It was a good mix and engaging. The consultative scoping, onboarding and setup process were excellent all the way through to go live. The team were very engaged, and helped to cover the gaps in our process that I wasn’t even aware. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** We had one issue that kallidus did set out from the offing, it isn’t an LMS system as our budget precluded that route. Kallidus team found a work around that gave us the user experience we were after. It is easy to assign learning to groups for mandatory training, as well as to assign catalogues for specific team development plans. Reporting in the function is comprehensive, however, relies on SAP Business Objects, which may not be to everybody's liking. The Kallidus Support team is exceptionally helpful and always responds quickly, regardless of whether your query is urgent or just a question raised out of curiosity. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** Some features feel slightly dated sometimes, such as the inability to structure course catalogues in the order that you would like them to appear to learners. We need to number all of our catalogues so that employees view them in the desired order of their overall Development Plans and this creates problems when we want to promote certain catalogues outside of the mainstream Development Template for our employees. However, when we implemented Learn in our organisation, we knew that Kallidus had only just finished updating a brand new and more user-friendly Administration side, so smaller things like this are to be expected. The system does, however, deliver on all of your usual LMS basics to an excellent standard. **Recommendations to others considering Kallidus Learn:** Ensure that you have a strong RfP and implementation plan in place before implementing Learn. **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Learn is helping us to easily deploy learning to our organisation, so that learning solutions are easily available, to help employees achieve the goals of their development plan. Kallidus has been great at meeting requirements during busy business compliance department combined with the fact it has everything you need for new and existing members of staff to start, or keep on top of their AML training modules. The customer support received over the past 4 years has been fantastic. In terms of Frequency, we use Kallidus for all annual staff training and for new starter training. Kallidus has many great features, all of which are easy to use and easy to integrate, and are supported by a great customer service team and fantastic, prompt, relationship manager. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** I can't fault Kallidus. The initial training and support are also a great help. Setting it up also was pretty smooth. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** The admin side can be quite complex (easy once you know it but complex). Also there is no much space for customisation - which makes it easy at the beginning when you set it up, but can become limiting later on. **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have users from several European countries and it's super easy to assign different courses to different groups, track the results or impersonate a user to see what they see and double-check the courses assigned. From a User view, the system is also intuitive with a clear distinction on the courses that needs to be completed and the optional ones to choose from the various catalogues. Setting up and assign courses is very fast and definitely is a great benefit. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** As I described above, the overall experience with Kallidus is very positive, however there are few things that can be improved. For example where there is a large SCORM file or any other document to be imported it might be not possible to uploaded yourself. in some cases, I need to raise a ticket to the customer support team to imported on Learn for me. This was done in a timely manner, but it created extra steps for me to take. Another thing that can be improved is about the course card images. There is a comprehensive guide on how to upload your own cards and there are many already present in the system. However this selection on images relate to very specific topics which might not be relevant for every subject, but still you need to scroll down to select the ideal ones for your course. It would be great to have a wider selection of more generic images (i.e. learning, self development, videos etc.) to choose from. **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Kallidus we are having the opportunity to train and develop our third party employees so they can increase their knowledge and expertise about our products and services. With Learn, my users do not have to go through any kind of instructional guidance to know how to find their compliance courses, optional courses, or their course record. It is highly intuitive. Just like no one had to teach you how to launch a movie from Netflix, no one needs to tell your Learners how to launch a course, or see what has been assigned to them. As an admin., you'll love Kallidus Learn. I've been an admin. of 4 different systems and I think Learn is the best of the best. There are no "quirks" with this system. That amazingly intuitive user interface is exactly what you get as an admin. Things just "make sense" with Learn. The verbiage on how to do things is not some corporate-speak. It's written with the language that you and I use every day. Implementation was a dream! My company is in America, so everything was done remotely and it couldn't have been easier. They accommodated our schedule, not the other way around. They are honest with the time-table on how long things take, not just tell you what they think you want to hear. And really, that's a big change from other LMS companies as well; Kallidus is honest. You never have to guess if what they're saying is the truth. They will tell you forthrightly if you want to do something that their system cannot. After 1 1/2 years with Kallidus Learn, I've become a fan of their help desk team. They respond promptly, again even with the time difference between Europe and Southern California. I've never had to escalate a problem. And they have never made me feel like my question wasn't the most important thing they were dealing with that day. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** The downside to Kallidus is the integration between Learn and Perform (the performance management system) could be improved. Right now, they act pretty independently from one another. The front end of Kallidus Learn looks and feels simple, is easy to use and navigate around, all whilst being in company branding and colours. 2) Powerful back-end and reporting; Kallidus provides powerful reporting ability through BusinessObjects, although it does have its flaws, more on that later. Learn gives you the ability to perform a lot of complex actions through the back end, all whilst keeping it fairly easy to manage as an administrator. 3) Features; there are a lot them in Learn that we rely on for effecting learning management. Although these might not be specific to Kallidus Learn, it is done really well here. Accreditations, helps us manage our compliance and certifications well. Event management, helping us track and record all of our training events. Users and groups management, allowing us to direct specific learning to certain groups or individuals. 4) Epic support. Yes, I really mean 'epic' - honestly there are not enough superlatives to describe how helpful and wonderful the people at Kallidus are. This wasn't something I realised we needed, but now I can't imagine not having the support and the resources we get from the team at Kallidus. There has not been a single interaction across the whole Kallidus team, and I have had many, where I've left the interaction thinking that could have gone better. The team are not only professional, they genuinely care and try to understand our specific challenges. The friendly customer support team, I have relied upon on so many occasions and every single time I have received a swift response with a resolution. It should go noted, we are not the largest of organisations, so I imagine this consistency irrespective of the size of an organisation is a phenomenal feat. Also worth mentioning, Kallidus also have a features roadmap so are constantly adding new features, which is always exciting to be a part of. Kallidus Learn not only ticked all of our boxes, it delivers much more on top **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** Whilst there is a lot Kallidus Learn does well and gets correct - there's always room for improvement. However, I'm most definitely nit-picking here. I mentioned the power of reporting through Kallidus learn. BusinessObjects will most certainly allow you to do a lot of reporting on the data in Learn, however it's not the easiest to get your head around and requires a little bit of technical nous... not for the faint of heart. Whilst there are default reports or when your own custom reports are set up, can be easily re-run and even scheduled to email out. Creating new (more complex) reports requires a lot of time and/or investment and we know time is money. I've seen other solutions where it's really simple to select your data set, filter and sort and display the data in a very pleasant and visual way. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. More modern features. What I mean by this, is what a lot of other LEPs are doing now is missing in Learn. Would be great to see things like; more social interactions, user generated content, a personalised homepage displaying content you may be interested in, ability to use diverse learning content, like video or VR for example without the need to create an elearning module. For us, it's about creating learning that can be accessed in the flow of work and Kallidus Learn could take a leaf out of other LMSs here. Better integration between the different Kallidus products. I know this is something Kallidus are working towards, so it's only a matter of time. Where you have more than one Kallidus product, it makes sense to integrate these really well so the user experience between platforms is not only improved but enables more inter-platform features to be accessible. Overall the dislikes were fairly critical because Kallidus Learn is a strong product and definitely has stronger team to back it up. **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Learning we know comes in all shapes and sizes, Kallidus Learn allows us to deliver a more varied and blended learning solution to our staff. Being in an industry where compliance is important, Learn also gives us the ability to manage compliance based learning, tracking and recording data that can be audited. Also from a user's perspective, making it easy for learners and managers to see what learning needs to be completed and by when. ### 48. As we are a remote business this allowed us to deliver trianing in people homes. We needed a fully mobile and easy to use platform and this ticked all of the boxes. ### 49. The back end is straightforward to use once you get used to it. The team are helpful, responsive, and continuously looking for ways to improve the product, which makes you feel like you're part of the journey and that your requests are being listened to in terms of the product roadmap. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** Some elements could be more self service, for example the uploading of course and lesson photos (a minor thing but gives us less autonomy over the brand of our systems). **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not necessarily a problem, but we're bringing learning to people at a point in time they need it rather than using blanket approaches. We're creating a sense of empowerment and self-directed learning which is supporting our wider colleague proposition. ### 50. Nothing is too much bother, any queries I have have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. The system itself is beautifully simple for the end user, but has all of the specifications that an admin user would need. Kallidus also ensure that their customers are consulted when making changes / improvements to their products, so you feel listened too as their customer. **What do you dislike about Kallidus Learn?** There is not much to dislike. I would prefer for the Learn and Perform sites to be integrated, but this is a project that Kallidus are currently working on. **What problems is Kallidus Learn solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to push information out to our teams (not just training, but also operational information) quickly and targeted to specific job roles.
