Virtual classrooms allow us to create a learner experience that is quite seamless and offers an elevated user experience compared to other platforms. For example, we are able to better manage breakout groups, move participants within them, and share content during them. In addition, it is a user-friendly experience when onboarding facilitators that will be facilitating our virtual learning programs. Only comment would be that many times when a ticket is opened it would go to multiple different people over the course of being open and often a resolution would take an extended period of time to replicate and/or resolve for us. Great and simple UI, easy onboarding process. I liked that they thought about it all, from the promotion before the webinar, to the session itself, and then the follow-up. The package includes things that normally I need to purchase separately from other vendors, like the landing page or the showcase page (where you put all your upcoming webinars). It took me a second to understand where all the engagment tools, so if you're looking for them, most of them are in the webinar session on the chat. Their analytics is something I haven't seen yet, real-time maps of each attendee, this is a great way for us to assess leads better. Our institution has been using Kaltura as a video cloud for education for nearly three years, and we have been delighted with its services. The upload and storage repository is easy to understand and navigate, it is simple to organize your videos into different categories and add tags to find your videos, and it integrates with our LMS (Canvas) seamlessly. The sharing functions are easy to use, making reviewing videos quick and painless. Our students aren't required to use the upload or edit tools very often, but in the few instances they do, they don't seem to have any issues. Creating in-video quizzes is a nice feature for our purposes, and it's easy to do. Relative to other video cloud platforms, Kaltura is affordable for what it offers. We previously used Vimeo, which didn't have all the features we needed, and in our review of other video platforms, Kaltura seemed to have the best features, support, and price. Finally, Kaltura is continually improving; several helpful upgrades have kept Kaltura fresh and valuable in the short time we've used it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kaltura Video Cloud? Any negative comments I provide will be more nit-picky than necessarily significant complaints, but a few things could be improved. Our support person sometimes isn't as quickly responsive as we would like for general inquiries, though the support is great when there is an issue. For captions, their process for getting professional, live captioning seems a bit cumbersome, so we have used an external captioner instead. Simple uploads and embeds used to be possible via a few clicks in the old media server which we used, however after that was sunsetted, we found things a bit harder to explain to users (as it was a few extra steps / options hidden away a bit more).
