## Kahoot! Reviews
  ### 1. Let's Hoot with Kahoot!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot has proven to be a game changer for educational institutions and workplaces to conduct trivia, and engage audiences, especially during covid times. It allows one to create their own quizzes or assessments for more audience engagement. It also improves to perform better owing to the scoreboard feature, which really amazes the participants.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There is nothing much that I dislike about Kahoot, whereas changes in the user interface can definitely make it more user-friendly, for eg. the network usage, requires good internet connectivity which at times can be frustrating for participants.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my opinion, Kahoot has helped a lot in increasing people's participation in fun events conducted at workplaces, which has helped improve team dynamics. It has also changed how assessments are conducted in educational institutions, making students more engaging and interested in taking those assessments.

  ### 2. Kahoot : An innovative platform to track students' progress through interactive quizzes and tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed Saad M. | Mathematics Teacher, Software Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The most favourable feature of Kahoot is that the user interface of this platform both for the teachers and students is robust, user-friendly and intuitive which makes creating quizzes fun and interesting. Another thing that I like about this platform is that Kahoot constantly updates the platform and adds advanced features with each release. Recently, Kahoot added the feature of displaying the questions and answers on the users' devices which has proved to be very helpful for me as any meeting disturbance will not affect the test. Lastly, all the participants can see their ranks which person is ahead of them resulting in competition among students.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Various bot hacks and auto-answer hacks have been built for Kahoot Sometimes, my quizzes are flooded with bots which is very annoying. I have to end the Kahoot and restart it to remove the bots. People can join Kahoots with their nicknames so I can't be sure that a person is the real person.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to the pandemic when all the schools were closed and education had come to a halt, we were looking for a tool to keep my students engaged and attentive throughout the online classes. We found Kahoot and started using it. We as a daily practice use Kahoot to conduct tests and quizzes in the last 10 minutes of the class to track the academic performance of students and look for areas where they require improvement and the outcome of using this tool was obvious - the performance of all of my students improved and they became more attentive during the class.

  ### 3. Kahoot- My campus friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aswin V. | Associate Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The design and the response time and the ease to use the site are too good.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There is nothing I dislike about Kahoot.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kahoot is making a student's life so easy and also competitive. It can also be practiced in corporate fun events.

  ### 4. An effective tool for interactive presentations and training.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac V. | Projects Planner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is very useful for keeping training and other meeting-type settings fresh and interactive. Instead of a "show of hands" or asking for participation, users/trainees are able to interact with questions and knowledge checks in a non-intrusive manner using their computers or smart devices.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is gamification, but it also can come across a little "clunky" in user interface. It would be nice if you had the option of changing the overall "theme" of the user interface for either more professional settings, or for more low-key/casual audience groups.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kahoot helps to keep interactive moments available for trainees who would otherwise be disengaged. I have seen much more attention being paid during presentations and students/trainees that look forward to the next survey and/or knowledge check.

  ### 5. Interactive, engaging, and great review site!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anneda N. | English Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

My students and I love Kahoot! I love the ability to create my own games which we can use to review content or even to pre-assess new content. The fact that the mobile option was added during Covid-19 made the site even sweeter. Teachers can now assign a game and put a start and end time. After that, students who can see who won. This really allows everyone to stay connected even when they are not together.

As a fifth grade teacher, I also love the availability of games that were not made by me but are still applicable. If we have extra time, I can load a game on a relevant topic and we are ready to play within only a couple of minutes.

Many students thrive on competitiveness and this allows them to give their all.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Can be difficult to track down what student goes with what nickname. Students say that sometimes it glitches and chooses an answer for them.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Look for previously posted Kahoots. This can save a lot of time.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Formative assessment; distance learning connectivity; intentional review; multiple exposures to the same content; repetition builds mastery

  ### 6. Fun for office safety trivia games!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory E. | HSEQ Corrdinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Easy operation, user-friendly. The office loves to see the Kahoot game code, it's something they all look forward to. Keeps them involved with safety without reading policies and procedures.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There is nothing at this time for me to dislike about Kahoot.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Very user-friendly, always a fun time for employees.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a safe working environment with friendly competition, easy resources to 'test' employees without putting stress on employees.

  ### 7. Training with fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mustafa F. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like the interface of the software. It is very simple to use and you can prepare the questions quickly. Also, many people can join at the same time using with the code generated by the program.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

You don't have many options in answering, only, selection from four or selection from two question-answer types you can choose.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this program in our training for company managers and other stuff. We have recently begun to use this program and we have had positive feedback from the trainees. They all liked to use Kahoot!

  ### 8. Fun Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The way we can answer multiple choice in a meeting

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

It is at times slow, causing delays and inconvince

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to see how the people in the meeting have been and if the message has gotten across

  ### 9. Easy-to-use engagement tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Students get excited to use this, and that's the best thing about it. Students actually request we use it in class when reviewing content and vocabulary. It's easy to use as a teacher.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The one downside is when a student performs poorly, it can be difficult for them to catch up with points. Low-performing students can get frustrated when they realize they numerically can't win and will shut down. It'd be helpful if there were a mechanism in place to confront this issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

This is a highly motivating learning tool for students in middle and high school (probably also elementary, but I do not have experience as an elementary teacher). The fact that students can use this and make their own study tools is powerful. There have been times when students have come to my aid with tricks in making Kahoot games and with suggestions. I have used this with both in-person and virtual classes, and students get excited to use it every time.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kahoot makes reviewing information fun for students and less daunting of a task. It fosters healthy competition among students, especially the team play format. Having students create Kahoot games and individual Kahoot questions is also a great review tool that motivates students. Creating Kahoot questions gets students in the mindset of an expert with the content.

  ### 10. A fun online game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alelee Marie Nikka C. | Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

When in terms of online games ,i really prefer this online app, it's easy to search, easy to learn, easy to understand the game mechanics, it gives adrenaline to the participants, another source of bonding with colleagues, another source of fun and games. I
This can play with so many players.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

That you need fast internet connection to be able to compete. This game need internet to answers the questions, if your internet is slow, you might lose the game.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Search and try it. Its fun! Give a tricky questions to spiceup the game

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Boredom, since pandemic face to face gathering is not allowed so we think of another way how to connect with our end-users, not judt by giving them webinars but we can get their attention to listen because theres a kahooy game after.

  ### 11. Great way to engage students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne H. | Instructor , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Simple to use format makes it easy for me to quickly and efficiently create engaging quizzes for my class. The students are able to play the quizzes as if it's a game and I find that material is retained better.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The subscription for a kahoot over 10 players is somewhat expensive. Most classrooms have more than ten students. I ended up purchasing a subscription but I wish it cost a little less.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to engage students with interactive play. The material we cover in class is also retained better if they have some way to apply it and Kahoot! makes that easy.

  ### 12. Fun Platform for Playing Games with Colleagues When Working Remotely!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like the online quiz functionality. My colleagues and I have been forced to work remotely the last few months due to lockdowns. We use Kahoot weekly to play fun games together in company wide meetings for prizes. It's a great way to bond with coworkers when working remotely. The quizes are fun and the way they calculate the score is based off if your answer is correct and the time it took you to answer. These games can get very competitive when prizes are on the line!

The interface is very user friendly that anyone could figure it out instantly. The way to connect to a game online is also very simple. I like everything about Kahoot!

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Nothing comes to mind! The base functionality works great. I wish Kahoot would branch out more into other online games. I am sure that is on their future roadmap.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

The more people you play with the more fun it can be.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting with coworkers remotely by playing fun games together over the internet using Kahoot.

  ### 13. The Best Formative Assessment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer B. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

My favorite thing about Kahoot is that my students think it is a game and not an assessment or learning tool. Any time I use a Kahoot as a formative assessment at the end of a lesson, my students are excited to play, even at times that they may not have enjoyed the lesson content. In addition, Kahoot offers tools to review your students answers post-game and to break down which questions may need to be covered again before a quiz or test.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The only thing I dislike about Kahoot is that when you're making a custom quiz, images are no longer available from the free version. You can still use GIFs, which work just as well, but I don't know why the developers would remove the images.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most significant benefit of Kahoot is that it gets students excited to review lesson material. I have never had a student that didn't like kahoots. They all get excited to play them.

  ### 14. Kahoot Makes Learning Fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I love that Kahoot! has an app to help facilitate participation in live quizzes and games. We're all on our phones anyway, so it's a great way to feel like you are playing a game. I also love that there is the option to create your own quizzes, or use premade quizzes (a holiday quiz, for example).

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There isn't much that I dislike about this software. It's a great way to encourage live engagement in meetings.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes, we send out lessons or quizzes through a competitor, and it is easy to disengage or flip back and forth through the presentation to look for answers. With Kahoot, you have to be engaged and answer correctly AND quickly. I think it helps people learn more quickly and feel confident in making quick decisions.

  ### 15. Competition-Based, Fast, and Well-Designed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen R. | Mathematics Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is a great way to bring up the energy level in a classroom or even corporate setting. The platform is based on selecting multiple choice answers from a given question, and the faster the correct answer is chosen, the more points that are give to the participant. After each question, a leaderboard is shown. Kahoot quizzes are made by many contributors, many of which are public and can be played and assigned by anyone, or can be duplicated and edited. Even the "waiting room" music is fun. Personally, the smooth and professional design is what seals the deal in my book. It makes it look intriguing and not at all clunky for students.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Once Kahoot came out with more than the free, basic platform, it was apparent that they had very much improved the features (audio questions, typed answers). This is very nice and could be useful for remote learning, but unfortunately it is not free. The only complaint is that the text does not allow for math typeface, but it is fairly simple to insert a jpeg image with any math problem shown in the question area.

I also don't enjoy that the platform sometimes causes students some anxiety since the questions are speed-based and timed. However, the administrator of the Kahoot has the ability to adjust the time limits.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One issue with technology in the classroom is its availability to all students. Kahoot is easily accessible on a phone or laptop, which most students will have at least one of, and therefore will not have to miss out on a review. Another practical note is that it helps to make review notes so dry. Along with that, it is an easy platform to use remotely, as students can join from anywhere with a link.

  ### 16. Favorite game platform!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HD D. | Learning and Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot! 360 Presenter Plan has the most attractive features so far. It allows me do conduct polls, brainstorming activities, word clouds and quizzes for my training programs and even during our events.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I love everything about Kahoot! The price may seem a bit pricy. Can they maybe give discounts to long-time clients?

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses our concerns on creating and conducting engaging and interactive training sessions and events for our company.

  ### 17. Kahoot - A fun way to learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan R. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot provides a very interactive and engaging platform where people can learn through games. Schools, universities, and many other organizations use it to conduct online quizzes and many other fun activities through which students and employees can learn and understand new things. Kahoot is vey easy to use and even a first tim user can easilynavigate through the website.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There is nothing to dislike about the software. The only thing Kahoot can do is maybe improve their server size as sometimes the page gets refresh on its own or the options are not visible during quizzes.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Everyone should once try to include Kahoot in their training, meetings, or any activity they want to make fun.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kahoot is helping my organization and me in making the learning activity fun. Our training team is using it to organize games like quiz which is helping in the learning and making the process engaging. It helps as a good revision after the training. Kahoot is one of the best platform because of easy user interface and interactive experiene that it provides to both the organiser and user.

  ### 18. Fun for Everyone!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick A. | District Learning and Development Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The engagement factor and how it is adaptable inside the classroom. Students seem to love this program. Great for educational use as learning becomes a game, and friendly competition among students pushes them to understand what the teacher is teaching. I think the ability to add images and Youtube videos to the Kahoots adds even more to the interactivity of the platform. And I love having students create their own games and share those with the class.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Not much honestly. I think Kahoot does everything they set out to do. They have enhanced student data tracking to see past results and statistics. It has changed quite a lot since its beginning, so the look and feel is totally different and will require relearning of the site.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Try it out! Students seem to be drawn to Kahoot. It offers plenty of interaction and engagement within the classroom and among students. Use Kahoot as a formal assessment, as a check for understanding, to review before a test or quiz, as a fun do now, as an exit ticket, or allow students to create their own and share it out!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Student learning, student engagement, classroom interaction, studying, and playfulness. Kahoot makes it a fun way to review content before a test, check for understanding, or just make class fun for students. Since the ease of use is high, it also makes for a great way for students to review by creating their own Kahoots and sharing them with fellow students.

  ### 19. Simple and easy communication and fun

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald L. | 2D Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot allows to generate small quizes that can be used for multiple objectives like just having fun with it by creating competetions and small presentations just to keep everyone entertained in these tough times or it can also be used to have some serious question where the opinion of everyone is required and some decisions are to be made based on that.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The only thing kahoot lacks is in terms of convinience, it is a great idea but usually due to some problem or other kahoot faces a minor lag and this results in out of sync questions and answers that takes away all the fun and makes it a lot more frustrating rather than interesting.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a good way of communication and just to spice up the normal meetings we started having a weekly quiz with some small prices like giftcards and this has not only made everyone happy but has also increased the overall participation that used to be a lot less while the normal meetings used to go on.

  ### 20. A fun way to learn!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy Gabriela R. | Professor / Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Students are always eager to participate in activities involving games; even at higher education levels, Kahoot has proven to be a great tool to incorporate fun in the class.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The learning curve of getting to know the platform can be challenging for teachers, but so far, so good!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used Kahoot for warm-up activities, end-of-class wrap-ups, and group evaluations.

  ### 21. The software uses in games or quizzes in activities, trainings, seminars or webinars.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet R. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The easy way to organize quizzes or games in activities like training, seminars, or webinars using the individual devices of the participants like mobile phones, tablets, or laptops. Using this software, the collecting of answers is easy, and get the score of each player and quickly determine who the winner is, mainly if there are many partcipants. It's a fun way to have this kind of software in games or quizzes at this time that everything is almost online. As a participant, I can make my nickname of whatever I want.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Since every participant can make their nicknames, there were times the winners could not recognize them. Hopeful, there is a way to identify the winner in another legitimate way while using the preferred nickname.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Use Kahoot in to make the training/webinars/games more fun and lively. It very easy to organize and use. The scoring is accurate, and collecting of response from attendees are very convenient. Since everyone is using mobile phones, tablets, or laptops. Everyone was able to join, and there were no complainings about the scoring and announcing the winners.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing much, it's effortless to use and friendly user. It's a fun way to join the games or quizzes in training or webinars.

  ### 22. The King of Class Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | German Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The best thing about Kahoot is how it engages the students. They answer questions and can see what their peers are answering. Additionally, they compete with each other but in a way that is friendly. The students are then motivated and engaged in the class content. Other teachers also have created Kahoots that I can publically view and adapt to my class' lessons, which makes it a little bit easier for a teacher to put something together a lot more quickly. The pace can be adjusted to support students' needs.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The only thing that I dislike is the lack of features in the free version. On top of that, they need to be a bit more transparent about their data collection on students. If it could, Kahoot would really benefit from a service that reads the questions aloud in multiple languages. If the question is in English, it would be nice if it read in English. If in German (for example in my classroom), it would be nice if it was read in German.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

I think teachers should consider using Kahoot in the classroom as a tool to view assessments in class. It is a very important way to view how to measure students' success. Although the free version has some limitations, some schools may want to also look into getting a premium version.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Kahoot for formative assessments in my German classroom. Students fill in the blanks, choose the correct conjugations, and more. I am able to see my students' progress in real-time and at the end view a report to see which students may require more assistance in the future. In a pandemic world where quizzes and tests are not the ways teachers are viewing their students' progress as efficiently, Kahoot made it a bit more possble this year!

  ### 23. KAHOOT IS GREAT!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carly D. | Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

What I like best about Kahoot! is that it brings a remote team together in a fun and new innovative way! I would highly recommend this app for any remote team!

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There is nothing I dislike about Kahoot! It is a great innovative software!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can solve all sorts of problems with Kahoot simply by bringing Remote Team members together. As mentioned already this software brings coming together virtually to learn new things fun!

  ### 24. Indispensable for Team Building in remote work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** francesca t. | Data & Analytics Business Translator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is accessible both to people who have already logged in and to external users participating in one-shot activities. The graphical interface is informal, immediate, and has an attractive layout. Kahoot can be used both via the web and via the app, and the games/activities can be shared with users either through links or via QR code.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There are no defects in the app; the only limitation is represented by the type of activities that can be set. Essentially, even if the content changes, the format remains unchanged.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Use Kahoot to add a touch of informality to work events and everyday work. It benefits people's engagement and the productivity of the entire work group.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Kahoot to organize remote group meetings with games to encourage teamwork. With Kahoot, people play but at the same time, at the project management level, the goal of keeping the group's focus high is achieved, working efficiently and productively without making people feel the obligation to complete a task or work. The main benefits are precisely related to the fact that, with an informal and fun tool, work tasks are accomplished that might otherwise be perceived as boring.

  ### 25. Fun way to check for understanding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey G. | Speech and language pathologist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The thing I like the most about Kahoot is that it is a fun way to check for my student's understanding of concepts; they get excited to play Kahoot when in actuality, it is actually a test that gives me great information as to what concepts are being mastered and what we still need to work on.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Something I dislike about Kahoot is that it is entirely reliant on technology; if a student doesn't have a laptop or device because they left it at home or it isn't charged, then they cannot participate.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A problem I am solving with Kahoot is that "test taking" is no longer boring; it is fun and requested by my students! It is very easy to create quizzes and input your own questions from you own learning materials.

  ### 26. Khoooters!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren S. | Teacher, Primary/Secondary Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Student engagement. The questions can be assigned so anyone can play at anytime. People are competive and trivia is a fun game.
Students and staff get into the Khoots.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Limited number of characters when creating questions and answers. Remotely any set with over 100 questions will crash.
Sometimes boys join and then it's not fun.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checking for understanding and individual self assessment. Students don't realize it's a quiz because it's fun. The when they take the actual assessment they realize some of the questions were in the Kahoot.

  ### 27. Awesome Quiz Maker!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randila K. | Management Trainee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I find Kahoot a fun platform that allows you to create amazing games with fun quizzes. We use Kahoot primarily for team meetups and networking sessions. It is fun and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot has a lot of options for creating slides & polls, but their free trial doesn't allow you to explore those features, which is the only fact I dislike about Kahoot.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever we have a team session or even a client presentation, we often incorporate Kahoot content to make the presentation much more enjoyable. It is an excellent way of getting your team members or viewers engaged.

  ### 28. Easy Gamification

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa R. | Sales Enablement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Easy to use and quick set up for training, you can customize and use your own images, can create a quiz on the fly and spice up any meeting or retreat with learning and competition.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I would like to see different options for more remote teams to compete over a period of time.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need for reinforcement of learning and behaviors. This is a fun way to reinforce learning and make sure the team is on the same page.

  ### 29. Engaging, classroom fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

My students absolutely love Kahoot! It keeps them engaged and keeps review fun and active. Everyday they ask to play. I love how simple it is to set up and project on a screen.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Some of my students will cheat, waiting for other students to choose their answer. It might be beneficial to have an option to type in the answer, rather than choosing a shape. I also would like a better way to print and share results with students and parents.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Be sure to also check out Kahoot quizzes made by other members of the community. These game are especially useful in virtual classroom settings or as brain-breaks throughout the day.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging way to review learning material

  ### 30. The Best Formative Assessment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer B. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The best thing about Kahoot is that it is a formative assessment that allows me to monitor student understanding of a topic as I teach it, but my students think of it as a game. Because of this, they all participate to the best of their ability and give me the most accurate representation of their understanding.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

There's nothing that I dislike about Kahoot, but I would like if it included the ability to import questions from Quizlet or other similar programs.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most significant benefit of Kahoot that I have realized is that it is a very quick formative assessment that could be plugged into a lesson at any point because students are always eager to play. Students also pay more attention to material when they know they will have a Kahoot on it later.

  ### 31. Great for quick assessment and feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan P. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I love that you can quickly search their database for created games that align with the topic you need. While it is easy to create your own game, it is time-saving if you can find one already created.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

It is not as useful for math because of time limits and students working at their own pace, unless you make it an assignment and not a live game.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick reviews with students. It is engaging and the students enjoy it.

  ### 32. Great way to review with students.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa D. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Being able to play as a class competition.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Students have to see the projector to be able to play.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My students are able to review as a class and continue to review individually.

  ### 33. Kahoot is the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I love how Kahoot allows all of my students to interact with class materials. Since they now all have laptops or tablets, it is easy for them to get on Kahoot and play the games that I create or find for them. Kahoot is one of my favorite ways for them to study or review materials, as well as to see what they know before we start different topics.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is so easy and fun to use that there is truly nothing I dislike about it. I used Kahoot and school, and now my students use it as well. I am a firm believer in Kahoot.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest benefit of Kahoot is that it helps my students learn and review. It is also a ton of fun, as the students are able to compete based on speed and what they know.

  ### 34. Kahoot for Dual Mode Formative Assessment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola T. | M, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is a very fun way to engage students as they review material. The previously made ones on the Kahoot! Discover page are such a great resource for teachers in a hurry. It also lets you have in-person and virtual people participate. I like that you can pause the game to have time to cover questions that students may have struggled with. It also saves a report of each student's progress which is really helpful to communicate with parents. I use it when a student is not particpating and a parent feels concerned about their progress. It is a good way to have evidence for in class behaviors.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I dislike that it is difficult to format math. I use a lot of symbols like square roots and other radicals and it becomes difficult to type. I also wish there was a better way to preview images. Sometimes, the images are too small to view like a graph of a function. Also, you have to be careful with the types of questions you choose. Since students earn more points based on their speed, they tend to rush rather than stop and think through the problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Let students pick the review so that they have more choice!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to review very easily and use previously made resources. The students really enjoy using it as a way to review. My students also really like to find ones for the whole class to use. This strategy helps students take the initiative with their learning. They also are more encouraged to participate if they are the ones picking and finding reviews that will help them.

  ### 35. Innovative to play quiz and interact

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subrata S. | VR Developer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Kahoot is great it helps in organizing quizzes with ease and the innovative way in which the only user has to select q answer makes it very convenient to use, Kahoot has multiple uses from friendly competitions among colleagues to using it to create just a fun quiz and know everyone's perspective towards something. Kahoot has a new way of organizing the quizzes and since its browser bases, it doesn't need any download which makes it more convenient to use.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The only single thing which I seem to dislike in Kahoot is that most of the time the live stream have a minor delay which is in milliseconds and usually unnoticeable but since Kahoot runs in realtime most of the time the option to select an answer pops up without any question on the screen which makes it hard to score more even when you know the answer.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kahoot has helped a lot especially in these times when everyone is at work from home, it has helped in making fun sessions really fun with these small fun competitions which make interacting among colleagues easier and better.

  ### 36. A good and well-known quiz platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael P. | Membro, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

What I like the most about Kahoot! is how engaging and fun it is to both host and play a kahoot.
I like how easy it is to create a kahoot from zero, and the platform is very intuitive and user-friendly.
I also enjoy a lot the mobile app in which I can save all my reports from past kahoots and play them to unlock emoticons and so on.
Overall, Kahoot is a great platform to host quizzes, and I could easily recommend it to anyone.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

What I like the least about Kahoot! is the 10-player limit on the free version. I think this is a low number of players, even for the free version itself.
I would like to see this number increased a little. If so, I would use Kahoot! more often.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Please take in mind that there is a 10-player limit on the free version of Kahoot!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Kahoot!, I'm being able to host quizzes for my friends and family in an engaging and fun way.
This way, all participants can learn in an informal and fun way.

  ### 37. Great Platform for Quizzes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shyam K. | Volunteer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Being live and interactive quiz platform, it has a great UI and gives an excellent experience. Its easy to use and in most cases, it just needs and the Game pin to join and takes only seconds.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Not really any significant con, but I felt that having transparent analytics on standings of the students on the quiz to even the students will make it much more helpful.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If the network is slow, the app doesn't respond great. It has enhanced my learning experience.

  ### 38. Learning while having fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

Great user interface and very easy to use/navigate with a lot of learning options.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

The new premium quizzes which are locked for paid members limits the variety of quality content.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Great tool! Try it

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for ice breakers, testing knowledge in a classroom/training session while having fun.

  ### 39. Fun and easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like that it allows everyone to participate and learn information. It was useful in school to study in a fun and convenient way for all students. It brought students and teachers together in a cool and educational way.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Not much is missing from this product. It can get disappointing when some students choose to make inappropriate names for themselves. However, the teachers are allowed to remove names/students which puts an end to that

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems of studying are being solved. Some kids cannot find time or effort to study/learn at home. Having this product in the classroom makes learning fun and allows everyone to be involved, especially in an anonymous way.

  ### 40. Awesome, fun learning tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather M. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

It is an easy way to get kids engaged in reviewing a concept or to use for a reward/party day.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I wish it was easier to input pictures without upgrading

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

Kids will love it!

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kids get a fun review before tests. Creating your own questions makes it easy to personalize for your class. It's also easy to start with a premade one and make the changes you need

  ### 41. Fun way to get students and employee engaged

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like the versatility of Kahoot and how you can create anything from a study quiz to test retention of material to a fun party quiz you can use for a contest at a holiday work or school party. It can be used for education and fun.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

You do have to pay for it in order to get the full experience and having a school or company account is the best way to get all the features, but that requires company approval and only a few people having access to the company/school account depending on the structure of the institution.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a remote company, Kahoot! has provided ways for our staff parties to be fun and create a sense of community. We get competitive with the quizzes and it's a lot of fun. For classrooms, Kahoot! was a great resource when I was substitute teaching as it kept the students busy and engaged in a fun and productive way.

  ### 42. I was not able to cancel my free week Kahoot! subscription (DO NOT TRY IT)

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas E. | OOSH Educator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

During the Kahoot! Pro free trial, it was great to use the online survey mechanic for a group presentation. However, I soon realised I could have achieved what I wanted with the free account version, but despite it wasn't able to get a refund. Do not subscribe for the week trial!

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I didn't want a full year subscription, and won't use it over the time period. I did not make the deadline since I had been misinformed about the upcoming apparent payment date which was the deadline to cancel the year-long Kahoot! subscription. I additionally thought in the worse case I'd end up paying for a month of Kahoot!, but had not been informed that it would result in a +$300AUD yearly subscription. I have so far not been able to get a refund.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've found Kahoot consumer help has been quite challenging to communicate with, as they have closed many of the online forums I had tried to contact them through on their help.website Additionally, even though many people had similar posts or questions, I could not find proof of help or further assistance for their customers.
My request for a refund is yet to be accepted or responded to.

  ### 43. Taking gamification to the next level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana V. | Innovation and experience Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

It is easy to use but always surprises and creates fun for the people participating

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I think more training is needed when you need to set up advanced options. I have tried the paid version, and a lot of possibilities appear. However, it was too much for me to understand quickly

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Including gamification in our presentations and involve the attendees to check for understanding and attention.

  ### 44. Amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I love how awesome, fun and interesting Kahoot makes learning. My students and I love using Kahoot to review grammar topics and vocabulary seen in class, we also use it to review history and geography. It's an interactive platform and it allows me to see live progress in my students, plus I love that it allows me to download the score and keep it as a record.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Nothing, Kahoot is amazing and I will definitely continue using it for my class.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get to practice all kinds of topics with my students while keeping it fun and interactive, they love it just like I do!

  ### 45. Kahoot! Making Learning FUN and Interactive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

One of the best things about Kahoot is that everyone is excited to "play" and when you are playing trivia games to learn your processes it tends to "stick". Everyone in our sales department has more knowledge thanks to Kahoot! We all want to play and we all listen to the training and we all want to LEARN the material because we know that there will be a fun way of checking our learning.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

I have had a few people on our team tell me that they don't like how long the trivia takes. Some say they would rather take a quiz or something that goes at their own pace. However, the majority of the people on our sales team really like competing against others and they feel like the knowledge stays with them when they are learning.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning: We spend our time on Kahoot! learning new information that we are discussing with our clients and potential customers. We also use Kahoot! as a reward for the metrics and activity that we have on a daily or weekly basis.

  ### 46. Kahoot is fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florisa C. | Corporate Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The fact that Kahoot is such a fun game. Where you can attract more people who's part of your meeting let's say engage with you. You can also add some twist there like using your screen name to make the fun more exciting. Also using the Kahoot is convenient since you can not just access it to your web browser but to your mobile phone at any time, as long as you have the code in joining the Kahoot you and your other colleague can enjoy it together!

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

It needs data or wi-fi for everyone to able to access and use it. Kahoot needs to consider that some areas doesn't have a good internet connect, and considering countries who does not have any stable internet connection at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Kahoot!:**

It's fun using the Kahoot, honestly it gives you lot of excitement and engagement when using it.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fun and engagement that Kahoot brings every time we are using it either just through our small meeting or corporate events.

  ### 47. Great review game!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica G. | History Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The interaction between my students as they review test questions.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Student errors can be public, which can lower self esteem.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of getting my students invested in their review work.

  ### 48. Fun interactive quizzing tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like the funky interface, option to customise quizzes with music and background images. It gives multiple choice, true/false, option to give each question different weightage and availability on mobile phone for easy access. While pluing keep the audience enagged because of the scoreboard appearing after every answer.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

If i could speed up the interval time between leadership board and next question screens. It Takes too much unnecessary time to load for impatient minds like mine.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can make my meetings interactive allowing everyone virtually or physically present to participate.

  ### 49. Excellent teaching tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

The introduction/teaching tools to show new concepts and gauge student background knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Students have to be able to see the teacher's screen as well. Teachers need to be sure to verify information on pre-made Kahoots to verify accuracy.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students enjoy "gamified" learning. This prevents misbehavior and promotes engagement and student interest.

  ### 50. Great for quiz review, group ice breakers and more!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Kahoot!?**

I like the option to create your own quizzes, polls, etc or use ones created by others. It is easy to use, engaging, and fun. Love the graphics and music choices!

**What do you dislike about Kahoot!?**

Students learned how to "hack" the Kahoot somehow and generate numerous fake players/participants. Not sure how they do this...but it can be annoying.

**What problems is Kahoot! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping students learn and review for quizzes, helping groups get to know each other through icebreaker games
