Kasm is great for any company or person looking to be able to create and dispose of a secure desktop. The Kasm user interface is simple, clean and appealing. Kasm lets users to upload, download, all while allowing the admin control over those settings. From an administrator standpoint, adding users to groups and controlling user settings is easily facilitated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't really anything to dislike about Kasm. I do wish that it alphabetized users, once placed in a group instead of by date added to group. A 'sort by' drop down, filter menu would be any easy fix to that, giving admins the ability to sort by 'date added' or 'A to Z'. No other reasons to dislike Kasm. Gone are the days where you need to VPN into an environment, deal with clunky applications to tunnel and display remote sessions, and managing VMs for isolating from your workstation. The ease of use, UI, and efficiency retained is a new concept to me when using a VDI. Uploading files, seamless clipboard integration, and the responsiveness make it for an enjoyable experience. There's not much to dislike - things that bother me can be changed by customization of the image to allow more privilege, different OS, etc. I have had an error message that wasn't very descriptive of the issue that was present, but this was resolved in a later release. Kasm is easy to use and can easily be accessed through the browser without the need to install software. On the administration side, Kasm gives the ability to control users' access by placing them in groups and the ability to view users who are currently logged in and when they were last active.
