## Keboola Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlines Data Prep with Some Learning Curves

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vojta F. | IT manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I like Keboola's clear interface and the wide range of data connections. The ready-made connections to services like Google Analytics and ERP systems are very good. It simplifies working with data, allowing us to get data from the system with just a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Working with data types in tables is a little more complicated and sometimes requires more trial and error before everything can be set up correctly. I would like more detailed help on 'what's wrong' when a transformation fails, especially in the case of data type errors. There's a situation where a data source, like Oracle, downloads data into a table in Keboola, and when this process is repeated, Keboola thinks it is a certain type, but the database sends a different one.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Keboola for transforming data from multiple sources and preparing it for BI. It solves problems with various data sources, formats, consolidation, and cleaning, allowing fast data analysis. It simplifies data work with a clear interface and many ready-made connections, saving us time and effort.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you very much, Vojta! We're glad you find Keboola clear and accessible, especially with SQL-based processing across various data sources—it's great to hear you're benefiting from our free tier, too. We'll keep working hard to continuously enhance the platform. Feel free to reach out anytime—happy analyzing! ML

  ### 2. Effortless Data Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I have been using Keboola for three years on a daily basis for all data manipulation needs in our company, and I absolutely love its intuitive and easy setup for data flows. The ease with which I can set up data flows, regardless of the type of connector I need, is remarkable. This makes handling diverse data sources seamless by standardizing them into a single table effortlessly. Furthermore, the support team is incredible; they always provide amazing assistance for any questions or problems that arise. The initial setup was really easy for my team, which certainly boosts our productivity. Overall, my experience with Keboola has been extremely positive, and I would score it 9 out of 10 for recommending it to others, contingent mainly on having colleagues or friends who require such a solution.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

I find the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) a bit confusing at times, particularly in how a small change in the first step of a transformation can have unforeseen impacts on later stages. It's getting better with new features, but it still poses a challenge.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Keboola to standardize diverse data sources into a single table, and its easy flow setup and excellent support enhance our data manipulation efficiency.

  ### 3. Helps connect multiple sources into perfect report, but social media connectors need improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It allows us to work with multiple sources while creating our internal performance report. We use only small parts of what Keboola offers, yet it has helped us a lot. Even someone without knowledge about SQL and other technical details was able to implement our service, with customer support always happy to help - if possible.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Some of the connectors do not work well - and that is our main pain point, as we are constantly fighting to keep the data coming from social media sites.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting multiple sources into one report is a difficult task in our moder times, and that is where Keboola shines, as it was able to connect to our exisitng Looker studio report.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with Keboola! 🙏
We’re thrilled to hear that Keboola has helped you streamline your reporting and connect multiple sources with ease.

  ### 4. Keboola is a great starter

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michal P. | Data Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It is there easy to setup from the beginning giving you fresh start when you need POC or smaller data project. It has many connectors , APIs to most common services, great support, wide user base providing you with many custom components. You can chain those components to flows and schedule the to run at particular times or being triggered by events.
It is easy to learn and give access to even newbies to play with.
There is visible progress in time with new features added.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Limited oversight what going on in the project you administer. Few access roles you have does not give you enough control of who can edit or trigger selected flows. It is either all or nothing. You can have multiple branches but conflict resolution was a big no to avoid it, no way to have pull requests.
The overhead running transformation is more significant running small jobs, what database returns you in seconds can take tens of seconds to finish in Keboola.
Billing is also something surprising to me. Especially running Python there to develop is something to better avoid.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to learn and setup tool to show we can extract data and do analysis on top of it to show results in days/weeks.
ELT tool that can be given access to to anyone.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience with Keboola! 🙏
We’re glad to hear that you find Keboola easy to set up, flexible for POCs and smaller data projects, and that our growing feature set and support team have been helpful along the way.

We also really appreciate your insights about access control, performance, and billing transparency. Feedback like yours helps us refine these areas to make Keboola even more powerful and efficient for all users.

Thanks again for your trust and for helping us improve! 🚀 ML

  ### 5. All-in-One Powerhouse for Coders, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam W. | University Advisor @ University of Colorado, Colorado Spring, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I love that it all makes my life easier as a coder and data analytics. It’s all in one tool.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

I dislike that there is a steep learning curve because it’s feature heavy.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s allowing me to truly understand and analyze my data in a low code environment. For someone that has a non software engineering background, this is the perfect tool to get the insights from my data.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you so much for your review and for sharing your experience with Keboola! 🙏
We’re thrilled to hear that Keboola helps make your work easier and brings everything you need for coding and data analytics into one place.

We understand your point about the learning curve — Keboola offers a lot of flexibility and power, which can take a bit of time to get used to. We’re actively improving our onboarding experience and adding more guided content to make it easier for everyone to get started quickly.

Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the Keboola community! 🚀 ML

  ### 6. A good tool for data processing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vojtěch A. | Senior PPC specialist and web analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I started using Keboola because I needed a replacement for the non-working Sklik connector for Looker Studio. And I've stuck with Keboola. The fact that I've seen mention of it in a number of job postings, and apparently it's commonly used in the industry, also played a role.

What I appreciate about it is the ability to download and process data from each system, ready-made templates and more. You get 120 minutes of time for free to start and then 60 minutes each month. This gives you a decent amount of time to learn and try everything out.

And not to forget the friendly customer support. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do as much as I can.

And I also appreciate the AI's help with writing Snowflake transformations, where especially a beginner can save a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Where I see its disadvantage is the fragmentation around setting up individual services. Each service has its own logic and might be worth unifying somehow.

The other thing I'm not a fan of is the Keboola Academy. I don't know why, but I found it hard to use. So I soon started looking for information elsewhere and eating by trial and error.

Maybe make it more practical and then for a beginner not be so quick to delete their projects. I didn't get around to it for two weeks and I already got an email around deleting the project.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the beginning it was a replacement for a non-working connector for Looker Studio, but it grew to a bigger size over time. My goal now is to use Keboola to download and process data from various services for Looker Studio. And eventually try more advanced things.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi Vojtech!

Thank you for your detailed and honest review! We're really glad that Keboola has grown with your needs—from solving an initial issue with Looker Studio to becoming a more advanced tool in your data workflow. It's also great to hear our templates, free tier, and AI-assisted transformations have been helpful, especially as you're getting started. And thank you for the kind words about our support team—they’ll be happy to hear it.

We really appreciate your feedback on the setup experience, the Academy, and project retention—it’s clear and actionable, and we’ll definitely take it into account as we work on making the platform more beginner-friendly and consistent. Thanks again for taking the time to share your journey.

  ### 7. Keboola - Streamlined Search, Complex Inserts – A Balanced Take

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh R. | Data Informatics Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Effortless Table Search: The ability to search for tables in storage is fast, accurate, and very user-friendly.

Column-Level Search: Searching for a specific column across tables is exceptionally smooth, saving time during data exploration.

Data Sample Feature: The option to preview a limited number of rows from a table helps with quick validation and data checks.

Simple Table Creation: Creating new tables is straightforward and efficient, with a clean UI that supports rapid schema setup.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Complex Insert Process: Inserting data into tables is not as intuitive as it should be, particularly when dealing with primary key definitions and updates.

Lack of Duplicate Row Logs: When duplicate rows are rejected due to primary key constraints, there’s no clear log showing how many rows were skipped or what those rows contained. A detailed error log would be highly beneficial.

Unintuitive Table Naming Convention: Table names include hyphens (-) instead of underscores (_), which can be problematic when integrating with other systems or adhering to naming standards.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized Data Operations: Keboola allows me to manage data pipelines, transformations, and storage in one place, reducing the need for multiple tools and simplifying the overall workflow.

Faster Data Discovery: The ability to quickly search for tables and columns saves me significant time when navigating large datasets or preparing data for analysis.

Quick Data Validation: The data sampling feature helps me instantly preview data without needing to run full queries—making troubleshooting and QA faster and more efficient.

Streamlined Table Setup: I can create new tables quickly without relying on complex scripts or external tools, allowing me to focus more on data logic than configuration.

Overall, Keboola accelerates my data engineering tasks, improves collaboration across teams by centralizing processes, and simplifies many of the repetitive steps typically involved in managing ETL workflows.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you very much, Rajesh, for your thorough and balanced feedback! We're delighted to hear you're finding great value in Keboola's table and column search capabilities, quick data sampling, and simplified table creation.

Your insights on data insertion complexities, especially regarding primary key handling and clearer duplicate row logging, are extremely valuable. We've noted your suggestion about the naming conventions as well, and we'll definitely take it into consideration to improve system compatibility.

We're committed to making your experience even smoother, so feel free to reach out anytime if you'd like assistance or to discuss these points further. Thanks again for helping us grow! ML

  ### 8. My Experience with Keboola as a Junior Data Analyst

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zbyněk V. | Data Quality Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I have to say that coming across Keboola at the beginning of my career as a Data Analyst was the best experience I could have had. The integration with Snowflake works flawlessly, making the workspaces intuitive. Keboola works even better when a company has strong Data Governance. The Keboola Academy helped me the most at the start, but I still return to it—and as I gain more experience, I continue to get even deeper context from it.
I use Keboola almost on a daily basis. I haven’t needed to contact customer support, as my supervisor is able to answer all of my questions.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

So far, I haven’t come across many things that would seriously bother me or make my work more difficult. However, one thing I do find frustrating is that after an error occurs in a transformation or configuration, the AI Explain tool doesn't work very well.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration with Salesforce when addressing or solving data quality issues

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi Zbynek,

Thank you for such a thoughtful and inspiring review!!!

We’re especially honored to hear that Keboola has been a positive part of your journey as a junior data analyst. That’s exactly what we strive for: making data work approachable, intuitive, and powerful for users at every stage of their career. It’s also great to hear that the Keboola Academy has been a useful companion as you’ve grown — we love knowing it’s helping both beginners and more advanced users alike.

Thanks for pointing out the issue with the AI Explain tool — that’s really valuable feedback. We know that error handling is a key moment in the data development workflow, and we’re continuously working to improve the accuracy and helpfulness of our error explanations, especially with AI assistance. Your experience will help guide those improvements.

Keep up the amazing work — we’re excited to keep supporting you as you continue to grow your skills and impact through data. ML

  ### 9. The Must Have Data Platform to Prepare for AI Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliot F. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Keboola is the tool every business should be using right now if they want to centralise their data, streamline operations and lay the foundation for AI. The platform makes it incredibly easy to connect data sources, automate transformation workflows and get data ready for analysis all without needing a large engineering team. The flexibility to use both no code and code based components (SQL/Python) is a game changer and it empowers both analysts and engineers to collaborate in one place.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you're not used to data pipeline tools, but the documentation is strong and the customer support is excellent. Once you’ve built your first few pipelines, everything clicks into place.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Keboola, data was scattered across systems, spreadsheets and cloud apps. Now, we have a centralised, governed data infrastructure that supports everything from basic dashboards to advanced AI use cases. We’re saving hours every week on manual reporting and have drastically improved data accuracy. Most importantly, we’re now in a strong position to start deploying AI and machine learning tools across the business because our data is clean, connected and under control.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi Elliot,

Thank you so much for this incredible review — it really means a lot coming from you.

You perfectly captured what we aim to deliver with Keboola: a flexible, powerful platform that makes collaboration easy and helps teams move fast without getting bogged down in complexity. It's amazing to hear how Keboola has helped you streamline operations and lay a solid data foundation for your AI initiatives.

We’re especially lucky to have you as part of the Keboola community. Your insight, feedback, and support over the years have been a huge part of our journey — and we’re always excited to see what you’ll build next.

Here’s to even more data wins ahead! ML

  ### 10. Keboola is an invaluable data assistant.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michal K. | Head of Business Intelligence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

What I like most is that Keboola is a very simple tool, allowing even a single person to manage the data pipelines of a large company.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

I would require better data transferring. I’d appreciate an improved way to move tables from one data bucket to another.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keboola solves the complexity of managing and automating data pipelines. It helps unify data from various sources, transform it, and move it to the right destinations — all without needing a large data engineering team.

The biggest benefit for me is how easy it is to use. Even as a single person, I can manage the data operations of a large company. I don’t need to write complex code for every task, and thanks to Keboola’s modular approach, I can build and monitor pipelines quickly and reliably.

Additionally, it saves a lot of time and reduces errors, because many steps are automated or standardized. But I would appreciate better support for transferring tables between data buckets, as that part could be more user-friendly.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi Michal,

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience — it really means a lot to us!

We’re thrilled to hear that Keboola helps you manage the data operations of a large company as a single person. Making data work simpler, faster, and more scalable for individuals and small teams is one of our core goals, so your feedback hits home.

You also bring up an important point — the current process of moving tables between buckets could definitely be smoother. You’re not alone in this request, and we hear you. We’re actively looking into how we can improve data bucket management and make table transfers more intuitive and efficient.

Thanks again for your thoughtful review — and for trusting Keboola as your “data assistant.” If you ever want to share more feedback or ideas, we’d love to chat! ML

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Simply connect your data source, drag and drop fonction, no development skills required, and boom you can build your data insight dashboard and have a data driven insight

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The solution is well designed but require a minimum of understanding of data source connection. That means you will probably need help from your developer or ingenieer

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solve a commun problem, usually customer needs to build an infrastructure to do so but keboola provide a ready to use environment to start using data insight in a minimum time and per exemple create a new product or service with a very short go to market time based on our data

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Keboola simplifies data integration and pipeline management, enabling quick setup and reliable data workflows for our team.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The UI, while improved, occasionally has minor bugs, and I’d appreciate keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation.

  ### 13. Orgasm, but in data field and better

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel . | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

This is the second company where we use Keboola and it has always been easy both in onboarding and other implementations and integration. Here we use on a daily basis.
Lots of native extractors, but you can write your own via API or python script.
Sometimes I make up problems just so I can take a moment to write to Zora from customer support.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

There is no ERD.
I'm on my knees begging for an extension of the data destination component to BQ with the ability to partition and cluster by.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important part of Keboola for us are definitely extractors, which we use to connect to all SSPs (Supply-Side Platform), where each SSP provides us with data through a different type of connection (API, CSV in email, Gsheet, database...)

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you so much for this amazing review — we absolutely loved reading it! 🙏
We’re thrilled to hear that Keboola continues to make a difference for your team and that you’ve found value in both our native extractors and the flexibility to build your own via API or Python. And we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Zora — she’ll love it!

We appreciate your note about ERD and BQ component extensions — our product team is continuously improving those areas, and your feedback helps us prioritize the right features.

Thanks again for your trust, humor, and for being such an engaged Keboola user! 🚀 ML

  ### 14. Great multi-purpose tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominik V. | IT Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It can solve a lot of our problems so far. The support is very helpful. The documentation is mostly updated, so you can find a lot of things yourself. We use it on a daily basis, for now for smaller clients. 90% of use cases already have a ready-made plug and play solution, so it is suitable even for beginners.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Sometimes the documentation is not updated in a timely manner, for example when a 3rd party modifies the UI of their website and you then have to spend a lot of time looking for what to set to make everything work.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to very quickly set up downloading from new data sources, data management and subsequent use within tools such as PowerBI.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thanks a lot for your review, Dominik! We're happy to hear that Keboola helps you solve a wide range of problems efficiently and that the platform suits both daily workflows and beginner-friendly use cases. Your feedback on documentation timing is spot-on—especially when third-party changes occur—and it’s something we’re actively working to improve. Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!

The PAYG fee is extremely convenient compared to other services if your Data is still small
In-Built and super easy to use Production/Development environments
A lot of ready to use connections to most popular tools

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The user interface gets a bit messy when you start having a lot of flows
For the same reason troubleshouting can be tricky at times

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our main tool for data analysis and data aggregator.
It also helps a lot that it provision a Snowflake without any need to create your own DB and having different billings (really convenient when you are in a small company)

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi Simone,

Thanks a ton for the great review — and for highlighting the things that make Keboola a good fit for small data teams. We’re so glad to hear the setup was smooth, the Snowflake provisioning is saving you time and cost, and that the PAYG model works well for your needs. That’s exactly what we’re aiming for: giving teams a powerful platform without unnecessary overhead.

You’re absolutely right about the UI getting a bit crowded with many flows — and how that can make troubleshooting trickier. It’s something we’re actively working to improve, so your feedback is very timely.

We really appreciate you being part of the Keboola community and helping us build a better product with insights like these! ML

  ### 17. Great and powerful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I love the support we get from you guys. Your customer support is excellent, and it doesn't matter if the issue is technical or we just need you to confirm or deny something. Although I was a new user to the whole platform, your academy helped me a lot, and a lot of stuff was intuitive, which made my onboarding easier. I've been using Keboola for 2 years now, and the product is improving. I've had the pleasure of meeting some of the guys working in Keboola, and they are always open to feedback.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

I wouldn't say dislike, but ofcourse, sometimes there are little frustrating things, but nothing major. The product suits me right now; we will see what lies ahead.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by allowing me to orchestrate daily data workflows across multiple sources (e.g., Snowflake, MongoDB, Hubspot) without writing full custom pipelines, saving time and reducing manual effort. I use it daily to handle the full ETL process from raw data ingestion to loading into Snowflake for analytics.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for the kind and thoughtful review! We're really glad to hear that Keboola has made your onboarding smooth and continues to support your daily workflows across multiple data sources. It's great to know the Academy and support team have been helpful, and we appreciate your recognition of the ongoing product improvements. Your feedback—past, present, and future—truly helps us shape a better platform.

  ### 18. Powerful Data Platform with Excellent Support, but a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Keboola brings a lot of value by covering the entire data lifecycle, from integration and transformation to orchestration and exporting data to other tools. I love that I can build and manage complex workflows all in one place without needing to stitch together multiple platforms. It saves time and helps maintain consistency across projects.

Another huge plus is their customer support. The response time is impressively fast, and the team is genuinely helpful. They actually take the time to understand your problem and walk you through a solution. That level of support makes a big difference when you're working on something critical.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The platform can be quite overwhelming at first. The user interface isn't the most intuitive and learning how to navigate and use all the features effectively takes time. The learning curve is definitely something to be aware of, especially if you're new to data platforms or coming from a more visual/low-code environment.

I think there's room for improvement in onboarding and UI/UX design. Even some small additions like more contextual tips or in-app tutorials could go a long way in helping new users feel more confident faster.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps automate what used to be a manual, fragmented process and makes our data more reliable and accessible. Having all these steps managed in one platform saves time and improves the consistency of our analytics.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review! We're really glad to hear that Keboola helps streamline your entire data workflow and that our support team has made a meaningful impact—we’ll be sure to share your kind words with them.

Your feedback on the learning curve and UI/UX is spot-on and greatly appreciated. We're actively working to improve onboarding and add more in-app guidance to make getting started smoother for everyone. Thanks again for sharing your experience—it helps us get better.

  ### 19. My Experience with Keboola is Over-all very good, it's a great All-in-one Data Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Keboola is a great platform with a very clean and easy-to-use GUI. It offers a wide range of pre-built extractors and writers for many types of databases and services, which saves a lot of time. Building data pipelines (flows) is intuitive, and there are multiple ways to trigger them, making automation straightforward.

The customer support is consistently helpful, and I genuinely get the feeling that they care about solving the problem, not just closing the ticket.

Being Snowflake-native is a huge plus, and the platform also supports no-code transformations, R, and Python. This flexibility makes it easy to implement virtually any logic or integration you need.

As a day-to-day user, I can say I’m genuinely satisfied and glad we chose Keboola.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Keboola is primarily a batch-based system, so if your architecture is real-time or Kafka-based, you probably won’t be satisfied. In my opinion, Keboola is built to manage large-scale data stacks, millions of rows, on top of Snowflake, which it handles very well.

However, it’s best suited for data that can be ingested on an hourly basis or less frequent. If you try to push data in every few minutes, it becomes costly very quickly, and you start pushing against the design limits of the platform.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

extracting data from raw systems and making guaranteed connected layers for reporting

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful review — we really appreciate it!

It’s great to hear that you're finding value in Keboola’s intuitive interface, the wide range of connectors, and especially the flexibility with transformations. We’re also thrilled that our support team has made a positive impression — they genuinely care about our users, so your words mean a lot.

You’re absolutely right that Keboola is built for batch-based processing, and your feedback about the limitations for real-time ingestion is spot-on. While we continue to focus on making large-scale data orchestration seamless and cost-effective, we’re always exploring ways to better support different architectures, including more real-time use cases. Your input helps guide those conversations — so thank you!

We’re glad to be part of your data journey and appreciate the trust you've placed in us. If you ever have ideas, questions, or just want to geek out over data, we're here. ML

  ### 20. Enabling small agile data teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It took me just under one week to learn just enough so I could make my own data pipelines without a team of data and analytical engineers. Ease of use enabled our micro team of two to cover data needs of entire company.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Currently there is nothing to dislike. Keboola is being continuously developed and improved.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost entire data pipeline from extraction – there are pre-defined extractors for most of the services we use and those without them are accessible through generic extractors with easy-to-learn syntax – through transformation, with nicely visualised dependencies and flows, to loading to our data warehouse.

The main benefit is ease to use. We're a small team of generalists and Keboola enables us to focus on the most important parts with the highest added value without a need to hire specialized data engineers.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! It's fantastic to hear how quickly you've been able to independently build your data pipelines and support your company's entire data needs with Keboola—exactly what we aim to empower. We're especially glad that our ease of use helps your small team stay agile and focused on delivering value. If you ever see areas where we could further enhance your experience, please don't hesitate to share. Happy data wrangling! ML

  ### 21. Im long term Keboola user on many different types of data projects.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Easy data governance, you are able to create whatever type of data architecture you need with almost no limitation.
Comfortable tool for orchestration of my dataflows.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Accesibility of data - for each check I basicaly need to set up a new workspace and it takes times and get confusing after a while. I usually work in multi-project setup, so I need one workspace for each project at least...
Sometimes the UI sucks, need to refresh new setting few time before the changes shows up.
Im also missing my raw editing mode - possibility to edit setting jsons of tranformations and other component. Seems this feature was partly blocked recently.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily orchestation of our data flows. Helps to keep company with fresh data for decision making.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for sticking with us and using Keboola across so many projects — we truly appreciate your long-term trust and support!

It’s great to hear that you find value in our approach to data governance and orchestration. Giving our users the freedom to build any architecture they need is something we strive for, so it’s great to know that flexibility is working well for you.

We also really appreciate the constructive feedback. You’re right — the need to spin up multiple workspaces for quick checks in multi-project setups can be frustrating, especially when you’re moving fast. We’re actively discussing how to improve this experience. Same goes for the UI inconsistencies you mentioned — we know that occasional refresh issues are annoying, and our team is working to iron those out.

Your note on missing the raw editing mode is especially helpful. We understand that advanced users like yourself rely on this kind of control, and we’re reviewing how we can bring back that power in a way that’s still safe and manageable for all users.

Thanks again for sharing both the good and the "needs-improvement" — feedback like this helps us evolve. And if you ever want to dive deeper into your ideas, we’d love to hear more! ML

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

- simple to understand
- even a less experienced user can start using it
- many ready-to-use components for extract and write data
- great conditional flows
- possibility to connect AI (MCP)
- fast support
- Czech firm :)

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

- debugging errors can be challenging for new users (making the process less intuitive)
- when sharing the data via data catalogue (tables), it is not possible to add a new table

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

advertising revenue, client information

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

  ### 23. SQL ELT on steroids for non-engineer business users.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

- all user action versioned automatically (no need to commit, you can rollback any time)
- dynamic backend - can choose the warehouse size based on data size
- very easy flows/orchestrations triggered by time or changes in other tables
- many parts accessible via API
- once sql developers creates ELT the business user can manage it and extend its usage (simple to edit sql)
- pre-build components for input and output, reading/writing from xlsx, gsheets, ext db

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

- search text in sql editor is not user friendly

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data from many internal systems gets to keboola -> snowflake, we clean it there, create domain models and prepare it for tableau reporting. Whole data warehouse runs in keboola.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> It's great to hear that Keboola is helping you clean and prepare data for Tableau reporting. ### 24. Agile Platform with Stellar Support, but lacks Data Modeling and Lineage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Keboola is an exceptional platform for accelerating data-driven decision-making across all areas of the organization. Its greatest strengths lie in the platform’s agility and the outstanding responsiveness and availability of the Keboola support team.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The primary drawback is the limited support for standardization, data modeling, and comprehensive data lineage capabilities.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast and efficient data integrations from diverse source systems to support data analytics and data science processes.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review and for highlighting both the strengths and areas for improvement! 🙏
We’re delighted to hear that Keboola’s agility and support team have made a strong impression — we take great pride in helping our users move faster with data.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding data modeling and lineage. These are key areas we’re actively enhancing to provide deeper transparency and governance across the entire data flow. Your input helps guide those improvements, and we’d love to keep the conversation going as new capabilities roll out.

Thanks again for being part of the Keboola community! 🚀 ML

  ### 25. Scalable and Intuitive ETL Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

As Head of Data Engineering, I appreciate Keboola’s modular approach. The drag-and-drop orchestration canvas makes it easy to assemble complex data flows, while a rich library of pre-built connectors lets us onboard new data sources in minutes. The platform’s transparent job logging and version control give my team full visibility into each pipeline, aiding debugging and auditability. Moreover, Keboola’s cloud-native architecture scales effortlessly to handle growing data volumes without additional infrastructure overhead.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

It lacks more advanced data-flow monitoring capabilities—such as a centralized DataHub-style catalog—and built-in real-time processing.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keboola eliminates the fragmentation of our ad-hoc scripts and one-off integrations by providing a unified platform for data orchestration, transformation, and storage. Because it’s so simple and fast to configure, we spin up dozens of MVP processes directly on Keboola—whether it’s a new marketing data sync, a customer-segmentation pipeline, or a finance reporting workflow. This agility lets us iterate quickly, validate ideas in days instead of weeks, and consolidate many proof-of-concepts into production-grade pipelines without rebuilding them from scratch.

**Official Response from Jiri Manas:**

> Thank you very much for the review, we trully appreciate it. Also the "what to improve" comments are super helpful and will look at it!
J.

  ### 26. Keboola - a powerful, cloud ETL solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

The ease of use and how quick is to set up a project. It is very easy to validate some ideas and make POC. Also the development of new features to make engineering easier is nice (e.g. workspace that can read all data in Keboola so you do not need to go to tables in FE).

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Mainly, it is quite pricey and the larger the project, the more you feel it. It is quite difficult to move the POC to other solutions.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is great that there is a lot of prepares extractors of data from a lot of platforms. We don't need to support those extractors.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you for your detailed review and for sharing your experience with Keboola! 🙏
We’re delighted to hear that you find Keboola powerful and easy to use for quick project setup, validation, and POCs — that’s exactly what we aim for with our cloud ETL platform.

We appreciate your feedback about pricing and POC migration. We understand these can be important considerations, especially for growing projects, and we’re constantly evaluating ways to deliver even greater value and flexibility.

Thanks again for your trust and for using Keboola! 🚀 ML

  ### 27. A Swiss Pocket Knife for Data Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It nicely blends ease of use and versatility. I know that it is able to handle whatever data project hits us. It also allows us to stand up any pilot in no time. Their support people are exceptional, the friendliest and most helpful bunch I have ever worked with at any software provider. They are also fast to explore new trends and potentially adapt these that make sense.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The documentation is sometimes incomplete and in multiple different places. There is frequent staff turnover in customer facing teams and information does not flow thru the company, so sometimes I find myself having to supplement their internal company communication in order to get things moving.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ETL, Data Accessibility, Data Governance - Everything under one roof, it is clear what everyone touched and where issues are if something goes down. Also, new things are quick to build and easy to maintain

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for the fantastic review — being called a “Swiss Pocket Knife for Data Operations” absolutely made our day!

It’s great to hear that Keboola’s mix of simplicity and versatility is helping you tackle data projects of all shapes and sizes. We’re especially happy to know that you can spin up pilots quickly and count on our platform to scale with your needs. And we’ll make sure to pass on your kind words to our support team — they truly care about helping our users succeed, and feedback like this means the world to them.

We also really appreciate your honest notes about where we can do better. You're right — documentation should be complete, centralized, and easy to follow, and we’re working on that. Your comment about communication gaps caused by internal turnover is also valid. We're aware of how this can affect the user experience, and we're actively improving our internal processes to keep knowledge flowing smoothly and consistently.

Thank you for continuing to work with us and for helping us grow with your candid insights. If you ever have suggestions on how we can make things better, we’re all ears. ML

  ### 28. Keboola provides an outstanding user interface that simplifies data management.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Its clarity and simplicity make it easy to use, and thanks to Keboola components, it also offers great modularity for building flexible data workflows.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The Keboola CLI doesn't allow setting a custom max timeout for uploading large files — it's fixed by default. It would be great if uploading tables larger than 15 GB didn’t cause the job to fail during table creation.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keboola streamlines data integration, transformation, and orchestration across multiple sources. It eliminates the need for complex infrastructure setup and manual data pipelines, allowing us to automate workflows, speed up data delivery, and focus more on analysis and decision-making rather than on maintenance.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for the great review! We're glad you appreciate Keboola's clean interface and flexible, modular design for building data workflows. Your feedback about the CLI timeout for large uploads is very helpful—we understand how frustrating that can be and will definitely take it into account as we improve file handling. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

The ability to connect to the different data sources. In my case, it supports all the major data sources and it becomes super useful to get data from all data sources at one place.

And the event logs under each project for each and every activity is super helpful

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The situation of joining the projects each time despite of having access on the project.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us provide a user layer for our end users for the data residing in the Bigquery and Teradata like data warehouses.
It gives a great platform to data users who are not super technical.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Keboola's ability to connect to different data sources super useful for your needs. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience for accessing data from various sources. The experience you've mentioned with joining to project it worth exploring further. ### 31. Good product but unfortunate price increase

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua W. | Technical Procurement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Our account manager and the overall sales/level of support process was great. The product is fit for purpose and was an integral part of our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

The price increases were eye-watering to the point we had to migrate into Microsoft Fabric for a fraction of the price. Cost increases will be the death of software companies like Keboola unless they learn to reign it in. The problem is, everything they do, you can do in the likes of Fabric for a lot less.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to build pipelines for internal and external use cases.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Thank you, Joshua, for your candid and valuable feedback. We're happy to hear that our product, support, and account management positively impacted your data operations and tech stack. At the same time, we genuinely appreciate your openness regarding our pricing—your concerns have been noted and taken seriously. We're continuously reviewing our offerings to strike the right balance between value and cost. If you're open to discussing this further or considering ways to optimize costs, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks again for helping us improve! ML

**Recommendations to others considering Keboola:**

Try the free version and see for yourself

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It is easy to use. It has lot of native tools, that can be used from scratch. Very easy to create data pipelines and orchestrations.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Keboola lacks flexibility of doing additional optimizations on speed and cost of transformations. So when your organization is bigger and you spent much more money on using Keboola, there is limited amount of things you can do to optimize.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have whole data processing for company in Keboola. We use it for reporting, automation, data preparation for ML.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review! We’re glad to hear Keboola makes it easy for you to build pipelines and orchestrate data quickly.

We appreciate the feedback on optimization — it's a fair point, especially for growing teams. We're actively working on giving users more control over performance and cost tuning, so stay tuned.

Thanks again for trusting us with your data operations! ML

Integration and transformation of internal business data.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

  ### 37. Perfect to kickstart your data infrastructure

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

It's very easy to set up whole data pipelines, including many pre-built extractors for many popular data sources, and providing own Snowflake to each customer. Customer Support reacts pretty fast and is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

Once the projects get large (especially with multi-project architecture), the official safe development environment is not handled the best, and requires usually very niche custom solutions to be able to reliably handle development and deployment.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data warehousing, provides all parts of ETL.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there!

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad to hear that Keboola's easy setup, pre-built extractors, and dedicated Snowflake instance have made launching your data pipelines straightforward. It's great our Customer Support team has been responsive and helpful for you.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

Relatively easy to learn and use, all features are name clearly, highly customisable (descriptions, names for transformations etc...), ability to use different formats of sources.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

windows could be more compact. I prefer to have more things on one place... it's highly personal, I know...

+ I would add to every transformation, writer etc some kind of cost estimation.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps even for beginners to manage data flows over the company. It's quick and clear.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I enjoy the wide variety of connectors (primarily I use marketing tools connectors, add a few transformations in SQL/Python and export to Google Sheets). The drag-and-drop interface is very intuitive. I really like the scheduling and automations functionality. A few times I contacted the Customer Support and the reply was always helpful and swift.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

There could be more beginner-friendly features or education for non-technical users.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating routine ETL tasks to run my dashboards.

  ### 43. Keboola is good in general for data workflows but with some cons as well

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

  ### 44. Keboola offers a lot of very useful tools for preparing and processing data.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Keboola?**

I think the biggest pro is that there is a great choice of plugins for extractors and writers.

**What do you dislike about Keboola?**

There should be better documentation for each plugin. I would appreciate it if Keboola had its own mobile app so it could be used anywhere.

**What problems is Keboola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I need to pair some rows in two different tables without a relationship and I need to make a few temporary tables to do it, Keboola transformation with Snowflake is the best option.
I like the possibility to filter data in input so I do not have to import the whole big table.

**Official Response from Martin Lepka:**

> Hi there,

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with Keboola — we’re really glad to hear you're enjoying the platform!

It’s great to know that our wide range of extractors and writers is helping you move faster and more flexibly with your data workflows. And we're especially happy to hear you're finding value in how transformations work with Snowflake — including filtering input data before loading. That kind of efficiency is exactly what we aim to support.

We also really appreciate your suggestions. You’re absolutely right — clearer, more consistent plugin documentation is something we’re actively working on improving. And the idea of a mobile app? That’s a great call. While we don’t have one today, it’s helpful to know that mobile access would bring value to your workflow.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review — and for helping us shape what comes next. ML
