KASM OSINT is the absolute GOLD STANDARD in cloud osint platforms that are readily booted up and destroyed on the fly. Need an instance for 30 seconds to open a malicious link, or detonate a file? Kasm has your back, and provides you the ability to SAFELY do what you need to do. The UI/UX is amazing and easy to use. Performance is awesome for a cloud app platform, the PRICING is UNBEATABLE! Their ability to integrate with other software is awesome, and theyre always there to provide support - from complex questions to quick technical asks. I appreciate that Kasm Workspaces gives us full control over the data collection process and maintains the integrity of the collected data. The platform is very user-friendly, and their team has been incredibly friendly and helpful. So far, Kasm checks every box we need checked, and it’s by far the easiest to deploy on our own hardware. For a VDI solution, it's excellent, it integrates with windows and linux very easily. Most staff who are not completely IT literate find it very easy to use. On setup, implementing Kasm into your workplace is very easy, and the support team (customer support) are swift to answer any queries on their helpdesk. Currently, users can use RDP to get to terminal servers, or a terminal server in the web browser, or even the application itself presented in the browser. Key highlights: Speed and lightweight containers: Workspaces launch quickly and use fewer resources than traditional VMs. Security: Sessions are isolated, ephemeral, and easily managed—great for zero-trust environments. Accessibility: Since it runs in a browser, users can access a consistent desktop from virtually any device. Customizability: Admins can configure and deploy specific environments tailored to individual or organizational needs. Browser dependency: While the browser-based access is convenient, it can sometimes lead to issues with responsiveness or compatibility depending on the browser or internet quality. We use Kasm workspaces on a standalone server with the concurrent license option to provide acess to training environments and as secured platform for our sales team to access online assets. The standalone server has worked well aside from some configuration challenges to ensure each workspace has adequate resources. These issues were reasonably well documents although I did open a support ticket which was resolved quickly. Different users belong to groups and are automatically presented with the assets they need when logging in. This simplfies our deployment and minimizes the time it takes to roll out updates. We've customized the browser workspaces for each group so each of their required tabs are loaded and opened and they have shortcuts to all the items them might need. The automated upgrade script didn't work and after the reboot the server showed a non-sensical error message about not being online and we had to restore the server. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to set up Workspaces and integrate it with Microsoft Identity. Since going live, we've experienced minimal issues with the servers, and the system's stability has been excellent. The user-friendly interface has also reduced the number of helpdesk tickets, making the overall experience smooth for both users and support teams. When we have an incident and need a workspace to open a suspect file, URL or investigate a potentially nefarious site, it’s nice knowing that you’re not going to accidently drop payload on your internal network. The volatility of this platform is a big advantage! You can have your personnal desktop everywhere you go as long as you have a computer with internet, you can also run tools that you may not want to install directly on your computer, or that are not really compatible (When you are using macOS for exemple) and the fact that the desktop session are throwable and temporary, make it really secure and the best working place for a cybersecurity enginneer ! I especially love to run Kali Linux on Kasm Workspace as you don't need to worry for anything or have to install Kali Linux everytime you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It would be awesome to have others OS avalaible such as Windows even if it's not easy to implement as it's not open-source, I think that it can add a big thing for Linux or macOS user to run Windows only application, or even for workspace environnement. And also, it may be great to make the network and security configuration easier, as if you want to isolate the network in each sessions, you need to go in advanced settings. You can have throwable pentesting sessions with Kali Linux and Parrot OS that make it very versatile and ease of use !
