most. You need to use schema in every query in worskspace and after that you need to delete that schema when you are finish. **What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keboola is our main ETL tool so it helps us transform our company to a data-driven company. While doing so, sometimes, we have to let go of old working concepts. We are not switching off the old transformation, so you can still use them however you will be missing out on all new features related to new transformations. I like the wide range of components both in extractors and writers the most that you have huge flexibility to get and send data. **What do you dislike about Keboola?** It's great that we have version history at the transformations but the "compare with previous" function doesn't function well yet. It would be much better to see the whole code, the previous version on the left side, the current version on the right and the changes could be highlighted. I'm saying this because I often run into a problem that you don't know the code that you are investigating and if you see only the actual change between the versions it's so hard to make conclusions.
