What do you like best about Juniper Square?

Juniper has allowed us to scale our investor base and continue to raise capital from HNW investors without building out a large operations or investment management team. It's intuitive to use which allows each of our team members to seamlessly log-in to utilize the software. From managing partners to the analysts, each team member has their own specific use-case.

The features we like best are the investor summaries (we send 1 to each investor every quarter), the ability to tie multiple contacts to an account (accountants, attorney's etc.), the efficient document upload process, secure document storage, robust investor dashboard, and seamless communication tools.

We're constantly receiving feedback from our HNW investors saying this is the best, and simplest, investment management tool they've ever used. This helps us deepen our relationship with our investor base, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Juniper Square?

The software isn't perfect, the Juniper team is constantly rolling out new features. One of the things we think can be improved is the document signature process. We find it a bit clunky, and many of our investors get tripped up in the process.

The other thing we'd like to see is a universal log-in for investors. If you invest with multiple operators who utilize Juniper Square, you have separate Juniper accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While JS is a premium software, you tend to get what you pay for. Many software products can claim similar features, but there can be a huge variation in quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Juniper has enabled us to scale our investor base without increasing headcount, all while delivering a great experience to our investors. It's also allowed us to build trust with our investor base, by delivering best-in-class reporting. As a relatively small team, reporting is our opportunity to differentiate ourselves. What do you like best about Juniper Square?

On the front-end, the investor interface looks professional and is very easy to use. Our investors definitely appreciated the switch to Juniper. The fact that I can have confidence in the accuracy of the information they’re seeing and the quality of the presentation is invaluable. I also can’t say enough about the Customer Support team. What do you dislike about Juniper Square?

There have been a few disconnects with regard to our internal processes and the software. However, the team at Juniper Square has almost always found a work-around. Recommendations to others considering Juniper Square:

We initially chose another investment management software because it fit our budget and met a few of our immediate needs. We quickly outgrew the software and chose to switch to Juniper Square. When comparing Juniper Square to other options, be sure to really consider your company’s growth and the value of a functional CRM, superior fundraising capabilities and overall appearance to your current/ potential investors. Ultimately, Juniper Square has helped take us to the next level and freed me up personally so I can spend time on bigger picture items rather than getting stuck in the weeds. What problems is Juniper Square solving and how is that benefiting you?

Juniper Square has helped us streamline several processes including distribution delivery, investor reporting, and tracking investor communications. Two features that are currently saving me time are:

1) Fundraising- Being able to take our fundraising process online, from sending out an email blast about the opportunity to tracking subscription document delivery, has made every acquisition more efficient and less stressful for our team. Everyone involved in the process can easily see how much equity we’ve raised and the status at all times.

2) K-1 delivery- This was infinitely easier this year thanks to Juniper Square’s ability to confirm electronic delivery approval with our investors and then automatically splitting the pdf packages into multiple documents and matching them to the correct investor. The administrative side has helped tremendously with sending new offerings and property updates to our investors. Every investor in our Fund has given us 100% positive feedback on the ease of using Juniper Square. Juniper Square has allowed us to grow our investment business without having to hire additional staff. The software makes investments, distributions, and tax time a breeze. And the investor portal allows investors the transparency they need for their investments which saves us lots of phone calls and questions! I couldn't do what I do without Juniper and when I think how I ever managed without it...the answer is...I wasn't able to do all that I am able to now - we are better because of JS!
