## Kaseya VSA Reviews
  ### 1. A convenient way to administer endpoints in a hybrid environment

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

With Kaseya VSA being cloud-based, administration can be accomplished on any endpoint connected to the internet.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Sometimes, automation "agent procedures" do not execute immediately, and you have no status as to when they will run on an endpoint.

Team members no longer have to be connected to a corporate VPN in order to be administered. Our support team has the capability to address problems on any web-connected workstation, anywhere on the planet.

  ### 6. Only Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Automation and agent procedures. I can interact with a hundred computers at once as if I were sitting in front of them.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

My only gripe with Kaseya at the moment is the ridiculously short "create a new password" timer after recovering from the breach last year.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Go for it. No frills or fancy interfaces, just results.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch management, automated scripts, monitoring, reporting, remote access, everything you could need as an MSP or IT shop.

  ### 7. Kaseya review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

I've been using Kaseya for 9 years and it has been pretty solid for the most part. It's easy to use and provides the needs for our MSP. The detail of device info is a huge plus over other VSAs.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya had a major security flaw recently but was able to spring back and correct all issues.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kaseya monitoring has been steady and allows us to assist with outages quickly.

  ### 8. Fantastic Remote Utility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

I love that you have full control over remote control with my staff. With the pandemic, this tool has been valuable to assist my teachers remotely as most of them have locked down privileges.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

I do not like you have to ask the end user for permission to get on the screen. It wastes time in my opinion!

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

If your looking for the complete tool for your organization, this is it. It is costly but worth it.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual learning, distant learning, pandemic response, and IT recovery

  ### 9. Do not purchase. Even their own support staff recommend that you use a different product.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

I was lead into the product because of the special pricing and its combined offer with Bitdefender.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

I started using the product in July of 2020. Almost everything I orchestrated during the onboarding process of my machines was filled with issues. I spent hour after hour with Tech Support collecting logs to give them more data to look into the issue(s). There was continuous misreporting in the data it collects from the endpoints. An IT department has to hire a extra Technician, not to monitor the data the product is suppose to provide, but to work with Kaseya on their own issues with the product. I now only use it only as a remote control utility, for everything else is plagued with issues. I can't trust it and to its too labor demanding on staff when attempting to solve an issue to where I can trust it. Stay away! In 25 years working in IT, I have never been introduced to a more failed solution for monitoring and managing a enterprise.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Don't get sucked into the pricing or special offers. This product is on the way out. They bought it a few years ago and are only hanging on to facilitate new sales. No investment in future development. Their support pages are not updated etc. Everything is a façade.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VSA does not solve problems. It creates them. Although I bought patch management and other features of VSA, I refuse to deploy them after testing them and again where they created more issues than they solved.

  ### 10. Great RMM Tool, Lacking in Mac Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya has a ton of features and tools. One of the best ones that we use is the scripting. We are able to perform so many different tasks automatically with them that save us so much time.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

There is limited Mac support. You are able to do some basics, such as remotely connecting and file exploring, but that's about the extent of it. Also, it takes a long time for Kaseya to release a working update that works on new Mac updates whenever there is a major Mac update.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Depending on your size and needs, Kaseya may be a great fit, but it may be too much for you. Other alternatives, such as ConnectWise Control or Automate, are simpler and have less costs associated, but also lack in power. Make sure you figure out what your needs are and pick a solution that fits you, don't try to fit your needs to a solution.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to resolve 80% of the IT issues remotely now, where before we were visiting every machine and addressing every issue in person. This has saved us time and resources.

  ### 11. Top Rmm for msp's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

There all tools that are basic for mi work: agent procedure Is the best One.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Poor graphic interface, the same for manu years

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation and monitoring. Takeunder control all customer endpoints.

  ### 12. Strong product - great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley G. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya is continually adding features to the VSA. They listen to their customers and respond with value-added features. Our engineers appreciate that their feedback leads to product enhancements. The automation saves our engineers a lot of time. And in the MSP game, time saved helps the bottom line. The product is very dependable and the remote access is secure. We have tried several other remote access agents and Kaseya VSA is hard to beat.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

From time to time, we've encountered bugs that have impacted use and engineer efficiency. To their credit, they listen to our feedback and make appropriate fixes. There have been some lingering issues that take a long time to resolve like full agent support for MacOS Catalina. We've also had some issues with the Kaspersky integration that didn't have great fixes and required significant time by our engineers to resolve.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

While you're evaluating it, don't get overwhelmed by the large list of features. Focus on the tools you need from the product to serve your clients. Then look at the items that you would like to get into. There are some features we've never touched and we've been onboard for almost 10 years. Their pricing model makes it easy to scale up as you get into the product more.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The remote access, monitoring and schedule procedures have reinvented the way we support our customers. I can't imagine doing what we do without it. The more we use it, the more we learn about it. Each year we get a little deeper into the vast array of tools this product offers.

  ### 13. Kaseya Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

RMM features such as Agent Management, Policy Management, Ticketing.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Patch Management, Monitoring config, no chat and remote control

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proactive management of customer endpoints. Realized longer life on customer assets due to preventative maintenance. Ability to proactively resolve issues before bigger problems occur.

  ### 14. Perfect tool for MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Automation, Remote access and scripting possibilities.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Over the years they have bolted on several features and while they have polished up the interface quite a bit the navigation is not intuitive and there are times where you might need to go to several places to get the information you need. Not a very good solution out of the box.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation is the key to success.

  ### 15. Decent product but the UX is less than ideal

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Seems to be pretty stable and just works when you need it to

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The UI/UX is not very good. The web based mouse-overs/pop-ups are tricky and can be frustrating to use.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Supporting our remote workforce and devices, Kaseya allows us to log in to devices either silently or interactively. It has really helped us when the majority staff is WFH

  ### 16. Great tool but need some development

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone V. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The best feature in Kaseya is that is completely customizable at your and customer needs. The agent is very light and no need for a lot of customization for running live

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

what i dislike is that the builtin features are not so good and do not cover a wide range of customer's needs. what i mean is like monitoring and maintenance task. we would like to have more packed task that covers commons needs. Another thing is that saas customers cannot use plugins (like veeam) that are available for on prem. The agent needs port 5721, that means that customer need to create policy for using it and there is no proxy settings.
Mac and linux agent do not work properly and there is no integration (like patching and software deployment)

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Considering kaseya needs a lot of development for making you to really go live

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are resolving issues like common maintenance tasks, monitoring updates, upgrading commons software and customizable monitoring

  ### 17. MSP on steroids

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik R. | MSP Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The combination as well as amount of tools to manage an entire IT environment is unparalleled. I've used the top similar tools out there (Manage Engine, ConnectWise, Datto etc.) and there is allways something missing.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

VSA is not without its flaws. Some modules in the system is porly maintained and sometimes forgotten all together. Kaseya is focusing on acuiring other companies/solutions to refresh and replace functionality in VSA but that development take to long, would have been better to fix the current modules imo.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

It's easy to setup and try, just cklicking around in the GUI will give you a good idea of what you can do.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're an MSP alongside a private cloud provider. The combination of VSA and OpenStack along side client management fills the needs of any and every customer scenario we encounter.

  ### 18. All-In-One Client Management For IT Consultant Firms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

I particularly enjoy that there is a very in-depth educational platform that teaches you the ins and outs of the service.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

It can be a little annoying navigating the service because you have to click so deeply to get into some aspects of the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Take the time to go through Kaseya University. It is incredibly helpful at learning the entire system, in and out. It thoroughly explains every aspect of Kaseya and will some-what walk you through things that you will be using it for primarily.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to manage all client computers, servers, and VMs using Kaseya.

  ### 19. IMO Kaseya VSA Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

There is a wide variety of functionality that allows us to have better insight into all agents. You can do just about everything you can think of. The scripting functionality is also incredibly useful. We are able to deploy new things to agents with a great deal of flexibility. It would be nice if there were tool tips, or more of a wysiwyg interface when scripting, but at least the core functionality is there along with extensive documentation.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The UX is not user-friendly and is challenging to navigate. Reporting is also hard to read and not displayed in a way that is easy for people not in the Kaseya VSA every day. There is a lot of explanation required for others to understand the reports. Lastly, documentation is very difficult to navigate. Things seem to be arbitrarily scattered, and the document search isn't intuitive at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

When considering the Kaseya VSA, be sure to be prepared to read all the documentation and utilize Kaseya's support resources.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better insight into our applications' performance allowing development improvements. It allows us to consider more improvements for development. When customers talk about features they'd like to add, we can stress test hardware specifications with any sample size necessary. The sample size is a huge benefit. Sometimes, we only want to stress test with a small sample size. Other times we want to stress test with a larger group of agents.

  ### 20. Does lots of things well, but doesn't do anything perfectly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam M. | IT Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya VSA allows us to manage all the systems in our estate easily through a single pane of glass. With features like remote desktop connection (through LiveConnect or VNC), patch & policy management, backup & DR features, anti-malware/virus protection, software deployment, ticketing and the ability to create custom agent procedures to help automate common tasks it has been invaluable to our department.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Whilst VSA allows for a multitude of functionality the majority of it isn't refined post initial implementation, the interface especially feeling left behind when compared to other major players in the market today. This gives the impression of whilst you can do everything in a central location, you might still be better off going for separate products to achieve the same level of functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

If you value functionality over ease of use, UI and UX, VSA is probably for you, however I would research other available options to see what else is on the market. Kaseya is great, but that's not to say it is the best.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary business problem for us that Kaseya VSA solves is the ability to manage every system within our organisation from a single location, with reports and alerting available allowing us to be proactive in the event of an incident or emergency.

  ### 21. Kaseya VSA Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The organisation in Kaseya can be challenging at first, however as you grow to understand it and mold it to fit you infrastructure it is really one of the best layouts I've used. LiveConnect is one of the best features. It has some warts but it gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

While one of the things I like the best is LiveConnect, I do wish it had better resolution, similar to what ScreenConnect brought to Connectwise. However, overall I'm still very happy with my decision to move to the Kaseya product stack.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Kaseya can do pretty much anything with regard to automation but you do have to put time in to understand the process.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a managed service provider and use Kaseya VSA to deliver our services to clients. We are leveraging automation to manage endpoints and enhance customer service experiences. We transitioned from another RMM tool to Kaseya and feel it was a good switch.

  ### 22. A fantastic tool for automating IT repetitive task and process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kewyn m. | Manager IT Operations / Cloud, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The simplicity of executing tasks once they are automated and configure all since the same dashboard. Also, I like the history that you keep of the process after each task had been executed.
From the audit perspective, the way that you check the log of the last tasks executed and changes applied to a server.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The lack of same capabilities that Windows have for Linux and MacOS Systems.
I would like to have more options in the dashboard so I could use it in a different way as a monitoring dashboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

It is a good election to simplify repetitive tasks in our IT environments like monthly patching for example

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patching the users and servers in our organizations, it simplifies completely the process and reporting of the patching process in general.
Managing the user's remote support.
Remote standard application installing

  ### 23. My reveiw

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

What is like best about the Kaseya VSA that the easy of use. I can easily run audits to organize the different agents to departments.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

I only wish they had an admin app for android or IO so I could see the users screen and help guide them through what they were seeing.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of remote management of computer.

  ### 24. Manage the IT area more easily

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elvin W. | Information Technology Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

This software has allowed my company to efficiently manage networks, control and review servers and at the same time get better support for our customers.

Something that would stand out from this program is that it allows to automate maintenance tasks, with the consequent saving of time. At the same time, security and user behavior can be monitored, so you can solve problems quickly.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

I think that the interface should be updated, since it would be much better to be able to move more quickly through the program. This interface causes it to be a little complicated to find or modify certain configuration options.

Also sometimes a restart occurs in the computers of the customers because some error occurs, although this is not too common.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

It is an effective support environment, with a large amount of information, with the ability to simplify information and help you to better support your customers. So if you want to have more facilities to have more information about the IT area and be able to provide better service to your customers, this tool can be useful.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to the sequence of commands that Kaseya VSA has, clients' problems are solved very quickly, without having to bother them, because thanks to these commands they can be solved without the intervention of the user.

We must also add that the reports with personalized data in PDF give a great information to the clients, with all the necessary data to manage the information better, this causes that our company is more efficient and the clients are more happy, so we It has helped to do a better job.

  ### 25. Whole lot of functionality for server Management with less intuitive UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit J. | Senior Operations Engineer - Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Easy Manageability of end devices over the cloud and on premise. Best suited for patch management and operations management with average reporting.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Average reporting and basic support structure. UI is not very promising pretty buggy.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Patch Management
Agent Management
Monitoring Devices

  ### 26. Too big for its own sake

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Policy Management is fantastic in Kaseya. It makes it so easy to assign settings based on a multitude of criteria. Its what I miss most about the platform.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

There are way too many bugs in the platform that Kaseya is too busy buying other products and marketing to new customers to fix. Scripting with Powershell is a crap shoot for example. What bothers my most is that there's SO much potential there - but Kaseya doesn't care. They just make excuses and move on.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Be prepared to work hard to get the most out of it.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. Moved away from the platform.

  ### 27. Best RMM platform on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Al A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Granular control of our client environments is second to none

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

There is very little to dislike about the product. If you are NOT wanting to manage the environment/set up your client then there are lesser RMMs for you :)

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Like any tool, learn it to maximize value for your company and benefit to your client

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aligning our client environments with our Absolute Best Way best practices

  ### 28. robust management of endpoints with potential to become the best in the market

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan K. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

the clean and sec look of the system
possibility to run our own instance on premise
possibility to connect with external software
Policy management is awesome
procedures are awesome

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The reporting could be better, also updates in the past have broken things.

  ### 31. Best VSA out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The best thing about Kaseya is having everything in one portal. I can manage patches, remote access, antivirus and so much more all with one login.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The only thing there is to dislike is the price but I’ve looked at other software and there isn’t another complete solution that even comes close to what Kaseya can do.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m managing 100 computers from just remote access to interact with small printing issues that a user may be having to monitoring for servers going down and proactively being able to get them back up without my clients calling for support. I can approve patches and send them out to all my endpoints at once or pick and choose which computers get them based on views or SLAs which saves me so much time from not having to touch each machine for updating.

  ### 32. Plenty of ups and downs

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

With Kaseya Procedures we can automate many tasks and trigger them based on various criteria.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The system seems like hobbled together as Kaseya bought other companies. Some things simply break and certain things are not intuitive at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

There are a few other better valued products available now.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage over a 1000 nodes (mostly Windows) so a central management app like Kaseya VSA is critical. We also use Kaseya for our helpdesk ticketing.

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya VSA has been a valuable friend in the 10 years of our MSP Business.
Issues have been a rare exception and its been consistently reliable and empowering for our business.
We couldn't run a 1700 seat with 5 technicians without it and still have happy long term customers.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

We would love an iPad APP for connecting to machines.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation, Automation, Automation.

  ### 34. Great product, and super convenient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

I love how friendly the user interface is. This was super easy to learn, and the tech support team are so helpful. It is very easy to install onto the computers in my organization, and it's such a cool software to use!

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

There are a lot of features that I do not need for my organization, however I'm paying for them. That is my only complaint, I wish there was a way to only pay for the tools I'm using!

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Kaseya VSA is only used for IT purposes, for tech support. There are many benefits, the biggest one is that I do not have to be physically at a clients computer to help them!

  ### 35. Very powerful product but the user interface could use some work.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denton F. | Owner, CEO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The software has a huge list of features that allows you to truly automate everything in the book. It works well for larger MSPs. The patch management is very in depth and allows you to do many things with the different operating systems out there.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The price is a bit high for smaller MSPs. The main problem I have with the solution is that it is very hard to learn interface. I went through all of the training and still had to spend hours trying to figure out how things worked. And then they had a completely different interface for the remote support application. Kaseya also seemed to use alot of resources that some lower end computers did not have to spare.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My business did not have a remote support or patch management implementation before Kaseya, however now it was proving too difficult to use.

  ### 36. My favorite tool for IT Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya has a fairly unified user experience. I've worked with other products like it which often give me different UI elements and are badly organized. Those other systems make me feel like I'm fighting them to get anything done. Kaseya's UI on the other hand is clean, and they actively work on unifying the experience so that when a user goes into a different part of the system than they've used before they shouldn't feel lost. At the same point they work with other companies to make sure the modules they provide are some of the best in the industry such as Anti-Virus or Anti-Malware, it really helps make clients feel secure knowing that we have easy visibility into their configuration and that they see software on their computers that they've heard of before.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

3rd party modules are a thing and work well, however I've never seen one integrate in that involves using Kaseya's Policy Management system. Usually at best they have their own internal policy system which can break things up a bit.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Be sure to get some to do the KCA training, it helps a lot.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That's a huge list of items:
Automation
Server/Workstation Monitoring
Software Deployment
Patching
Automation
Network Monitoring
New Hardware detection
Remote control
Automation
Anti-virus
Anti-malware
Reports
Did I mention Automation :) OK it might be my favorite part.

  ### 37. Kaseya VSA is the best RMM tool on the market !!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mónica R. | Trabajador de proyecto, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Live Connect is an awesome component, giving everything from remote help sessions to remote shell get to. The scripting gives you capacity to do nearly everything off camera making end clients extremely upbeat. There is no preferred inclination over having the capacity to tell your client you settled an issue while never expecting to trouble them or interfere with their day. The detailing elements of Kaseya VSA enable overseers to parse any data conceivable, into pleasant PDF or Excel reports. Clients are generally extremely awed and eager to see the reports, demonstrating to them any data they need to see with respect to their organization. Full access to SQL database in included.Kaseya makes what could some way or another be an enormous task super simple stuff. Kaseya is presumably the most vital power multiplier in my condition.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Features that would be decent to have in the base adaptation must be obtained as extra modules so one feels to some degree "nickeled and dimed" each time you need to grow your list of capabilities. The cost is on the higher end for a remote administration item which could be reasonable if the help were better. I have discovered that it is a blended best stuff as far as how rapidly you get a reaction and each time my ticket is tended to it is outsourced to somebody for whom English is a second or third tongue. I don't have an issue with the outsourcing viewpoint however I frequently find there is in excess of somewhat of a correspondence hole and it very well may disappoint investing a strong lump of energy attempting to express what is on my mind due a dialect hindrance. In the event that this were an ease item this would be more reasonable however it isn't. There is additionally an extremely strong expectation to absorb information as far as seeing the majority of the highlights. Other impediment is that distinguishing a con is intense. The main downside I would call attention to is that for spic and span clients there can be a lot of expectation to absorb information when you dig into the extremely great highlights. For instance, composing complex specialist strategies takes understanding. That being stated, the underlying fundamental utilization of the most well-known highlights is anything but difficult to get immediately, so even the expectation to absorb information is anything but a major ordeal. When you're prepared to "accomplish more" and contribute the extra time to take in the further developed highlights, they're there sitting tight for you. For fundamental help work area people, they may never need to go past the surface highlights. They offer a Kaseya University alternative to address that (which I am as of now required with) however it requires a membership that continues being recharged or you lose get to. As the substance is static, it would be greatly improved to have a compensation once and get to always - surely for a similar rendition.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

You'll have to devote time and assets to getting it up and running. It's not the most noticeably bad startup on the planet, but rather it takes some learning and long stretches of design. Support is all in or all out, simply expect that with basically every rmm player in this space. Incline toward the network in the event that you hit detours and bolster isn't coming through. There are some great gatherings of individuals who can help or offer practices.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kaseya VSA enables users to regulate and secure generally conveyed conditions through remote observing and administration. Kaseya VSA enables IT administration to additionally expand their compass, essentially help their productivity, and improve benefit levels by finding and interfacing with any gadget from any area through just an internet browser. The framework additionally enables clients to get to and remotely control PCs safely at close immediate associate occasions with unparalleled unwavering quality, even finished high idleness systems. Kaseya VSA accompanies the Kaseya Patch Management Software. This implies clients don't need to stress over refreshing their servers, workstations, and remote PCs as the product robotizes the refresh procedure.

The product it easy to use and update. It allows our small team to manage a large deployment of student/faculty devices across multiple locations.

Antivirus has had a few quirks, but still functions

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Take the time to learn the scripting language. It's a very powerful way to remotely manage systems.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have few employees covering a large fleet of systems. Automation through Kaseya has saved us thousands of man hours over the years. We're able to monitor systems, bulk install software/updates, and even manage remote client support.

  ### 41. Moderately good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Patch control and ability to force patches.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

live connect remote control is buggy. i lose connection often with logging out of the remote session where other products do not. also the command line needs work. it needs the ability to recall the previous command like with most command prompts using the up-arrow and also the ability to paste into the command prompt.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quick access to hosts and patch issues easiliy resolved.

  ### 42. Great product with glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Central access to all remote clients with a single login and interface.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Inconsistent notifications and statuses, especially when looking for a quick status of a system.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Kaseya is an amazing tool that allows access to all your client systems, but there are a few little nuances, such as the status of a machine may not show correctly or the last logged in user may be incorrect.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to access all of our client systems through a single interface

  ### 43. Kaseya has been a great help in managing my business IT

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick B. | Technology Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

The centralized controls and remote access are what I like best about Kaseya VSA

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

I wish the training included more of the add-ons, but their knowledgebase is very helpful!

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

If you are looking to centralize your IT (or use in an MSP environment) then Kaseya is great!

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to centralize everything from remote support to cloud backups. We have saved THOUSANDS on cloud backup by switching to Kaseya!

  ### 44. Kaseya VSA helps automate a lot of our monotonous jobs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Organize our endpoints into groups, the create policies to automate many menial tasks that I don't want to do myself.
Can deploy scripts out to PC's without having to touch the machine at all.
If you are good with writing scripts, you can automate practically everything here.
Patching allows you to deny/approve prior to pushing out. This way you can easily stop your machines from trying to upgrade to the latest version of Windows if you wanted.
There is good reporting tools here to. Say you want a list of all machines with Adobe Pro installed, you can create a report and run that against your machines and find out.
Helps with inventory. You can easily create export an excel spreadsheet of all your endpoints.
Logon does not have to be on your network.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya is not user friendly, and it will take some time to learn how to use it.
Not a fan of the remote control, we use bomgar which we like much better.
When there are problems, its usually a hassle to get fixed and you have to contact support.
They recently changed their tier 1 to india and those guys suck. Once your ticket gets routed to tier 2 you will get good support.
We cannot get this to work well with MACS, but that is not much of a problem considering we don't have nearly as many to support.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Learn to use the agent procedure module and the policies module.
Those are the key modules to success.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Software installs and upgrades
Scripting
Patching
Remote Control

  ### 45. One of the top system management solutions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Although the interface may look overwhelming, the system is extremely feature rich and I don't know if there is anything you can automate using Kaseya.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The only thing I wish they would provide is a Kaseya Live Connect client for Linux. They support Mac and Linux as end point clients, but not from the administration side.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

Excellent solution for managing any number of endpoints!

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for full remote systems management from remote access, automated system maintenance, hardware/software visibility, to custom scripting that is as easy as dragging and dropping processes.

  ### 46. Kaseya VSA - The Best RMM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya VSA is the oldest and most mature RMM platform. It does it all; software management, monitoring, alerting, 3rd party patches, windows patches, backup, anti-virus/malware,, and the best scripting engine around.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The complete integration of the Kasey's network monitor Traverse isn't done yet, nor is their latest acquisition Rapid Fire tools

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

The kitchen sink. Full featured and ready to go out of the box, no nonsense. The most mature and complete RMM product on the market. Integrates well with most other PSA products including their own but not limited to it.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an RMM package is essential to running an MSP. It allows us to service our customers with fewer tech resources and a lower tech to customer ratio than without.

  ### 47. Kaseya a game changer for the MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2018

I enjoy the encompassing environment of Kaseya and the flexibility of the tool set. It provides a lot of built-in functionality but the ability to develop unique solutions to support tasks to speed up and automate workloads.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

The UI could do with an update. Better menu and clearer navigation would be an improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Kaseya VSA:**

ROI is amazing for MSP's.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the ability to integrate with ITGlue we have a full view of assets and full documentation removing the need for pockets of isolated documentation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Kaseya VSA?**

Kaseya gathering data from all endpoints that has it installed helps with audits, troubleshooting, and automating processes.

**What do you dislike about Kaseya VSA?**

There is a lot we can do with kaseya. The thing that I would look for is common out of the box policies to use on our endpoints that would simply need a few modification to fit our needs. I've had some issues with running remote uninstalls on antiviruses and kaspersky takes a significant performance hit on the endpoints compared to webroot.

**What problems is Kaseya VSA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automatic auditing and inventory. Remote desktop solution. There are many other features our company can still utilize. it is a matter of taking time to customize and set them up.
