Excellent communication platform between parents and caregivers **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023 **What do you like best about Kaymbu?** Appreciate the ability to deploy notifications in real time, upload pdfs, photos, and more to maintain communication between caregivers and parents. Great for classrooms and caregiver teams (daycares, preschools, caregiving agencies). My team has used it for everything from distributing caregiver newsletters to policy updates, important date reminders, and individual child daily reports. We used it in a backup childcare setting with some of our affiliated childcare agencies. Appreciate that email and push notifications are both available. **What do you dislike about Kaymbu?** The interface could be more user friendly and easy to navigate for caregivers and teachers, especially knowing they are using this tool during a childcare session or in the middle of a school/daycare day. **What problems is Kaymbu solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to maintain clear, updated, relevant, timely information by communicating with parents of multiple children/students at the same time. The ability to send comms via push notification and email is pretty huge, especially when it comes to reminders about parent conferences, school vacation/camp schedules, and other time-sensitive info. Parents appreciate seeing updates come through on their phone so it doesn't get buried in email. ### 2. We used to for storyboards and to communicate certain things about the child's day that would get sent right to the parents email. **What do you dislike about Kaymbu?** The thing I disliked most about Kaymbu was that on many occasions we would lose our work due to the app crashing and there was no way to retrieve it, so we would have to start over. **Recommendations to others considering Kaymbu:** Make sure to have your work saved somewhere else as well just in case the app crashes so you don't completely lose your work. **What problems is Kaymbu solving and how is that benefiting you?** It most helped with parent communication. Sometimes you don't always get to catch the parents at the end of the day. Kaymbu made it easy to send home a little note saying that their child needed extra clothes or more sunscreen. ### 3. The fact that you could share pictures and documents right with the parents was convenient. **What do you dislike about Kaymbu?** I felt the ease of use could have been better.
