It is a feature-full, plugin extensible IDE for C/C++ and other programming languages. Also, it has a feature-full plugin extensible IDE for PHP, Python, C, C++ and more. **What do you dislike about KDevelop?** Sometimes it gets slow and has poor customer support, but nowadays, it works fine. **What problems is KDevelop solving and how is that benefiting you?** It improved the quality and also the productivity of the code. ### 2. Its version control and code completion feature helps me write programs faster. ### 4. Its GUI debugger is great, and beats gdb hands down. **What do you dislike about KDevelop?** The GUI debugger does not expose advanced features of gdb. Workaround: it is possible to execute gdb commands directly. **Recommendations to others considering KDevelop:** If you are still using emacs or vim, give KDevelop a try. **What problems is KDevelop solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was doing research and development on Linux as a research assistant. With the GUI interface of KDevelop, I was able to develop and debug code more quickly than in a text editor such as emacs. ### 5.
