"Effortless Desk Booking with Seamless Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I appreciate that Kadence makes booking desks a visual and simple experience, even with more employees than desks. I love that it's extremely easy to integrate with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Teams, and the fact that you can book a room using natural language within Teams thanks to the handy bot. It's packed with quality of life features that I find really useful. The fact that the initial setup took us barely half an hour and it's easy to define booking policies further adds to my positive impression. Overall, I find Kadence to be a good value for the money, easy to set up, and packed with features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

Modifying a room, which is linked to its Exchange Object, requires submitting a ticket to Kadence support. This could be done better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Office Reservation Process"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I appreciate the ease of administration and ease of use for the end user with Kadence. Our users love the live office view, which helps users see their coworkers' locations and allows admins to easily monitor office activity. It's great that our IT and Ops team can remotely monitor and adjust settings when needed, and our office administrators can make direct adjustments to the office they are supporting. Our users also like the flexibility to make reservations via web, Teams, or mobile app, and this ease of use contributes to decent adoption. The live office view is particularly valued by our users. What do you dislike about Kadence?

There tend to be little glitches or anomalies in the software. Recently we had an issue with conference rooms disconnecting and another with recurring bookings in private offices. We hadn't made any changes on our end, but the fixes ultimately were things we could fix on our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Streamlines Desk Bookings"
5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I love the ease of use of Kadence. It's so simple to gain full user adoption, and Kadence handles this core requirement effortlessly. The SSO feature allows me to book a desk with just a couple of clicks, which is incredibly convenient. I also find the visualization helpful as it shows who else is in the office and where they are sitting. The initial setup was very easy because the solution is well-documented, and the team is always accessible and ready to assist. Kadence works really well, and everyone seems more than pleased with the core capabilities we were looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

Managing use behavior is more of a challenge for us. Sometimes we see empty desks where plans have changed, but a desk was not canceled. Without a desk available, other colleagues are not coming to the office, so it is a missed opportunity. Also, we probably need a Kadence ambassador to try and take full advantage, the tech can bring opportunities but it is difficult to drive a cultural change simply by delivering the technological capabilities. Outside of that there are a lot of features added, but these are probably more useful to SMEs than large corporates, where other systems are typically in place to handle announcements for example. "Enhancing Operational Efficiency with Kadence's Streamlined Solutions"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

Kadence is the simplest desk booking system I have encountered in my 15 years of facilities management. The system's rollout was smooth, and our CX Engagement manager was always available to help when needed. Kadence has delivered valuable data to the Ankura London office through its Insights feature. Utilizing Insights has enabled us to shift away from the dependence on office swipe data as key KPIs, freeing up time to concentrate on our ultimate goal: the data itself. Every interaction with Kadence staff has been friendly, and they always provide a solution, even if it's not exactly what we were expecting for our end goal. What do you dislike about Kadence?

This is more of a user-adoption issue with Kadence itself. We’re finding that a lot of staff aren’t using the platform the way they should, and there isn’t really a way, even when working with Kadence, to require or enforce that users actually use it. It’s something our CX Engagement Manager has mentioned, but Kadence doesn’t seem to want to pursue it as a feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Booking Management with Stellar Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I find Kadence user-friendly and extremely easy to use from both an employee and admin perspective. I had a great experience during implementation and with support. The Kadence Agent is a great feature, allowing employees to auto-check in with the platform recognizing they are on the company wifi. Our employees can easily book a desk space for when they are in office, and the platform ensures people comply with our on-site policy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

I wish there was a dedicated reports section, but it is not a dealbreaker. I am able to run reports from the Bookings tab, but in order to see past and future bookings, I need to run two separate reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Tool for Office Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

As a receptionist, I find Kadence really helpful for booking desks and checking which ones are free. I like that it's relatively easy to navigate and having the office layout is super helpful for me. The floorplan is useful because it makes it easier to show people where their desk is without having to search around for desk numbers. The announcement page is also convenient for making public announcements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Desk Booking with Great Teams & Outlook Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

Booking a desk takes under a minute and the floor plan view means you can actually see where your teammates are sitting before you commit. The visibility into who's coming in on which days has cut down on a lot of back-and-forth messaging. The Teams and Outlook integration is the real highlight though — bookings sit alongside your calendar so there's no logging into a separate system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

The reports are hard to read — the layout makes it difficult to pull anything useful out of them without a lot of squinting.

The check-in time display is also frustrating. If someone checks in early, it just shows the early time with no reference to their booked slot. Fine. But if someone checks in late, you have to click into their profile individually to see the actual time, then go back to the main page and scroll down to find where you were. A simple column showing booked time vs. actual check-in time would fix this completely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, UI Shines, Auto Check-In Needs Work"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I love the ease of use and the user interface of Kadence. It works nicely with Microsoft Teams, which is a big plus for our organization. The initial setup was quite easy too, taking only a day, although the floor plans took a few extra days. Kadence allows us to manage our limited desk space efficiently, ensuring no space is wasted especially on busy days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

I find the auto check-in feature a bit temperamental and it doesn't always work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Workspace Booking with Great Onboarding"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Kadence?

I like the features in Kadence that allow staff members to see the availability of spaces, making it easy to book and check-in. It didn't take long to configure, which made the onboarding process very easy and fast. Booking offices and workstations is straightforward, and I appreciate how it allows us to share workspace efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

The report that comes with the subscription is very limited. I had to use another tool to get the numbers I can provide to the business owners for analyzing the system's use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
